Heck I would have preferred them using Kitni Baatein (even those it’s a bit intense)... Raavi crying and Shiva sitting silently in his room with a blank stare.

Anita coming to Raavi’s room and wrapping her arms around her sister and later Maami comes in with a cake. It’s not that I want Raavi to cry but this would have left a much greater impact. And the three could have shared a hug. In the end, Raavi could have turned and given a sad smile on the camera while Shiva tosses and turns in bed.

And we could have gotten the rest of the family reflecting as well with the same song. Anything but the Mast Magan sequence could have worked! Although I love the song, it was too loud for this situation. Something softer and more somber would have been perfect!
