Raavi has not accepted dev.she is just avoiding him.that is confusing for me also, but I would wait and watch to see how it unfolds.

We are seeing a lot of comments on Shiva's pain recently, because the last few episodes have been shiva- centric. The kangan track is all about him and maami , and raavi is a victim. Her pain is not trivialised, not by the makers and not by the viewers.

I would want you too see the previous episodes because reading the written updates is different from seeing a scene with the dlgs and expressions.

PS- I have read that you are on a break, so I assume you have not seen the previous few episodes of the kangan track. It's completely your choice if you are disturbed by shiva's behaviour and don't want to see it, at the end of the day it's just a TV show.

Did that son/daughter do me wrong? No, then I would have no qualms in respecting that son/daughter. Why would I not respect someone who never did me wrong, just because of what their parent did?

And truthfully, I am have begun seeing the episodes because I have to make some siggies out of it. I actually have them all downloaded on my laptop and I still do not see the pain in Shiva. Maybe, that's how I feel.

I am on break because it felt stupid to wake up early only to watch such ridiculous content. I am all in for this track, this separation and reunion thing, but what is unacceptable is the way Shiva treats Raavi. His behavior disturbs me greatly because I hate men who treat women like this.

This could be a very beautiful journey to experience but there are a few things that are unacceptable.

It's not easy to respect and care for a person you have hated your whole life. - And is that hatred justified?

It's not easy to accept your childhood love's brother as your own husband. - But you can accept the brother who left that girl to die.

I am all in for complications, for separation tracks but as I said previously, a few things are unacceptable.

I couldn't agree any more with this post!

When I first began watching Pandya Store (pre-haveli episodes), this show was genuinely in my Top 5. I loved the delicate balance between each family member. I loved the sensible manner that "family values" were shown and carried out with. I loved how no one seemed truly evil, just shades of gray, but not evil. However that delicate balance has been broken with this haveli track. Characters that should not have been ruined like Dhara and Anita have changed. Apologies that should have been spoken Dev to Raavi and Dhara to ShiSh are wiped under the rug. Communication, which used to be strong within the Pandya family, is failing which is only resulting in further problems.

Paired with the concept of respect... personally speaking, I think no one in that family truly respects Raavi. If they had we would've seen Dev apologizing to Raavi, Dhara giving Raavi the space, and Shiva actually considering Raavi as his wife.

Many scenes are just not living up to the mark. And this is due to poor writing, editing, and perhaps constraints with the set. As such, we are seeing each character go on their own self-destructive path without a proper means of apology or reflection.

I was speaking to my sister the other day (she does not watch the show but knows it through me), and I spoke about my recent dissatisfactions. Post NDE, I became really bothered how Shiva grabbed at Raavi's shoulders. Some mentioned it was a "pyaare pyaare" moment as Raavi questioned him on his anger. But I couldn't bring myself to feel the same way. The second he grabbed his shoulders, especially after their NDE where she would continue to be in pain, he lost a decent amount of respect from me that day (nothing could justify his actions). Anger is one thing, but grabbing and manhandling is another, especially when you know someone is recovering from pain. Seeing the Twitter trend was even more disheartening as that manhandling moment was washed away by the "pyaare pyaare" scenes of him brushing back her hair.

As for your comments about the Shiva-centric posts that users have been making. There are some posts that I completely disagree with and some posts that I agree with. I only made Shiva posts myself because I completely sympathize and agree with Raavi. I didn't think there was anything left to add. But, Shiva's case was a little more interesting as I didn't agree with him and I wanted to see if I could personally get into his mind.

