About the ML, since we've been discussing so much.
Having a top 5 GEC serial in your CV is great for a television actor. SM engagement is not just for fans of the serial but also for other people in the industry to observe and gauge. Definitely, people in the industry know Neil, he has been around for a long time. But, cherry on the cake is his success. He will be under scrutiny much more. Being so highly educated, he of all people should operate with a little more strategy, is what I feel.
His aim in life was surely not to find the girl of his dreams and settle down. In fact, noone actually has these aims or deadlines in their life these days. but that's what it looks like, for him.
OK, he found his soul mate. This relationship is for life, not only for the duration of the serial. Why is he jeopardizing his career image so badly for a seemingly secure relationship? They are sure of each other, respective families love them, then what's the problem?? Why the insecurity?
Acting wise, I find no fault. I love him as Virat. The writing could be much much better. There 's an arc that every character goes through which doesn't seem to be happening here. Let's wait and watch. The creatives have always disappointed us in crucial scenes, that's why I have no hope.
However, it's a top 2 serial!! He will be in focus, he needs to buck up on his PR skills. Vaise, I went through his Insta TL. His posts and general demeanour has been one of total professionalism till a certain point after Ghum started.
His long time fans probably know better, the change in him, I can only gauge and guess.
After Ghum, we fans will move on. I hope he realises that.
