I can just imagine how relieved the team would be to be shooting in a real set, instead of having to make do in cramped hotel rooms. I am so excited about the upcoming episodes, I don't even care what they serve content wise. For at least a week, I'm going to distract myself from any scene I don't like by looking at the eye-candy setting.
It's not even just RR Mansion, though that's obviously the set I was missing the most. I want the original Deshmukh house with that beautiful open verandah (let's accept the fact that D-fam scenes are here to stay, and I'd rather have them there than all in this one living room at Janakamma's house), the sari shop, the gali in which DSE is located (that scene with Raghav sitting on the roof of his car, absolutely dominating the entire space, is etched in my brain). All those original locations had so much charm, which I'm so excited for.
I feel the same, sister. I am just so excited to see every space in the mansion being used. What I love about the team is the use the spaces, lighting, and camera angles really well so you feel like you are getting to see the mansion in a new way every time. Unlike other shows where you have a standard angle from which living room, kitchen, etc. are shot, here there's no fixed one. A great example is when Raghav was sitting on a windowsill upstairs, just outside his study, with a drink in hand. What a brilliant shot! Another is a view from upstairs of him sitting at the dining table looking at his phone and laughing (during the SMS exchange scene). The list is endless and are the permutations the team comes up with to give us beautiful screenplay. Every single shot in that mansion has been brilliant.
