I should have replied to you after seeing the episode. The episode was quite emotional and seeing Raghav’s panic attack, I can now understand your question. Vo admi Pallavi ka ex husband hi hai…means he didn’t know Mandar personally but was there at the accident spot or he was somehow involved in it. The way he keeps saying Vo aadmi either makes me believe that Mandar worked for Raghav and from Nikhil’s hiring itself we know Raghav mostly isn’t aware of his employees or Ved had hired Mandar to do his work. It may be that he got killed while he was on one of their mission or they were involved in Mandar’s accident. Now some urgent work must have been there, otherwise who leaves their first night to go out and that makes me feel Mandar might have been involved in this shady business.

The last time we saw Charminar was when the red colour was thrown on Pallavi by Raghav and now in the same place, red in his hand. Too much significant coincidence, I almost felt they were trying to show those hands filled with blood had coloured Pallavi’s white sari. Pagla gayi mein bhi Raghav ko dekh ke 😉

I’m going to think more positively. It was as if destiny wanted him there. The red colour from Mandar was shown wiped out in the stormy night and it was destined to be on Raghav’s hand to fill up the colourless life of Pallavi. Gives us more peace of mind.

Sai and Shivangi are doing a tremendous job. Shivangi had all the right expressions on her face showing the fear and concern she felt seeing Raghav like this and what to say about Sai. He absolutely nailed it. I could feel his tension, his fear and his anxiety. He was going mad thinking that man was Pallavi’s husband and his torment was so evident in all his actions. Today’s episode was fantastic.

Why do I feel there weren’t any bullets in that gun. I don’t think Ved will kill him at a bullet shot. Like he says, he likes to play games and his target is Raghav’s torture like he got tortured all these years. A shot would have been a fast death which is not what Ved’s intention is and I think Raghav knows that. Ved also now knows Pallavi is Raghav’s weakness so he is going to use this completely against Raghav to break him. I think Aayi’s words were given at the right time. The way Raghav closed the door on Pallavi shows how he is going to react. He is going to shut himself from every one with his guilt and only Pallavi can bring him out of this. Her faith and love in her husband is to be completely tested.

Uff. Kaafi intense episode, left me feeling all kinds of heavy.

I was already feeling this way about how carelessly Raghav went in to the godown yesterday, but I'm extremely disappointed in Raghav for rising to the bait and playing along with that stupid game. There was a very real chance he could have died, and for what? To rise to a random challenge by an opponent? Does he not think that perhaps it would be unfair for Jaya to lose another son, Kirti to lose another brother, and Pallavi to lose another husband (on vatsavitri, of all days), for this? Didn't appreciate that scene at all.

And with Sunny and Vijay in focus, the limelight is all on abusive partners today! I'm stunned that Sunny's random outbursts don't raise red flags for Kirti. I was so scared for her today. I'm happy she didn't end up eating the pasta. I also hope she doesn't blow up at Pallavi tomorrow for giving away her 'beintihaa mohabbat' ka khaana. I also hope the pasta doesn't do much harm to Farhad, he deserves it the least, he's the best person on this show :(

I am glad that Farhad told Pallavi about Ved. Things were escalating fast, and she needed to know. I'm also glad that Raghav put two and two together fairly efficiently, but also isn't jumping to conclusions and is verifying details. My heart went out to him during his anxiety attack, and I commend him for still being able to both use his mind, and communicate through that. I appreciated him telling Pallavi and Jaya atleast this much, that he doesn't have answers yet. It's better than closing off completely. Uff, he was so disturbed, he wasn't even able to break Pallavi's fast- she had to do it.

Sharda was the star of the show! I love how she called Vijay on all his bullshit today. Very reminiscent of Jaya Bacchhan's infamous "Keh diya na, bas. Keh diya" from K3G. I loved her saying she's ashamed to call him her husband, and to stay away from her and her daughter (and hopefully her son Nikhil too! Koi toh usse yaad karo). She confirmed all of our suspicions, which had been hinted at before. Vijay was an abusive dad (definitely psychologically, possibly physically?) to Mandaar. Their relationship was terrible. Mandaar was terrified of him. Sharda has a lot of pent up resentment- that's why she stands so strongly for Pallavi, because she wasn't able to for Mandaar. And Vijay hates RaghVi for not being scared of him. I'm so keen to see Sharda in the coming plot.

