I agree that investigate journalism suits her best as it has the field work aspect to it as well as the idealism that she believes in. I feel that she has a better way with words as she is able to explain complicated things so simply. Seedhi baat no bakwaas.

I could never imagine her as a police officer because of one big thing especially- she cannot separate her emotions from her work. Her emotions influence how hard she works. Also she has a lot of sympathy & empathy. I have doubts whether she would be disciplined or strict enough with criminals. So it is better if she doesn't go that way.

Lol emotions bhi manage ho jaate if she had the discipline to be trained as a police officer. But she just doesn’t 😆….journalism doesn’t require that level of rigid discipline toh yeh manage kar legi Imlie even with her impulsiveness. Baaki her core fearlessness to stand up to danger also makes her well suited for this :)

Bahut scope hai to show this career path well for her and still create situations for drama vis a vis where her impulsiveness will land her even while trying to investigate 😆.

I’m also struck once again by how Adi Imlie ke career goals align too. Didi was always at the periphery of Adi’s career. Never really understood his work and what it means to him like Imlie does….Yes, many people probably applauded him for his work as a journalist. But general applause/kudos and woh earnest appreciation mein difference hota hai. When Imlie tells him how his work matters and transforms the world, it hits him on another level and speaks to his idealism. She gets it because she also views the world with the same idealism as him. That is why they are kindered spirits - soulmates….despite all the surface differences between them.

Reason I think journalism suits her best is same reason I think it suits Adi the best….they both don’t have that much patience for bureaucracy which would be required for an IAS job. 😆…..They both have the fierce fire of idealism and Imlie mein toh aur bhi woh revolutionary waali fire hai that SK inculcated in her. So journalism provides them with that Avenue to justice, helps them in bringing injustices to light, speaking truth to power.

It also fits Imlie’s adventurous side 😆….she’s not really made for a desk job….tehelna hota hai isko humesha 😆….and yes her levels of excitement to do sting operations and spying type kaam 😆….all lends itself well to making her suited for investigative journalism. Baaki she already has a talent with words just like her Babusahib. Bas thoda aur polish ho jayega toh aur nikhar ke aayega sab :).

Police officer banne ke liye she lacks the discipline 😆….unfettered spirit she wants to be….so journalism suits her skill set best.

+1 on what you said about her free spirit. Her purpose of fighting for what is right and making a difference is best served with investigative journalism. While she is hardworking, like you said, usse babugiri nahi hogi. She would definitely want to be in the middle of things rather than watch from the sidelines. Would love to see Adi and Imlie's dynamic there. How he guides her with putting her entire unfettered spirit and energy into getting the truth, the way he learnt from his editor. Would be fun agar they made her an intern in Adi's newspaper to work with him. Kya mazaa aayega to see them officially work with each other. Wahaan pe she will have to listen to him and he has to ensure that uske enthusiasm mein she does not get carried away. Hope we get to see something like that soon.

Adi never this freely teased and flirted with Imlie. Felt so nice seeing them like this.. He opened up more in disguise... One good thing came out of this whole drama is that, Imlie learned were well how to dominate him 😆

Adi did open up more in Imlinder mode but I was still very thankful to see apna Adi back in last scene. His Imlinder tone is gonna haunt me for a while in terms of cringe 😆….need more Adi scenes to cleanse that from my memory 😆

Agla round of teasing he can do in Adi mode. Spare us the Imlinder pleaj 🙏😂.

Biwi ko kaam pe bhi saath mein lekar jaayega toh aur jhagde honge 😆….better to keep that separate I think. Not that I mind the internship idea but overall I feel it’s better ki home and work life remains separate inke liye. Lol

I actually think she can join a rival newspaper long term….compete kar sakte hain as journalists 😆.

By the way things are going lagta hai shayad 200 wpi mein shayad bahut bada bawaal hoga, dekhte hain. Everybody is hinting at the Feb truth and their shaadi wala truth coming out, toh let's see.

