Not an actress but Siddharth Malhotra. Tbh I don't get his appeal, he is just your basic light skinned boy with pink lips. Nothing striking about his face or personality.

Also Kartik Aryan. No way he would have been national crush with that face had he been darker.

Even Deepika has quite a dusky complexion, over the years she has gotten lighter but she is naturally dusky. Also I don't know if it's the makeup or tan or editing but Disha Patani looks darker than her contemporaries too. But then rest of them are blindingly fair.

it's so hard for me to believe Karthik Aryan is the national crush. No judgement, but someone with a crush on him please explain the appeal. I am just curious 🤔

Deepika tanned and bipasha are the 2 prettiest actresses in Bollywood in recent times.

Kareena isn't just light skinned pretty, she was so innocently stunning in refugee, I don't think it is all her skin color.

Karisma isn't pretty other than the hair, the light skin does nothing. her stardom was because of the first Kapoor clan woman acting and then she became a decent looker , dancer Jodi with govinda and salman.

But the fair skin tone makes her look better, if not beautiful. If she were very dark skinned..

I think no actress is actually really dark skinned. They are dusky, fair but not too fair.. but not really dark skinned.

I can only think of Nandita Das and too an extent, Rekha.

Oh yes and Bipasha has a darker skin tone.. not really dark skinned though. But probably that’s the reason why actresses in those days started doing hot scenes and exposing.

I remember ages ago Mallika Sherawat in an interview admitted that she has a very average face so she made use of her not so average body..

I never found Bipasha remotely pretty.. skin tone or not. I find PC and DP very above average looking (not like.. very beautiful or anything) have seen all three of them irl.
