During marriage, they use orange sindoor. Earlier women wore orange sindoor all her life even after marriage and many still do in villages and some in cities. But later city women outside North Indian states wearing red sindoor seeing others wearing it though some still wear orange sindoor and even many women in North Indian cities and some in villages started wearing red sindoor.
