How does that even work in her head ? i means he she sees her maasi wear bangles stolen from pandya family and she just moves on? i get this issue is between pandya family and maami but she is part of pandya family now and if she wants respect for her maasi from that family, she needs to make maami realize and repent for her mistakes and that could start with returning those kangans respecfully. instead she announces that she will never give them back. It just makes me wonder how does raavi even have a leg to stand on to defend maami the way she does? anyways coming back to the shiva, i think has reached his limit when maami challenged him. I do feel bad for the way shiva bargained for those kangans but he was not wrong in demanding them back. he was wrong in the way he did it but not about demanding it back. Now it seems he has made this his zid and he is not going to budge. i am with shiva for demanding kangans back but not for hurting raavi. It seems dhara and gautam have no issues with maami and are behaving in a pretty chilled manner compared to suman and shiva. I guess they are just that mahaan to forget maami's deeds and the gravity of it. dhara ranting about shaming her upbringing and then a minute later was defending shiva by saying he doesnt do anything with bad intentions was something that boggled my mind. kehna kya chaahti hai ?

I agree with everything you've mentioned. I think maami's constant instigations are what made Shiva go this way. He wanted to return the kangan back to his mother ever since he was a child. Maami stole the kangan when they're going through a poor financial condition. It's also his father's last gift to his mother. And by getting the kangan back ,he wants to redeem himself of the 10 year long pain in his heart ,the pain he felt seeing his parents in peril. Unhealed scars from one's childhood like this haunts a person his entire lifetime. That's what makes Shiva even more hellbent on getting the kangan back. I definitely don't support the way he treated Raavi but her being a CONNECTION between two sworn enemies, she had to go through this. In reality, healthy relationships under such circumstances is not possible. More than often , it becomes impossible for us to do justice to both the parties and people end up supporting the one who's their own which is Suman in this case. He has a long way to go before he starts respecting Raavi and cares about her emotional needs and not to act in ways that will hurt her.

As for Raavi, she did what was necessary by taking a stand for herself . She is a human of flesh and blood who never deserves to be used as a leverage in the rivalry between two people and she pointed that out to Shiva too. I liked how she gave it back to Dhara when she went to console her and asked her to go back with them. She needs time to reflect and understand everything that's happening with her. She is having to face the brunt of everyone's mistakes without any fault of her own. I honestly don't want her to forgive Shiva easily. She deserves a strong apology for being treated this way. Hope the writers give us that and don't brush everything under carpet.

@bold: Even I found this part cringe-worthy. One time she's saying Shiva can never have bad intension and praising his adbhutness, the other moment she's saying he's failed her parvarish and blah blah.

On a separate note, before all of this happened I, for once, wanted Raavi to question maami regarding the stolen kangan, now that she's a part of the Pandya family. Though she wasn't aware of the last gift part till now but Suman herself told her about maami's stealing. She respects and loves maami and looks upto her as a mother figure but that should not make her support her wrongdoings. Moreover, this entire fiasco shows that maami's ego is more important to her than her daughter's happiness ( that too for something that was never her own) and it's high time for Raavi to realise this.

Avi said Shiva's and Raavi's birthday in OG was one month apart. Rest all is spectaculations/wish list.

But I heard that OG version they both always respected each other and this track was never there. But I do hope that with this track, they will show this!

I didn't feel anything bec I know everything will be just brushed aside and forgotten ..I don't mind if they show such things ..problem is in justification. Call a spade a spade...jo galat hai usko galat bolo. the precap is shit. The family thinks raavi will forget everything and celebrate her bday in such tense circumstances without resolving the issue.

Though I don't have the same feelings about the episode, I definitely hear you and can see why this may piss people off.

I guess for me, irrespective of what others do, Raavi standing up for herself makes it a huge deal. What they're doing is wring and she's standing her ground. Abig change from how she reacted with kidnap MU. And then I maybe a little foolish and expecting that this will be addressed instead of it being swept under the rug.

But I can totally see why the poor anticipation of how they resolve this issue, especially given their history, it can be frustrating for you!
