Just because other shows and their audience did nothing, doesn't mean we follow the same.

Yes probably even now there are worse shows than this, but I don't watch them, so I dont know what happens.

But I watch this one, and they have crossed the line which they were toeing with already.

How the story could have been with IPS officer and his medical student wife, building their career and life together and correcting and changing their family's age old thought process in this journey.

They created two awesome characters and butchered them. The family is beyond redemption.

Writers think they hit jackpot formula - abuse 4 days, FL standing up 1 day and Sairat bedroom scene - 1 day. Release BTS pics to keep online audience occupied and happy.

We all waited for the Devi-Harini track reveal thinking now Chavans will get their due, for doing something vile for 10 years, but writers brushed it under carpet. The abusers do not even regret their action, forget being punished. The people who did that to their own daughter and granddaughter, can do worse to their bahu and get away without any consequences.

The show is becoming one sided now, where bullies continue to abuse the girl until she breaks down and sending away the cop coz he is unaware of things happening at his own house.

Raising a complaint or re-tweeting takes only few mins, probably lesser time than writing a post in this forum. Let is try it.

Child Marriage was not normalized in BV, the whole plot was about its aftereffects , about how it is not a good practice and is still being followed, the show showed its repercussions in protagonists life and what it does to a family. Dadi was not the vamp of the show. BV was more of each character, their traits, behaviour, mind set An it's effects.

Dadi had a mindset of old times and reacted to a situation accordingly. It was like how a real person responds to a situation.

Your dadi, doing smthin similar will not earn her Jail time or punishment. You work around with their mindset An show them brighter side.

Dadi in BV changed with time An got progressive. That was the basic purpose An premises if the show. I do not see it as white wash her or anything. She learned with time.

SP will put disclaimer and go Scot free .that is all.

Unless until trp falls they won't care.

But still nothing wrong in trying in order to bring the matter in the light. Sensitive issues like honour killing later Suicide should NOT be promoted in a National TV.

A strong girl tolerating nonstop Verbal abuse in the name of love makes no sense as its also promoting wrong message.

All shows have dramas as it adds crisp in the storyline but in Ghum level of toxicity shown is not entertaining at all

@bold: hoho, this is ITV. I never expect that, not even from Ghum. But only making clear that it's wrong, Virat is IPS. Show Sai making abuse complaint, give Virat powerful dialogues, show Sai (and maybe Virat too) leaving CN, atleast for some time. Show Virat and Sai grilling the ghar ke bade, raising valid points, calling them out, cold treatment and all that. This is what's usually shown in other series too I think? Not asking too much right? Cutting down level of toxicity.

Online TRP fell down, IF rating went down. Atleast these should be indicators to makers before they make offline TRPs also to fall

The biggest problem I have with the show is non stop toxicity. Yes drama gets them TRP's but the level of crap they dished out for a mere Saree is beyond belief. What were the dialogues given to P and her gang and the retaliation dialogues from Sai also did not make sense. If there were good retaliation dialogues and no Sai breakdown I don't believe anyone would have cared this much. We all would have joked about Pakhis beizatti and moved on. What made a difference this time around is Sais breakdown and Virat missing🙄. This is definitely a prelude to suicide track since they are showing how Sai is breaking down with all the mental stress.

Yesterday Sai was completely going in a different tangent . Either she is unable to deal with all the new emotions she is feeling for her Virat sir and Pakhi constantly targetting her with no big support. Also Virat has never openly reprimanded Pakhi nor asked her not to intefere in their matters infront of Sai until today per my recollection. All this may be causing her mental break down and she must have felt if she gives up her rights Pakhi will back off🤔. Poor Sai doesn't know that Pakhi is a Leach and will continue sucking her energy until she starts ignoring her and her nonsensical questions. I don't even know why Sai has to even answer her so called questions. Clearly pakhi told her you are no one to ask me any question, why doesn't the same apply for Sai,🤔

Well I will stop ranting. As long as they get TRPs nothing will change.

Yes, but I hope next week's will be high because that will be the TRP for Sairat episodes! The TRP next next week (saree drama mostly) I hope falls below 2! It has been decreasing since last 3 week!

Here the people going Scott free talk about..khandaan..izzat.. family values ... Sharm ..laaj..and follow anything but that..and ofcourse dadi had to see the repercussions of her belief system too many times.. and her growth was a process..

Not much to add , but why show Virat as a top IPS officer when his wife is being mentally abused day in and day out. Why not make Virat guess that Pakhi will create another drama because of the silly Saree. What did he think when Pakhi said I have to tell Badi Mami🤔. And based on KD syllabus he won't even know about all the abuse she went through. How can they even show him as an intelligent IPS officer when he cannot gauge why Sais behavior changed in 2 days 🤦. Any spouse would try to find out the reason instead of going into insecurity mode( purely based on regional show, I don't know what happens here) forgetting the same wife was hugging him and crying 🤦.

Why always show Virat being so soft with Pakhi and c gang when they keep insulting Sai but ask her to speak softly to the same folks🙄. So the wrong doers will never get caught nor punished , but Sai and Virat will keep suffering through out and this is entertainment 🤮🤮.
