So.. Coming to the update, ready enjoyed it. How Anokhi is organised in her life can never be equal to how Shaurya is with his 😎 She's a sweetheart & I really liked when she stopped to answer Aastha's call. First I felt she'll ask her to make Shaurya talk to her as well but it didn't happen but the next call confirmed it 😆
Poor Anokhi, I chuckled at her situation. Shaurya is a smooth lame a** 😂 It was so nice of Aastha to make both kids eat dahi shakkar & I felt Shaurya might not walk towards Anokhi, given their previous issue but when he saw her tearing up, I knew he had a change of heart.
Also considerate of him to watch out for her, then walk with her. He's slowly warming up to the girl & Anokhi had to be surprised 😆 Last night he was someone else & today, he's totally different 🤣🤣🤣 The metri journey till the campus was an interesting read 😊
Waiting to know how their story unfolds further in the campus, I hope Shaurya won't poke her unwillingly like he didn't in the morning though the precap is quite odd 😆
Stay safe!
Heya,
@bold- but Anokhi will teach him, right?😂 Vo bhi ache se...😉
@green- yeah! Aastha knows about Shaurya's views towards Anokhi, so for the time being, she will try to avoid bringing them face to face or forcing them to have a conversation.
@red- no doubt.😂
@blue- I love Aastha's character in the show and her bond with Anokhi. So, I want to keep this element in the story as well. ❤❤ As for Shaurya, yes he has some childish- issues with Anokhi, but he is good at heart. Also, he is way too sensitive and .....something else that will be revealed in the coming chapters. Be ready for some surprise.😁😁
@orange- exactly! 😂😂 He has become soft towards her. Let's see how Anokhi will react after finding the reason behind it. Also, the metro journey was inspired by my metro ride to the college.😂😂
@yellow- do you really think so? 😂😂
Thank you so much for the feedback. Love
reading them every time.❤❤
Take care.😇
Nice one...they have resolved their little problem...liked their interaction ...very natural👍😊🌹
Looking forward to the orientation & the update to your other ff as well...take care💖🙏
Thank you for the feedback.❤
@green - you will enjoy it for sure.😂

Waiting for their orientation
Cont soon
@bold- 😂😂 Yeah! He is 24, want to become independent and responsible but isn't able to leave his lazy side or 'i don't care' attitude behind him. This is one of the reasons that he doesn't like to be addressed as something that makes him feel like a grown-up. Because even in his own eyes, he is still a child. 😅😅
@red- it will be worth waiting for. 😉
Thank you for the review.❤❤
The update is in the works. I will try updating it by tomorrow night or maximum by Friday morning. 😃
Thank you for your patience. 😇❤

Chapter 6: Orientation
Note: Monologues are in bold.
***
Anokhi and Shaurya reached the auditorium where the orientation was to take place. A few staff members guided them inside and explained to them about the seating arrangements. The auditorium was divided into two halves, with a staircase in between. The right side was reserved for the masters' batches while the left side was to be occupied by the undergraduate freshers.
Climbing up the few stairs, they parted their ways and Anokhi made herself comfortable on one of the corner seats in the third row to avoid any social company on the first day. Whereas, Shaurya was busy on his phone and got seated on one of the middle seats of the fourth row.
The auditorium started to fill with students and teachers. There were still some minutes left for the orientation to start. Anokhi switched her phone to silent mode and started to look around the huge auditorium with fascination. Her school in Kapurthala didn't have an auditorium or any hall for that matter. She had only seen these in the private schools which she used to visit for her inter-school competitions.
Seeing the stage, the curtains, the podium, and the lighting, Anokhi made her mind to participate in the college competitions as much as she can. She couldn't just live with this ambivert nature for her whole life. The teachers won't be here to limit the interaction with students as it happened in her school time. She needed to open up and grab every chance without paying much attention to her social anxieties. She needed to live her college life to the fullest.
On the other side, Shaurya was busy texting Yash and Aahir about the boring 1 or 2 hours that he was going to face all alone. Why the hell did he need an orientation anyway? He knew all about this college, the facilities, courses, etc., hell he knew more than anyone. But still, on his dad's persistence, he has to attend it.
The lights dimmed indicating the start of the event, and Anokhi straightened herself with a shine in her eyes, while Shaurya rolled his eyes on being glared at by the faculty for using the phone. He quickly texted a "bye" to his friends and stuffed the phone inside his pocket. Sighing, Shaurya shifted his gaze to the stage as a student dressed in formals made his way towards the podium.
