I wonder if this is even near to Amrita Pritam character then Amrit has to have children from her husband and after separating from husband (say death) she spent the last 40 years of her life with another man (say Prem) who was an artist.
They can go this way too.
Let's forget about the careers of the men and the divorce part (will consider divorce as death herein the show)
Amrit Pritam's life
The last 40 years Amrit Pritam lived in the same house with Imroz . He loved Amrit immensely and considered her kids as his own. They never married. He was her support system and the best part is in one of the articles I read there Imroz has said they never had a physical relationship.
So basically If Amrit's character is based on Amrit Pritam, Amroo needs to have a kid from her husband. A& R will live under the same roof, but will never truly unite.
P. S. Pritam is Amrit's husband's name, she never changed it even after her divorce😆
