Udaariyaan actor Ravi Dubey aur Sargun Mehta ke Dreamyata Productions ka show hai so as they are actors they know the pulse of the audience and i am hopeful something like this wont happen with Udaariyaan. I think they shouldnt wait anymore and shift it to 8 pm next week. Shakti has ruined that slot, Udaariyaan is establishing now and almost new so moving to primetime right now will bring new audience too for the show.

@bold that's why I'm hopeful too. But will they be able to compete against Ghum? There's so much negativity there but they are able to pull audience anyway.

They are shooting soon after Mumbai shoot got allowed. They are shooting f om 1st or 2nd week of June so new episodes may come after some banks of episodes.

Positivity always attracts audience more than negativity. Ghum's monopoly is there because Zee and Colors have flop shows at 8 pm slot presently. I can undoubtedly say that if Udaariyaan is shifted to 8 pm it will get rake 2+ ratings easily and slowly and gradually Ghum audience will shift to watch Udaariyaan. I saw this happening with Ye Jadoo Hai Jinn Ka when the show was going all negative and Barrister Babu's entry brought a large amount of audience. Now when Barrister Babu will take leap Imlie ratings will also fall down.
