That was super cringe and it scares me even more to think that show had really good trps 🤧🤧.

If it's the slot change then i I'll lose all hope of any intense scenes. Probably raavi will get pregnant after they drink bhaang and consummate and shiva won't even remember 😒😒😒

nahi aisa nahi kar sakte ye log....😕

do u think shiva felt bad? by what u posted I feel so....I feel he loves her from a long time after your this post....

I think more than his deliberation on whether he is in love or not; it was more like a terrible ground reality hitting Shiva on the face again. It was open to interpretation, but every second was a mega surge of emotions!

Shiva has seen and known only one marriage that was of Gaura. His idea and the notion of marriage is eternal love, companionship and respect.

Eternal love belonged to his brother.

Companionship was a frigid possibility

Respect was out of the question.

More than himself, he glances at the irony of fate that asked him to step into his brother’s shoes with a woman who was in love with someone else all her life!

Even before anyone else, he had seen the depths of her feelings for Dev when she wanted to die after her broken marriage. He was a changed man burdened with a sudden marriage and an emotionally fractured woman coupled with his sordid past of animosity.

He would never be the man she dreamed of. He said to Dev too, she dreamt of you and all she got was me.

You look up at me

And somewhere in your mind you see

A man I'll never be

If only I could find a way

I'd feel like I'm the man you believe I am

And it gets harder every day for me

To hide behind this dream you see

A man I'll never be

I can't get any stronger

I can't climb any higher

You'll never know just how hard I've tried

I thought Shivi had great potential from here onwards. Generally, ITV follows the trope of broken men being fixed by a woman. I would have loved it if it was the other way round.

Being in love is not a destination but a journey. Rashi had always been the object of his obsession.

Obsessions often heighten these emotions further, causing a person to fixate on their focus as though they are an object or possession.

Hence, you’d see Shiva pushing her around in fits of anger and when he is in a heightened state of anguish.

The hallmark of their relationship is consumption and ownership, especially with Shiva. It would end once he connects more emotionally with her rather than living in a parallel dimension of his emotions for her.

Another episode that I truly loved was when Shiva is unapologetic about his work and looks. The kind of comfort he harbours for himself is truly a vision!

Image

Just look at the way his eyes start twinkling 😎when talking about his work and Pandya Store.

Image

His choice, his rules!

Image

I loved how Raavi wanted to be there for him.

Comfortable in his own skin

I forgot to mention this scene.

One of my favs too.

Something meaningful instead of fall and protect scenes. Here they spoke properly and Shiva could keep his pov before her