The orientation started with some greetings and welcoming of the guests, and it was just 10 minutes when Anokhi sensed somebody taking a seat beside her. She frowned on being disturbed by this latecomer but then quickly moved her focus back on the stage.
The host was lining up the speech with the praises of the faculty, the prizes bagged by the college, the toppers, and the new donations that had come their way in the past 2 years. Though it was boring for some students, Anokhi listened to it very carefully and was sure to add more to the list with her participation.
A few minutes later, a white light from the seat beside her gained her attention, and Anokhi glared at the intruder. It was a guy who was yawning and scrolling through his Instagram feed, completely uninterested in the event.
"Excuse me."
The guy turned his face in her direction, and mistaking her stare as an expression of flirt, he grinned and extended his hand for a handshake, "Hii, I'm Kabir."
Anokhi gawked at him, completely taken aback by this sudden introduction.
"What?" Kabir was puzzled seeing the daggers she was throwing at him.
Calming herself, Anokhi whispered as politely as she could, "Can you please stop using your phone?"
"What?" Kabir did not see this coming.
Anokhi's patience was dripping "This is not a place for you to check out food pages on Instagram. Please, if you are not interested in the orientation, then take your phone and make yourself out."
"Woahh!! Chill yaar. Itna gussa!" Kabir threw his hands in the air as if surrendering to her anger.
Anokhi narrowed her eyes at his drama while Kabir sighed "Phone se problem ho rahi hai? Okay fine! I won't use it." and the phone went into his bag. "Happy?"
Without replying to him, Anokhi crossed her arms and shifted her attention to the stage where the director was giving a welcome address.
A few moments later, she heard him shuffling around in his seat "Hey bhagwan! Kya problem hai iss ladke ko. Na khud shaanti se baith raha hai orr na mujhe focus karne de raha hai." After a few seconds, Anokhi heard him crunching on some biscuits, and then she saw him offering one to her.
Kabir sensed her irritation and chuckled "Arey le lo. Zeher nahi hai ismei."
Anokhi passed him a 'no-thank you look' and he shrugged munching on the biscuit, "Your loss"
The facilitation ceremony was followed by some folk - dance performances, and to Anokhi's relief, the guy, whatever his name was, didn't disturb her much. But it didn't last long when shockingly, he leaned towards her and whispered "Yaar kitna boring program hai. Tumhe itna interest kaise aa rha hai?"
Anokhi didn't respond to him and scooted closer to the wall but Kabir didn't budge "Vaise..miss..tumne apna naam nahi btaya."
That was it! Anokhi snapped. "Listen mister, tumhe samjh nahi aa rha ki mujhe tumse baat karne mei koi interest nahi hai? Please stay on your side of the seat and mind your own business" She pointed a finger at him while Kabir's eyes widened seeing her all flared up.
He shook his head, adjusting himself on the seat "You are crazy". Anokhi ignored his comment as she was relieved on finally putting an end to this thing.
***
Shaurya almost fell asleep during the speeches and dance performances so he tried to divert himself by looking around when his eyes fell on Anokhi who was yelling at some guy. How did he know, you ask? Well, her expressions said it all. And top of it, he had witnessed this first hand in the morning.
He was amused to see someone else getting a taste of it, but wondered the reason behind the same. What possibly could a stranger do in about 45 minutes for having a piece of her anger? Whatever it was, it did manage to kill his sleepiness.
The orientation was coming to an end, and the projector started playing a short movie on the big white screen on the stage. It was a virtual tour of the whole campus: showing the playgrounds, classrooms, labs, sports room, common rooms, canteens, stands, etc. Anokhi's eyes sparkled the moment she saw the library and was blown away by the size and beauty of it. She was finding it difficult to hold herself back from sprinting straight away to the library.
This was the first session of the whole event that both Kabir and Shaurya were enjoying. Their eyes vaguely shifted to Anokhi and a smile curved their lips seeing her excitement.
The tour was followed by the introduction to the extracurricular societies of the college and the heads of the same who would personally contact them to explain the roles of their respective societies, by coming to their classrooms. Some handouts were provided in the end and they were asked to move to their respective classrooms.
The lights went on and Kabir immediately looked at Anokhi, hoping to make a conversation while she just ignored him, stood up from her seat, and made her way towards the exit. He tried catching up to her but missed her in the crowd.
