Honest opinion, Pratiti is a far better dancer than the level of praises and recognition she is getting.

Indian Idol ran the gamut of all emotions possible. From possessive adoptive mothers who could cry at any injustice, to starry eyed admirers, to "up with the Nagas, or Mizos", or whatever, every emotion was displayed with intense vigour through the season. If you were there only to appreciate music you were drowned out. That is the reason why 2 Ormax personalities are idols and outrank Geeta Kapur and even Neha Kakkar! That is also the reason why someone holding the wrong mobile can generate endless comments and spin countless YT videos! And let me not talk about the number of hits on someone sleeping at the back of a car in a 5 sec clip
Idol was mad, and made madder by Sony and creative teams ham-handedness and apparent bias. It gave everyone, who was in any case on edge, ample reason to be 100% certain that every injustice was being meted out to his/her favourite to give the crown to someone else. And because the votes swung many times hope kept driving the obsessed.
Nothing like that will remotely happen here. It does not have that masala mix - and thank god for that!