My heart feels heavy after this episode, but I can't wait for all this to unfold.

Although I understand what you are saying, I think Raghav knows Ved very well. Ved wouldn’t kill him and Raghav knows that. He was playing along because he wanted to find out what Ved plans are.

I’m glad we are starting to get the equations between VD and Mandar. So looks like he was another one who was always under VD’s emotional radar. I think marrying Pallavi might be one of the reasons, otherwise it had always intrigued me why Mandar wanted to marry an orphan. Now I think she also was either VD’s choice or somehow landed up marrying Mandar by circumstance. Shaarda is becoming an interesting character. After seeing her today, I don’t think she will do any injustice to Pallavi.

How could Ved have hired Mandaar though? Ved would have been in jail 2 years ago.

I know we're all frustrated with the Deshmukhs...but after today, I really want to find out more about the Vijay-Sharda-Mandaar dynamics. The groundwork was laid so well, that we all had these suspicions, beautifully confirmed by Sharda today. They've been laying groundwork for this since way back, as early as the first 20 episodes, which honestly makes me think this entire track has been well thought through.

The chaarminar visual has to be significant, and I agree with the destiny aspect. I was remembering another episode where they cut to shots of chaarminar so significantly- it was after Pallavi was kicked out of the house. That night was a manifestation of their first encounter too, when he splashed mud on Pallavi, which is exactly what the lies did that night. Just an interesting observation.

I hope it plays out positively too! The thing I've loved about this show is that it's such a good escape, with drama, humour, romance, family, all mixed up. If they take the show in too dark a territory, I feel like a return to the lightheartedness I love so much will be hard :( So I hope this is all executed with sensitivity and nuance and logic.

I think what annoyed me the most was that Ved wasn't really leveraging much on Raghav at that point, so him rising to the bait felt odd to me. There really wasn't a reason to play along. Added to the overconfidence from last episode, where he refused to even take a gun, who knows why? And he went ahead and did it 3 times. A gun typically has six bullets. Was he confident enough in Ved to take a 50% chance of dying? He's crossing the lines between confidence and overconfidence, without acknowledgement of the fact that he's not a lone wolf anymore

Edit: Unpopular opinion, but I'd like Mandaar to have some positive emotions for Pallavi, or at least nothing against her. They spoke a lot, and I'd like for those conversations to have been genuine, but his need to get away was so overwhelming, that she became collateral damage. This girl wrote off two entire years of her life and remained in an abusive household, and would have done it for the rest of her life too, to preserve a promise she made to him. Woh sab bhi jhoot nikla na, toh it's just a bit too much to inflict on her. Ek show mein, ek ladki ke saath, itna zyaada bura nahi hona chahiye.

When I saw Raghav taking up the bait I was angry on him. But I think he knew that Ved would not let him die - Ved loves in torturing his enemies. If Raghav died it would not satisfy the sadistic feelings of Ved. Hence I think Raghav played the game. But still 3 shots was little too much. The creative's could have done the whole thing in 1 shot. But Chalo the track has been rolled out and it is quite promising.

Vijay was an emotionally manipulative father and I loved the way Aayi blasted him. He is angry on Raghav and Pallavi because they stand up to him. Yup he hates anyone who questions his say. As long as people accept what he says, they stay in his good books. Now if Mandar is taking his death then it will be a big issue because it automatically invalidates Raghav - Pallavi marriage.

I absolutely loved Farhad - Pallavi scene. Farhad is the best devar for Pallavi. He told the whole truth and glad that Pallavi knows why Raghav was acting like a maniac at the puja.

Can't wait for Raghav to find the whole truth - damn his guilt will be overbearing and then Ved will emotionally blackmail him also. Pallavi will have to be strong to help Raghav.

exactly, even I felt the same. Raghav knows Ved well to know how he plays his games. But now sadly he was never ready for this shock which Ved had given. It has shaken him badly but hopefully he will clear out the facts. His guilt is too strong here and even I feel Pallavi is the only person who can help him out. Aayi’s words are going to play a big part here for her to save her Satyavaan.