***
Anokhi was in the corridor, her eyes fixated on the handout. She was trying to figure out the complicated timetable when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She gasped and whirled around only to find Shaurya smiling down at her. She heaved a breath of relief as she thought that it was the guy from the auditorium.
"Kya hua?" Shaurya asked seeing her tensed.
"Uhh..kuch nahi. Mai vo...yeh timetable ..han timetable samjhne ki koshish kar rahi thi. Kuch samjh hi nahi aa rha hai.... Rows...colums..sab itne mixed up hai. Orr mujhe toh yeh bhi samjh nahi aa rha ki ismei se meri class konsi hai.." Anokhi explained in one go.
Shaurya laughed "It's okay! Let me see..mai samjha deta hu".
Though Anokhi was sceptical about taking his help, she didn't want to be late for her first class so she handed him the brochure.
Shaurya glanced at it and explained "See, these two pages are for the masters' batches. And this one, here..it is for your batch. The classes are allotted according to your enrolment numbers. What's yours?"
"03861144156"
"okay..look..here" Anokhi craned her neck a little to reach his height while Shaurya looked at this amused. He moved the paper down to her eye level and Anokhi passed him an embarrassing smile.
Shaurya shook his head and continued explaining "Here from 010--- to 040-----, your number falls in this range, so accordingly... uhh.. yeah.. here... this is your timetable. And here at the top, you can see the floor number and your section as well. Got it?"
Anokhi nodded with a smile "Thank you so much"
"You're welcome" He gave her back the brochure.
"Okay! So, bye...all the best!" Anokhi ended the conversation as just 10 minutes were left for her class to start.
"Bye ..all the best" Shaurya wished her back. Anokhi watched him leaving and then entering a class on the ground floor only. She smiled and made her way to the staircase as her class was on the first floor.
***
Anokhi took a deep breath as she stood at the doorstep of her class - BCOM (Honours) -1A. She peeped inside and found some 20 students sitting across the room; some were busy making new friends while the others were busy on their phones. Anokhi noticed that the two rows in the front were left empty and the backbenches were all occupied.
She shook her head at the mindset of the students, but was happy to have the front seat all to herself. She walked inside without coming to the notice of any student and made herself comfortable on the front seat of the middle row.
Within 5 minutes, the whole class was filled with students and Anokhi's heartbeat started accelerating. As anticipated she saw a girl walking in, looking around perhaps for an empty seat and then taking a seat beside her. However, Anokhi avoided initiating any conversation by focusing on her wrist watch, praying for the lecturer to arrive.
But as soon as the girl stuffed her bag inside the desk, she turned to Anokhi and extended her hand for a handshake "Hii, I'm Reema."
Anokhi too turned to her and introduced herself by shaking her hand "Hii, I'm Anokhi".
Reema smiled "Wow! Unique name". Anokhi smiled back and the lecturer arrived before Reema could ask her anything else.
For the first 5 minutes, the professor welcomed them and introduced herself and the subject that she was going to teach. When she was going to start the introduction of the chapter, a knock on the door interrupted the whole class and the door clicked open. Anokhi's mouth made a perfect "O" as she looked at the late arrival. It was the same guy from the auditorium.
Kabir apologized "I'm sorry ma'am. I wasn't able to understand the timetable. I had to stop and take help from a teacher, that's why I got late"
The lecturer nodded and let him in. Kabir grinned and his grin turned wider on seeing Anokhi who quickly averted her gaze. Without wasting a second, he settled himself on the seat behind her while Anokhi groaned inwardly and concentrated on the lecture.
The professor asked them to make a team of two or three members and prepare a presentation on their views on "Management" with some real-life examples. It was important for both the subject as well as for the bonding of the students. Moreover, college life was full of presentations and exposure, so it was better to start on the first day itself.
***
Shaurya was pacing outside his classroom as the lecturer was late, and also he was not interested to indulge in new friendships. He already had Aahir, and Yash who were more like brothers to him and they had been together since school time. There was no place for somebody new in their group or need for that matter.
Moreover, he hated people who would just come into their life, take advantage, and then leave when their purpose is fulfilled and he knew he was going to get only these kinds of temporary friendships in here.
He was on his phone texting Aastha about the orientation when he bumped into someone, "I'm sorry"
"It's okay" Shaurya looked up and his eyes widened seeing the familiar face "Shagun?"
"Shaurya? Oh my god! Hiii..." and she gave him a quick hug.
