I have more unread stories here than read because I can't keep up with all and then I don't really read much AU because Raghav and Pallavi are RaghVi with the traits you mentioned in your post. (I only read shots, no fan fictions).

So I want to tell the writers here, don't be disheartened if you get less likes and comments when you try AU it's not because your stories are not good enough but because a different Raghav and Pallavi with different character traits are not much fun to read because the real ones are perfect and we fans love them alot.

Ps: I was planning to post a AU fiction before this post. Now plan cancelled. 😆

Maybe I'm a minority here but I'm more of a sucker for AUs.

I love when someone can spin a really good AU. And I have always preferred it more.

Tbh I hardly read an OS which is continuation of a scene. I like to read an Alternate ending to the scene sometimes. But not much of continuation of what we see in the serial.

I like OS which have a different storyline and maybe a different universe too.

So I'll just say that I think you should go ahead and post that story. Maybe readers like me are in minority but we would love to read more works 🤗

As for the core characteristics go I'm again a minority. 😆

I don't mind an author changing characteristics of RaghVi tbh. If a story is well written I'll read it anyways 😳

AU is a good thing. A writer will have the liberty to twist and turn it any way they want. It also has lots of potential to develop. I used to read lots of fan fictions which were AUs but when it comes to Raghvi IDK why but I will prefer the real characters.

And even I too like an alternate story line with the same character but when it comes to different characteristics, I get bored easily.

I will try to give it a shot soon. 🤗

Great.

My mind is rigid in that way. I can read any good story as its own but if I m supposed to believe any story to be of known characters then I want them to behave like characters. As its the traits which makes anyone what and who they r not just a name. Any story can be good as individual write but if as a writer if u wanna use character not just the names then u should keep the core intact. TBH Its the job of a writer I feel.

Yes I get your point. That's why I said I'm a minority here 😆

Actually I read a lot of novels. And whenever whichever couple is my favourite at that time I'll just imagine them as those characters. So even if it's a different name I'll imagine the face of my favourite actor.

Ooooo now I know why I don't have a problem 🤣

Hence it's not hard for me to read an OS which has RaghVi with different characteristics. And maybe I enjoy them more cause I feel I'm reading something different rather than what I already know of them.
