again a very awesome scene.....but den she loved dev and got everything for him....use kya pata ki everything will change for ever....
do u think shiva felt bad? by what u posted I feel so....I feel he loves her from a long time after your this post....
I think more than his deliberation on whether he is in love or not; it was more like a terrible ground reality hitting Shiva on the face again. It was open to interpretation, but every second was a mega surge of emotions!
Shiva has seen and known only one marriage that was of Gaura. His idea and the notion of marriage is eternal love, companionship and respect.
Eternal love belonged to his brother.
Companionship was a frigid possibility
Respect was out of the question.
More than himself, he glances at the irony of fate that asked him to step into his brother’s shoes with a woman who was in love with someone else all her life!
Even before anyone else, he had seen the depths of her feelings for Dev when she wanted to die after her broken marriage. He was a changed man burdened with a sudden marriage and an emotionally fractured woman coupled with his sordid past of animosity.
He would never be the man she dreamed of. He said to Dev too, she dreamt of you and all she got was me.
You look up at me
And somewhere in your mind you see
A man I'll never be
If only I could find a way
I'd feel like I'm the man you believe I am
And it gets harder every day for me
To hide behind this dream you see
A man I'll never be
I can't get any stronger
I can't climb any higher
You'll never know just how hard I've tried

I thought Shivi had great potential from here onwards. Generally, ITV follows the trope of broken men being fixed by a woman. I would have loved it if it was the other way round.
