Deba cries differently than other ITV actresses I've noticed since the beginning of the show. There's a cuteness & whereas I either skip or go meh at other actresses, she's the only character who's crying is adoring material 😳 Lighting was crap, her makeup was toned down I guess but still, the bronze & yellow shades were seen 😳 Its sad that they are on og sets yet the lighting, editing (there were always editing issues 🤣), makeup & stuff are disappointing 🤡

Yeah exactly She's in love & its adorable how she's tensed. I admired her straightforwardness from the start. At matters of heart she's new & getting used to but otherwise she's been strong-willes. People in general are stupid I suppose, a/c to my pov though no offence

People can be stupid. It's okay. It keeps them going. But you see people can be confused and messy and still react in a certain way.

A way that is more relatable.

One thing that always works for Nikki's character is that she is pretty relatable even when she messes up. Her way to express and her way of ignorance both.

You know even during the riots misunderstanding when she wouldn't hear and acted in a certain manner towards Shuarya, although my heart felt sad for Shara Bear but I could still relate to Nikki.

The way she used to say things.

And then her conversation with Mr Bhalla is another thing. Relatable again.

In a way.

And you know now even when I try to excuse the dialogues that they can be poetic and OTT just for the heck of it, I can't because isn't that the exact thing that would never work for SAAKK?

You see when we take pride in the fact that our show is anything but typical and the way we do things is normal. And normal is good. Because it is different from every other thing we get to see. So when they go ahead showing a character like Anokhi acting dumb and not understanding what is going on and then appreciate this kind of 'surprise' maybe it works for the drama but it definitely doesn't work for the characters.

It messes up with what these characters are shown to believe in.

So you know it feels like a personal loss. Like it makes me sad because I am invested. And it leaves me salty.

Ikr? That dialogue & there was another I don't remember, I was mayhaps surprised? Topper lines by both ShaKhi sounded weird to me.. 😄😄 Cringe na sahi I was taken aback for the ajeeeb- ness in it 🤣

Ajeebness? Bro it was so weird. And they didn't even spare shaurya...like what was that line yesterday? Is sabarwaal ke pyaar ka rang bhi ziddi hai. I was like professor saab please.

And hands down Deba is my favorite actress till now when it comes to crying. Adorable. ❤️

So you know what..today when I agree to you it really hurts me personally.

To agree that things are changing and I can't ignore it.

Although I loved the sindoor episodes and then whatever confrontation Tez manipulation brought to the story but if I go by the vibe that in what reference you are saying it, I can't help but agree.

I'll keep re-watching the older episodes to remind myself that this show was capable of so much more but anyway....

I can't personally relate to her povs (I love Anokhi, this is not about that 😆) because I've never been through any of the issues she has had, whether its having a toxic household overall, then her struggle to come to Chandigarh & finally all that happened at SIAC. She's strong but a different kind of strong. If I explain rather easily its like we all have our own problems na? Big or small? But the way we tackle with them can be poles apart depending on our countries, cultural & livelihood backgrounds, people we have around us & circumstances 🤷🏻😊 As I said I love the girl! But on a personal level I don't find any similarities... She's an inspiration as a character ❤️

Her rant irked me later. Funny story. I mean the first time I watched episodes normally, I knew she was correct in her stance but then... when I started getting eager about Shaurya & Anokhi's bonding, I suddenly felt weird about 'Aastha ma'am, Aastha ma'am' rant on repeat watching. It felt like I was watching a Pooja or something 😆 We all are different human beings 🤘🏻😂

There goes my point Akanksha! 👍🏼 Its confusing every now & then. I mean to say it in an easier way hum sochte hai ye banda/bandi aisa nahi kahegi & next moment, he or she says what we thought they can't say & surprises us! That's the issue 🤪 Like ShaKhi, phool bharsaoing & that... ugh, ha... topper thing! 😂😂

I just love how there's nothing we can call way too ott. Some ott actions is fine but our show has some standards in that dept. Dhum tana nana & flash lights at your face scenes? They aren't there! 🤣🤣 Yeah, since we look at the characters, mainly leads critically, we tend to notice the changes in their everyday dialogues & characteristics. Like who would've thought that a** Shaurya Sabherwal would turn in to such a lover boy? 😆😳❤️ That's some beauty & obviously mere liye toh understandable hai & for you too I know since you love him a lot 🤭💜