He gulped "What the hell is she doing here?"
"Tum..tum ...yahan...kya..kya kar rahi ho?" Shaurya stuttered, feigning a fake smile.
"Please god, please...yeh apne dad se milne aay ho. Please!"
"Shaurya yeh college hai...so obviously I'm here to study."
"oh no!" and Shaurya started regretting his decision of joining SIAC in Delhi.
"Good! Which course?"
"Please don't say MBA"
"MBA"
"Shoot!"
"What about you?"
"MBA" Shaurya replied, his pretense fading away.
"Great! Which class?" Shagun's voice turned into a high pitch tone indicating how happy she was.
"This one" Shaurya pointed at his class.
"Really? Same here." Shagun almost jumped with joy.
"KILL ME!"
"Wow Shaurya! Hum firse ek saath padhenge. It will be so much fun. School ke baad toh humara contact hi toot gya tha. But I'm glad that we met again."
"Shaurya beta, tu toh gya... Aahir, please ab Delhi aa jaa. Mai akele handle nahi kar paunga ise"
"Shaurya? Kahan kho gye? Let's go inside. We have a lot to catch up on" Shagun held his hand, dragging him to the classroom.
Shaurya stood still and pulled his hand out of her hold"Yeah! Tum chalo..mai ata hu"
"Okay! I will hold the seat for you" Shagun smiled and went inside while Shaurya immediately texted his friends about this new development.
***
The lecture ended within 45 minutes and it was break time. Anokhi grabbed her bag and almost ran out of the classroom but Reema followed her and caught her on the staircase
"Hey! Where are you going? Canteen?"
"No. I'm going to the library"
"What about lunch?"
"I will have lunch after borrowing a few books."
"Oh okay! Can I join you? If you don't mind."
"Yeah, sure!" Anokhi was quite pleased to see Reema's sweet nature. She didn't even disturb her throughout the class. Anokhi saw a potential friend in her and thought of asking about making the presentation together.
"Me too" They heard a male voice from behind and Anokhi knew who it was. So she turned and with a stern face, declined "No!"
Kabir came running to her "Arey par kyu? Listen, I know we got off on the wrong foot, and I'm sorry for that. But please can we start afresh? I promise, I won't trouble you and I will keep my mouth zipped until you initiate the talk."
He made a puppy face while Reema was unable to understand the context of the conversation. Anokhi looked at Reema who shrugged and then at Kabir who mouthed a 'please'.
Sighing, she gave in."Okay! Fine. But please stay in your limits."
Kabir nodded with a salute "Yes ma'am!" Reema laughed and Kabir winked at her making her all flustered.
"So, let's start again. Hii, I'm Kabir..and you are?" This time Kabir didn't extend his hand making Anokhi smile. "Anokhi"
"Right! Nice name." He then turned to the other side "And you are..?"
"Reema" and she shook hands with him.
***
Reema and Kabir stood in a corner as Anokhi took the tour of the library. The library was two-storied and had a few table-chairs on the ground floor whereas the first floor only had a few couches. The walls were covered with floral wallpapers and had various large paintings and quotes hanging on them. It also had a separate section for e-readers with some computers and kindles.
Each step that Anokhi took had a certain bounce to it as she went from one bookshelf to the other. Her eyes twinkled as she browsed through the several collections, and the available genres. It not only had academic books and journals but also a separate passage for the novel section.
Anokhi was taking her own good time when Kabir decided to take a look as well while Reema got busy filling up the form for the library card. He spotted Anokhi who was managing some 4 to 5 not-so-thin books all by herself and still trying to take out few books from the top rack.
He offered to help her"May I?"
Anokhi was surprised to see him."No thanks"
Kabir shook his head with disbelief not understanding the reason behind her cold attitude"Itni si toh ho tum..kitni books sambhalogi?" Anokhi glared at him.
Before she could burst at him again, Kabir apologised "Acha sorry! Please let me help you"
"Fine!" Anokhi rolled her eyes and stuffed all the books in his hand making him almost lose his balance.
She then took the stool and pulled out the psychology book from the top shelf. Whereas Kabir tried to balance the heavy books and followed her to the other bookshelf.
"Vaise...Tum topper shopper ho kya? First day library kon ata hai." Anokhi picked up another book but didn't respond to him as she made her way to the counter.
***
When the librarian was scanning codes on the books Anokhi got busy in filling up the forms.
