He promised uday to safely bring back vashma and kabir, yet he never bothered to think about them or even his parents while in jail... It was amrit, amrit and amrit only.

His obsession with amrit is so destructive.... Uday never showed this kind of obsession for vashma even when she left him and married farooq.