My message is purely for Piu's analysis and her beautiful caps and posts. I've seen them from the time I've joined this forum. There was a time when I didn't understand Raavi at all (when she kept blaming Shiva over everything) - it's Piu's analysis which help me understand her. There was a time when I didn't understand Dhara, Shiva, Suman...so many characters and behaviours, and her analysis helped me. The key word is understand, not accept. The analysis goes into childhood, explores the roles of others, and even society. She goes into historical backgrounds, she brings in the most apt quotes, she brings in society's most horrible qualities and applies it to PS. But she also posts separate things on the EDT which express her disgust or love on something. So yeah I defo don't want them to end. I just want to show her some love. Her analysis are something I often show my mum, and even she has so much praise for her. Maybe I don't say it enough but she's helped me enhance my knowledge ❤. But I understand that not everyone has to feel about it the way I do.

Don't think I don't want you to express your views any less. You are completely entitled to it ❤.

Maybe it's just how I perceive them. Everything makes a round around and ends up being in favor of Shiva one way or the other. Not in favor of how he treated Raavi in these past few episodes but how he is in pain himself and he regrets his actions and that Raavi has a place in his heart.

I don't believe all that.

Let's just agree to disagree on the last 2 episodes.we all have loved this show at a point of time which explains why we are here discussing so passionately about it.

We all agree that the show has deteriorated since the haveli track, let's hope that the makers pull up their socks and give us sensible story line, genuine shivi progression in the upcoming episodes.address the manhandling, address the Dev raavi emotional issue than sweep it under the rug, make this track upto the mark and not just an illogical hype for nothing.

PS. Eventhough I love Shivi a lot a really don't want the show to revolve around them hope Iss kaand k baad kisi aur pair pr bhi focus kare

Thanks for understanding.

At the end of the day, my issue lies with the content that we are being subjected to. Why do these show makers have no qualms in showing such unacceptable content? Manhandling a woman, using her for your own selfish purposes, making a joke out of a man's misery, and what not!

I took a break from these episodes because what I saw made no sense, no connection, no flow. And it is so difficult to watch that I could not continue.

One one hand I totally believe this is a result of carelessness from Shiva's family members. Had he been taught to atleast behave properly with Raavi, the manhandling stuff would have never come, on the other Raavi yells and gives back but never really makes it an issue, she gets so used to it that she started ignoring it. If this happens for real, Raavi would never like Shiva, probably not even treat him his family and call him a part of family.

Regarding Shiva using her for bargaining, that was a plain disgusting move, good that Raavi stood for her. Shiva not respecting her stems from his childhood, he never treats her like a girl, he treats her like a mere crazy person on whom he can totally vent his anger on. I've never watched the OG but still can tell Kathir would never treat Mullai like how Shiva does to Raavi. This part of manhandling is tailor made for the hindi audience, such characters are mostly treated heroes, most notably Ekta and Gul's shows.. The manhandling part gets covered up when he does something good. I would have still loved Raavi and Shiva if they fought verbally and don't go physical with each other. For a change Raavi called out on his wrong doings.

@bold - that's just so true!❤️

@italic-underline - That's the thing I hate the most! I so wish I knew Tamil so I could watch Pandian Stores instead. This Hindi tv content is not my cup of tea. The only shows that I actually enjoyed are Kitani Mohobbat Hai and Miley jab Hum Tum.

I have always loved the advice she gives to Shivi. They are on point and have she also has made them understand what she wanted to convey.

Her years of experience definitely have an upper hand over Dhara

Suman and her detested patriarchial mindset are one of the most atrocious traits of her character. I hated her for reducing Dhara to a womb that mattered and those disgusting words she said to her.

But, she has always given some excellent advice to Shiva and Raavi. She has supported both of them equally today; despite her acidic rant about Neg, Shagun etc., she did support Raavi.

Thank you🤗

I mostly ignore commenting over such conflicting topics but sometimes things happen and I cannot stop myself from commenting😆 You know that urge you get that no this shouldn't be like this and then no matter how much I try to ignore it, it keeps on making rounds in my head!🤪

Abuse is the worst type of trauma that can be inflicted upon a person. In real life, no one should face such trauma but let's be honest, as a society with internalised patriarchy, there's hardly anyone who isn't abused.

The hypocrisy of our society is that we worship Devi and yet inflict such trauma to women in general.
