This is the same Dhara who did not tend to Shiva's burn even on humanitarian grounds but let Dev eat her food even after batwara. So this will tell you how much she cares about him and his self respect. She went to give kaada to Rishita but just like Suman asked why didn't Gaumbi do something to stop Dhara from beating the boys. If she thought about their self respect, she would not have hit them so hard in front of Rishita, a new addition to the family. Krish and Shiva did a grave mistake but the punishment did not fit the crime.

I am not sure who is not understanding you or me?

A lot of the people have only watched PS post marriage or leap, a good number of them solely watch for ShiVi(not bashing anyone, this is completely alright, just trying to give her some perspective), so they might not be as invested in GauRa.

As for the danda kaand… there is no justification for it…it was horrendous- but in real life no one really apologizes. It’s sad but true. This is NOT a social commentary show… it is about a fictional family. (I am talking from a place of experience. I have a lovely family, and I have been beaten maybe half as badly. Will probably never hear an apology for it. Still on talking and loving terms with said family 🤷‍♀️)

She is the most loved character. You would see strings of posts singing praises of her every relationship.

It's not Dhara vs everyone. All the characters in PS have flaws, and everyone receives equal flak for so. Like I have expressed time and again my hatred for Suman and her sexist, misogyny as well as her patriarchal mindset. I have bashed Gaumbi for his hypocrisy. Shiva for his violence, Dev for his inaction.

I don't understand why we should assume a criticism of a character flaw as bashing!

She sacrificed a lot; I would love her for that.

She did beat the shit out of Shiva and Krish; I would claw her for that.

There's also a comical element of Dhara which is discussed often.

I don't see anyone deliberately not understanding characters or glorifying wrong.

i did not compare forum member to rishita i compared mahanta dialogue

if you thought that i apologize my intention was never to offend

and i dont have any problem with difference of opinion i have problem with snarky remarks

see i have no problem with difference i am always up for a good debate my issues are with snarky remarks is it ok that i should be mocked just for difference of opnion??

i love shiva as mush as shiva i intially thought we were having a discussion till the mocking begin honestly that wasn uncalled for