"Oh! Hii." Anokhi turned to find Shaurya who was panting heavily.
"Hey!" She replied confused.
Shaurya looked around as if checking something and then turned to her "First-day...library?"
Kabir interrupted "Maine bi isse yahi poocha lekin..." He stopped as Anokhi passed him a look to shut up making Shaurya gasp with surprise.
He presumed him to be the same guy who was getting yelled at in the auditorium. "Quick progress. Interesting."
"Han... I like to read, and this library is just so beautiful. Couldn't help myself from coming here" Anokhi answered admiring the library.
"Thanks" Shaurya smiled. After all, it was him who designed the interior.
"Huh?" Anokhi knew it was his college but wasn't sure if he wanted to reveal it.
Shaurya glanced at her friends and not wanting to disclose his identity, he covered up. "No...kuch nahi."
"Aapka bhi toh first day hai... toh aap yahan?"
"Yeah! I have some paperwork to complete...isliye" Truth be told, he was escaping from Shagun who, to his dismay, wanted to have lunch with him.
"Miss., your books. Return them after a month, otherwise, you will be charged with a fine." The librarian interrupted.
"Okay! Thank you..." Anokhi took her books and then turned to Shaurya "bye"
"Bye" Reema and Kabir also chipped in.
"Bye!" Shaurya chuckled seeing Anokhi almost running out of the library with her friends trying to catch up to her.
***
The Trio was sitting on a Circular table in the Garden area: -
"So..who was this good-looking guy?" Reema poked as Anokhi was packing the books in her bag.
"My neighbor."
"Tum mujhse bhi aise hi baat kar liya karo. Maine kya bigada hai tumhara?" Kabir questioned as if he was hurt.
"Han Anokhi. Almost adha ghanta hogya hai orr kabse hum dono hi bole jaa rahe hai. Tumne muskhil se 10 words bole honge."
Anokhi sighed and turned to them "You guys..listen. I don't have a problem with any of you. Reema you are very sweet, I like you. ..And Kabir, you know how we met right? It has hardly been two hours; I need some time yar. Also, I don't do friendships so easily, especially with boys."
Kabir and Reema looked at each other and started laughing confusing Anokhi "Arey tu toh serious hogy. Hum mazak kar rahe the. Tujhe jitna time lena hai le. Tab takk Reema orr mai hi kaafi hai tujhe pakane ke liye" Kabir exclaimed and Reema agreed "Han Anokhi. Thanks for sharing this with us. We are ready to give you the space you need."
Anokhi was amazed to see their level of understanding. But now it was her turn to take a step forward. "Thank you. Lunch kare? Orr presentation ka bhi discuss kar lete hai." She suggested making them beam with happiness.
In the canteen: -
"So...Shaurya..any girlfriends?" Shagun asked as she dipped the straw in her cold coffee.
"WHAT? NO!" Shaurya looked at her bewildered. He had almost managed to hide from her but got caught when he was on the phone with Aahir.
"Arey ismei itna shock hone wali konsi baat hai? ...Tum kafi badal gye ho..I mean for the good. You have grown into a handsome man. So I thought koi girlfriend toh hogi hi." Shagun held his hand but he immediately shrugged it off. "uhh..thanks..but no."
"Tum kuch nahi puchoge? Kabse mai hi bole jaa rahi hu"
"Shagun vo..." He started when the bell went off announcing the end of the break "Oh thank god!"..."Let's go"
***
The day ended around 2 pm. Kabir went home on his bike while Reema and Anokhi walked to the metro station. Reema's station was five stops before Anokhi's and so she asked her to meet at 8:30 the next morning so that they could go to the college together. Anokhi was pleased with this idea and agreed to it. Reema got off at her station and then within some 20 minutes, Anokhi reached her stop.
She was going towards the elevator when she slipped onto some liquid, perhaps water, and fell on the floor. Her foot got sprained and she pulled herself up with great difficulty. Somehow, she managed her way to the exit and slumped down on the nearby bench. Some tears leaked from her eyes as she massaged her feet by taking off her shoes. After a few minutes, Anokhi tied back her shoelaces, motivating herself to buckle up and return to the apartment.
She took tiny steps to the flat and was on the last stair of her floor when she spotted Shaurya opening the lock of his flat. She assumed he took the cab otherwise they would have met in the metro or on the way home. Anokhi went to her flat and leaned on the door as she searched through her bag for the keys.
