May be I am reading too much into this but it also showed that Rapi considers her like family.. or somewhere closer to Rupis own status in family…

like she would have been treated the same way as Imlie was.. making it more firm that Imlie is part of family even if temp obstacles make it seem she is not..

You are not reading too much into.it they have been keeping it this way ke.yeh sab treat her like they would the others but the things is and that doesn't work is imlie ain't a kid teenager oe haath nahi uthate humare haan and esp on girl children their is an age for that after that you only get daant..but yeah yeh toh ritu also said in her IV post return ke tfor them imlie is apni and apni khudki beti whole they always have had formality with Malini even though he was bahu.. and as we all have always said in discussions too
