Absolutely, the Shiva-Maami conflict is one of the show's highlights, and I don't see the current scenes being out of the blue right now. One needs to go back to each episode to understand how it's written from day 1. I was reading a post about had it not been for the family members, Shiva would have killed Miami long back and go to Jail happily.

@bold - I think that's one of the most crucial aspects of understanding how shiva could do something as cruel and ignorant as what he did. I, like you and Prema, was not surprised at all by his actions. The way his character and his relationship with Maami has been written since day 1 is explanation enough for why he did what he did. Though very wrong, it was expected. Even this terrace throwing ordeal doesn't seem so far fetched to me - this is the same woman that had handed him plates for begging.

I like all of the marriage scenes you mentioned as well as when she falls and something about the tie scene - the anger and insults they both have for each other was so raw and passionate. I especially liked it when she walked around him and mocked him even though it was harsh I thought it was apt for their relationship 😆

pre-wedding I also really liked the scene of her imitating him and the one where she buys a shirt for him and he corners her against a pillar and then throws the shirt on her head and says "aankhe kisko dikharahi hai" while picking up a rock 🤣🤣

during the wedding, one of my favorite scenes was when he ties the mangalsutra around her neck - something about his gaze and his expression said that she's mine

He was certainly spellbound, even though for a millisecond when he saw her in the wedding attire 😍

The shirt scene was hilarious, 🤣🤣🤣

The way he picked up a brick and raavi ran away scared...diid she really think he will throw the brick?🤣🤣

I wonder if raavi has ever felt that he will hurt her physically 🤔...she is never shown to be scared of him post marriage, but she was a bit scared of him in the pre marriage scenes..the brick scene, sasta wolverine scene.....her high level thinking was that shiva Will trouble her by making her wash his clothes and cook for him after marriage 😂😂.

That's her definition of Tu Mera pati banke mujhe Sata sake🤦🤦🤦.

Yess...if anyone will watch this week's episode without any idea about the previous episodes, they will probably think shiva is mad.but his character had been kept consistent since childhood.

This had to happen sooner or later.

@bold - I agree, there was a hint of attraction in his eyes before he snapped out of it

I do think raavi knows what he is capable of and he had so mercilessly thrown the shirt towards her head and I think it had hit her too, so maybe the brick wasn't so far fetched for her 🤣🤣🤣

this reminds me when after wolverine scene she sees him the next time and tells him "ke aapne voh theen chaku leke mujhe aise khop khop karke marde" or something along those lines I just remember the khop khop part 🤣🤣🤣

their dialogues pre-wedding were so well-written and funny yaar

raavi is tubelight 🤣🤣 one minute she thinks he'll kill her and next she thinks he'll make her wash his clothes 😆

both of which he quickly dispelled

1) cooking --> the next day when she makes chai, he doesn't want it at all especially since she didn't make a cup for him and when dhara hands it to him he doesn't want it

2) washing clothes --> he dirtied the clothes she washed for him 😭🤣🤣

The Dev-Shiva conflict has also been built from the start. From the first episode itself, we see both of them fighting over something trivial. Dev being irritated and Shiva hitting him. I had earlier said, too, that Dev-Shiva has an upmanship game in their undercurrents. Dev shall never have the passion/strength of Shiva, while Shiva can never have respect from society like Dev. This calls for a helluva conflict!

That reminds me Raavi-Dev need closure too.

And, Shiva-Raavi needs to talk about Dev. It would be such a tender conversation where Shiva, who has already fallen for her, listens to her about her past feelings trembling from inside. He could never be the man she wanted. While Raavi treading cautiously, unsure if Shiva is the right person to speak about this.