Opening the lock, Shaurya turned to her "How was your first day?"
"It was..it was good!" Anokhi answered still shuffling through her bag. Her voice cracked in between due to the pain, making Shaurya confuse. He scanned her face and saw some tears in her eyes.
Recalling the morning incident he asked concerned "Are you Okay?"
Anokhi found the keys and looked at him "Yeah! Why?"
"You are crying...so.."
"oh..actually.."
"Listen don't get me wrong." Shaurya interrupted and went to her "Maine subah dekha tha..you were crying when I was talking with mom . And then in the garden area too. I don't mean to interfere in your personal life but are you alright? Are you facing any problem adjusting here?"
Anokhi narrowed her eyes as she took in his words and realization dawned upon her as she recalled the sudden change in his behavior "toh isliye aapne vo sab kiya?"
Shaurya was confused, he opened his mouth to ask when Anokhi continued, her voice dripping with dejection "Mujhse maafi maangna...itna sweetly baat karna....orr college mei meri help karna. Aap yeh sab isliye kar rahe the because you felt sorry for me?"
Shaurya was baffled "What? No!"
But Anokhi dismissed his denial to her assumptions "Wow! Orr mai soch rahi thi ki aapko sachh mei apni galti ka ehsaas hai. Ki aap yeh sab genuinely meri help karne ke liye kar rahe hai... Lekin mai toh bhool hi gy thi ki aap vo insaan hai jise mujhse itni problem thi ki mujhe ignore karne ke liye apne hi ghar se bahar rehne lage."
"Anokhi..tum galat samjh rahi ho. Aisa kuch nahi hai.." Shaurya started to get offended but tried to keep his voice low.
Anokhi's eyes started brimming with tears, her mind replaying his sweet gestures in the morning and then in the college. But alas, now it didn't mean anything because he did it out of sympathy, the thing that she hated the most. She hated seeing people's eyes turning soft on seeing her cry, being pitied at for her past.
The sorry faces of her relatives flashed in front of her eyes and Anokhi's voice turned harsh as she yelled "No MR. SHAURYA SABHARWAL. Mai sab sahi samjh rahi hu. Apko mere upar taras aa rha tha isliye apne meri help kari. But listen to me very carefully, I don't need your sympathy. Samjhe aap? Mai rakh sakti hu apna khayal..reh sakti hu akele .. muje.. muje..kisi ki zarurat nahi hai..." She started stuttering. Her own words triggering some deja-vu moments.
Shaurya lost his cool and instantly grabbed her arms, his eyes raging with fury as he yelled back
"Shut up..just shut up okay! Kuch bhi bole jaa rahi ho tum. Han mai manta hu ki jo kuch Chandigarh mei maine kiya vo galat tha..rude tha. I'm SORRY for that.....orr kal jo kuch hua uske liye BHI mujhe apni galti ka ehsaas tha, isliye maine tumse maafi maangi.....My apology was genuine, it was not out of sympathy. Maine tumhari help isliye kari because i wanted to, not because you needed it..."
Anokhi flinched at his tone, and her hand moved to his collar as she felt her knees giving up. She realised that she had said a little too much but wasn't able to keep herself in focus to say the same.
Shaurya's hold on her arm turned lose as he said "Lekin mai bhi kise samjha raha hu...tum raho akele...and now I mean it don't ever talk to me. Got it?"
Shaurya's last words hit her hard and some whisperings from the past started to ring in her ears.
"You are on your own" he smirked
"Marr gye tere papaji.."
"Tu kalank hai humare parivaar par"
"Marr kyu nahi jaati hu? Kahan se lati hai itni himmat..."
"Tujse humara koi vaasta nahi..ab iss band kamre mei tu akele rahegi. Tu kisi se nahi milegi. Samjhi?"
Anokhi started shivering under his hold and her face turned pale. She started screaming, gasping for breath "no..no..no....". Shaurya was shocked to see this sudden change, her anxiety reminding him of the night he met her.
His eyes turned to that of concern as he shook her "Anokhi..Anokhi...kya hua..?" but his voice fell to deaf ears and Anokhi's screams became louder, her hold on his collar started loosening up but Shaurya kept her steady by tightening his grip.
The pain in her feet and the worst memories of her past made a fatal combination and Anokhi fainted in his arms.

|| Precap: "Don't leave, stay here." Anokhi murmured in her sleep that made Shaurya re-visit some beautiful old memories. ||
