The love marriage part is something I have been questioning too. Like, is it so bad? In real life, Danish married his girlfriend of some 7-8 years and Minal is also engaged to a guy of her choice. So is love marriage still looked down upon in Pakistani societies?

I listen to the OST at least 10 times a day 😆

Join the Danish bandwagon, I will recommend you to watch Deewangi if u haven't already. 😆 I waited for nearly a year to watch him on screen and that anticipation drove me nuts 🤣 But worth the wait 😳

You know, the only thing I am kinda weary about is that the girl will be protrayed as righteous, even though she wronged the guy. He stood by her, but she just left him...hope this doesn't become influencial in society.

The mother is super annoying and super ignorant and super egoistic, absolutely no doubt about it. And the blame of Nimra and her family having to face such an insult, totally lies with her.

That said, our resident Deewana is the culprit of Isra and her family. He should’ve approached her dad the moment she alarmed him about the rishta topic. At that time his reaction was lukewarm and then suddenly he decides to literally drag her out of her home from the midst of a very important family event and land up at his own supposed Nikkah holding her hands? What did he expect? That people will utharo aarti for her and welcome her and him with open arms? The least he could’ve done is take her permission and approval before doing such a thing?

I had heard a lot about Deewangi and Sultan's character, mainly because my family was following it and I have heard that OST being played on Alexa like a million times lol by my sister. But I am yet to watch it..(TBT i saw the last 10 minutes of the last episode where Sultan gets shot by the girl) will surely catch up on it..because uhh Danish as a bad boy☺️😆

Isra is about 0.1% better than Hamna since she at least acknowledged the presence of Shahzaib in her life.. But the fact that she gave him up so easily after he put everything on the line for her is just ughhhh..

I hope, seriously and fervently hope there's no marital rape involved in this one.. Barring that, I honestly get the character of Shahzaib and how he could take the drastic step and turn full on psycho.. He is basically cornered from all sides.. There's not one person in proximity he can turn to for comfort

Reminds me of Doraha.. There at least the guy had the support of the girl he was in love with.. she fought the world for him.. Of course what later happened was ugh but at least in the beginning, both were in it together.. Isra literally let go of him and agreed to marry the first guy her family selected at the first sign of a problem

Omg dude u don't know what you're missing out on if you haven't watched Deewangi! I must say your mother and sister have good taste 😉😆 I still hum the OST at times and my mom is like you gotta get over the Sultan mania 🤣

Danish as Sultan was the definition of the Julia Michael song Heaven, "they say all good boys go to heaven, but bad boys bring heaven to you". ☺️☺️

We used to have such lengthy discussions on the forum about Sultan, and we were frustrated with what the writers did in the end 😆 And Shahzaib is basically a lesser grey and lesser ruthless version of Sultan, with more level-headedness. But I get the feeling he's gonna be a bigger psycho than Sultan 😆

Sultan was literally a superior version of all the bad boys put together. Freakin Damon Salvatore, Christian Grey and Don Massimo were nothing in front of him

Pro Tip: See the first 13 episodes in full lengths, then you can keep on watching it in FF mode...but focus Sultan's bits 😆 Then from 24, he returns and is constant till the very end.

Actually, I got introduced to Danish via Ayeza only. MPTH was the first Pak show I ever saw and Ayeza was such a dream in that Few looks of hers are so iconic from that show, esp the black sari and when she starts dating Shehwar *chef's kiss*. ❤️

I've basically given up ITV, I cannot tolerate people becoming makkhi, macchar and saap 🤣 And all that unrealistic makeup, costumes, fx and sound effects give me headache

I haven't seen the show you are talking about, who is Hamna and which show is that? I might give it a try but if you could please give me some context and a bit of the plot, that would be great 😆

Hamna is the character in ishqiya. Hamna and Humza are in love for 4 years but marries her father's choice because she didn't have the courage to stand up to her father. Humza later finds out about her nikah done. Later he marries hamna's sister roomi to take revenge on hamna. He threatens hamna secretly whenever possible but is nice towards roomi. With time he falls in love with roomi. She gets pregnant too but find out about hamza and hamna's past. She leaves hamza and lose her baby too due to stress. So she divorce hamza and moves on in life but forgives hamna for everything. Hamna's husband also forgives her and they start afresh. Hamza goes into depression as everyone abandons him including his family.

Caught up on episode 3 and 4 - Ok so basically Isra chickened out...kaafi fikka love tha bhai from her side. Shahzeb had to get Isra there, otherwise he would have been forced to get married??? But, he should have just taken her in confidence and told her that they need to prevent his nikkah or something..that is a flaw.

If I would be in the place of the dad, man anyday I would have chosen Shahzeb over this creep Harris..lol

As if the evil families werent enough, now we have an evil bhabhi also..the director loves to pull in the typical tropes.
