You should definitely give it watch n see if u like it. It’s a promising start imo. The second half of the first was better than the first. First half was a little boring. It was basically setting the scene so it was understandable.

He is Khawaja Sajjad Paul. He was a part of Ameer Gilani's 1st show Log Kia Kahenge as Sabeena's brother who married her best friend and died. 😃 He acted in few other dramas. I didn't watch any of his earlier dramas, but I got impressed by his acting in Ishq Hai. This is why I searched even before you asked.😳

Nimra and Haaris don't understand the meaning of love. They both want Shahzeb and Isra respectively in their lives as trophies, as if it's a damn competition. Haaris is definitely a creep, I hate how he thinks he has some sort of authority to talk that "romantic" stuff to Isra. Urgh, Isra's family comes across as educated, its surprising they agreed to such a guy.

I must say, how could Isra be so stupid? She committed herself to Shahzeb, spoke about marriage and a family with him. In the previous episode, Isra said she would die if she ended up getting married to Haaris. Did she not realize what a huge step Shahzeb took because of her words to him? Shahzeb put every damn thing on the line for her, he stood up for his love in front of his family and hers, and she walked away? After committing to him?

I cannot blame Shahzeb anywhere in this scenario. He was clear he did not want to marry Nimra at any cost and that his heart belonged to someone else. But because of his mother's ego, everyone is suffering. And Raza...damn he is as selfish and shallow as his mother. Shahzeb runs the entire business while he lazes around and never said a damn word to him. Now, how dare he says his brother is selfish? When all Shahzeb has only had one wish, to marry the woman of his dreams. That one scene where he nearly breaks down in front of his mother and has tears in his eyes was heart-wrenching.

Speaking of selfish...Isra's sister-in-law is gajab. Such a huge scene happened and all she is worried about is her reception? Does she not realise she is a part of her husband's family now and there are situations much more important than her reception. All those dreams she had, could be fulfilled after some days. They could have done another function, but no, she is adamant on having her "dream". I doubt she even considers herself a part of the family. I felt terrible for Isra's brother, he is stuck in such an awkward situation.

Raza is the worst kind of brother one can have honestly. Its better not to have a sibling than to have one like him. The definition of a spoilt brat. I can't believe he had the freaking audacity to tell Shahzeb "how dare you work here after creating a scene last night". He is the selfish one, Shahzeb is the rational one.

The one-on-one conversation between Isra and her sister-in-law was so disturbing. All those taanas were sickening. The sister-in-law is borderline narcissist, I am already hoping Isra's brother divorces her in later episodes.

Its basically both the families having their own stupid ego clashes and over emotional thoughts. Both Shahzeb and Isra belong to good families, no one should have had a problem with their union. Falling in love is a crime now

And the phone conversation between Isra and Shahzeb...nothing she said made any sense. It felt like she was coming up with points just to break up with him. How could she accuse him of cheating?! Everything that he did was wrong now? And the fact she gave up on her love so easily? She left him and he got himself insulted in front of her family and his own. Utter nonsense. She abandoned him, when all he needed was her support. Thus...begins his descent into madness.

I must say Danish is doing such a great job. I am so glad he is getting such shows and the recognition he deserves. Having watched three of his shows back-to-back now, I love how nothing is repetitve, even though two of his characters have similar shades of grey. Shahzeb has definitely won me over and now he lives in my brain rent free 😳❤️

Also I have to disagree with the u on the point that shahzeb is faultless. He possibly could not have picked a worse time to take isra to his mom. He ruined so many lives. His own, his brother’s, nimra, nimra’s sister, his mom, isra, n isra’s family. A better thing to do if the mother wasn’t listening would have been to talk to nimra n tell her the situation before hand. It’s not like he never knew nimra was interested in him. She leaves flowers in his room. How much more clear does it need to be for him to understand. He should’ve told her he likes someone else. If he knew n properly didn’t reject her then that his fault again.

I don't think Shahzeb was left with an option. Had he not taken Isra, he would have been married off to Nimra. Had he spoken to Nimra, she would've gone and filled her parents' ears in a way that they would not back down and then indirectly pressured Shahzeb's mom for the same. I don't see her as someone who understood the severity of the situation. And he could not talk and reason with his mom and brother, because he got no support the first time.

Shahzeb knew Nimra was interested in him and chose not to pay attention. He must have considered it to be a childhood crush. I don't think he ever expected there would be a wedding planned without his consent. And Nimra's sister and Raza were to get married anyway, there was no term set at that time about Shahzeb and Nimra. Nimra also admitted that "main patti padhai dono behenein raaj karenge ghar pe".

If anything, he was getting piso-ed from all ends. Mom and brother weren't listening, Nimra and her family were on board with the wedding and an unusual term was set that both sisters were to marry both brothers, Isra was saying things like I will die if I have to get married elsewhere. Too much crap from all ends, and no support at all. Had he had one close friend, things would be different. Coz Shahzeb did what he thought was the best and he's had no perspective.

His mother and brother for sure are the most thankless individuals. The mother just fixed a wedding of a fully grown man without his consent. Not even once did it come to her mind that she should talk to the person in question? The son might be obedient, but this is a life-defining decision.

The fact that the elder son is working, getting the money in the house while the younger one is lounging about in the pool (clothes on 😆) and only thinking about his marriage does show what kind of a person he is. My closest friend's father and uncle are exactly like this. The uncle did nothing in life and got everything because of the father, and if the father were to put his family before for some decisions, he would become the bad guy.

Peeps, has no one watched it other than Gobi and me? 😲