But yes, would love to see Adi grooming her abhi se, in terms of kya subjects lena and what to focus on to get to her goal. Somebody said something about some college scandal - that would be a great way for both of them to work together again like they did before.

Totally with you in this.. isko excitement chahiye hoti hai and iske andar ek aag hai. Journalism gives it the right disha the right outlet to get it all out be there in field and do something for people like her by supporting their causes and writing for them and their truth...baaki yes she is our adventure loving bunny who takes all sorts of risks when she firmly puts her belive in something and actually has the ability to do all the dangerous work on her own dum abhi se aage jaake yeh aur hi firm hogi and aur hi confident and good for her.. she lives by khid pe yakeen huye ka padi ...Go Girl kill it 🥳👏

word about how much she understands his work.. what makes it even better is it is not the token kinds ke haan mera pati jo bhi kia theek hai she actually has the in depth understanding and also on her own without him ever having to say it to tell her.. that is what partners are as you said that is why they are so made for each other.

When she praises him it touches him on another level caz she shows him his work in a light he has probably forgotten to see it due to the routine of it now since he has been at it for a while as adi said way back ke shayad woh yehi sunana chahta tha that motivation.. she makes him see his purpose reignited the flame inside him and in the best ways possible to stand up to continue doing what he does like even in this she said she understands why he risks his life at drop of hat ... something nobody has ever told him they always chide him be like why he has to be careless and that is fine from the pov's of family love but they don't understand why it is such a matter of life and death for him the core of why he puts his life on line..

It is not like imlie doesn't love him or care for his life heck sabse zyada but she gets it on another level only she understands why he goes that far and that is just remarkable.. and she admires that the most his fearlessness ..😳 his integrity to go against all evils and him being this honest on ground when it.is so.easy to be diverted kisi ka willpower rehta nahi hai aaj kal .. that is what impresses her his truthfulness and his sachai and his need to go all out for it.. which is why when she praises him it lagooes on his dil he gets emotional and he feels that joy that sukoon which he doesn't get from surface level ki praises and tokeinsms no awards can give him that satisfaction that he gets in imlie ka itna heartfelt simple appreciations

For some reason - when he said important test pass karne hai - I was reminded of the tawa poem - I really wish that comes out soon. It and her writing in Adi's wedding card - both best showcase Imlie's talent in the area of journalism - the ability to connect with words.

One of my fav dialogues is Adilie conversation after the cricket bat incident where she says you don't need a bat because you have a pen. That sequence was simply brilliant and set in the right place. Yesterday's dialog was also good...but not in the same vein as the other in terms of positioning - I was not convinced that Adi did anything great as Imlinder for her to particularly at that moment call out how impressed she was with him. Maybe if they had inserted a few lines about how Adi overcame his basic nature to become Imlinder it may have helped...but since it was a fully Imlie plot...the connection to what she said and tying to Adi in that moment did not fully resonate. In general tho - the fact that Adi inspires Imlie with his work is believable.

Why do they cut short all Adilie scenes esp when the connect is just starting? Sumbul said in her interview that some really good scenes are coming which makes me hope even with all the volatile drama makers may have found lovely ways to break out the truths. I believe marriage truth will come out before daughter truth - which will somewhat curtail the didi jaap. MAkers are seeing that viewers have had enough with didi japp.

It will be very interesting to see Adi-Imlie in the same professional setting. The balancing of their personal & professional equation would be fascinating to see. So much potential for exploring their dynamics😃.

Let's see how the makers progress Imlie's career path. She has just started out on her educational journey. There is plenty of time till we reach the stage of her professional journey.

Her personality is definitely feasible for journalism for definitely plethora of reasons. Moreover, PD mei bhi progression hona h at least in terms of getting the basic education for young individuals (especially women) who can later serve back to their native community & Imlie could begin this initiative for the benefit of PD.

I thought maybe it was me who is not able to see the whole imlinder thing in a good light bas, misreading it or something cause I found it super cringe couldn’t watch the last episode either 😕 but thank you for validating my thoughts yet again ke it’s not just me 😆
