I doubt Vicky is some innocent man and probably older than he is saying...but we don't know. I understand a lot of Indian men are treated like whatever they do is okay and they are forever young in BW. Unfortunately, you are right to an extent. Indian parents are also very judgmental about who their sons date....if they even are okay with that...
