Homophobia is not a tradition, its a mindset. A regressive mindset which needs to be eradicated.

I was talking about preserving and carrying forward good traditions..

Oh if we talk about CIA activities, we'll be here all day. They meddle in nearly every country. I'm sure there is a lot more than we know about. But whatever they do is ostensibly for the protection of America. If there is fallout from that, they're still not going to take responsibility in a way that harms America.

People *should* criticize but it won't change how they function. Every country's spy agency does the same things to the extent that they're actually able to.

Most of their early interventions in Guatemala were to keep the Communists out. The last time they were known to meddle was way back in 1996 when there was apparently human rights violations for which the CIA's chief of the Latin division had to resign. It's now 25 years later. How is the current caravan of people trying to get into the US related to that? (I'm basing this just on wiki because I don't have such clear knowledge about this)

Yes I do remember that.👍🏼..and that idiot Twinkle making fun of women observing Karwachauth....See the thing is if you are doing something out of ur own free will/faith ....no one should make fun of you if in the process you are not hurting yourself or anyone else...but if women today are not going to observe KC because they don't believe in it...I won't call it degradation...its just a change ...that is all.

People use religion and tradition as an excuse to justify homophobia(mindset would mean just being prejudiced) . Preserving of tradition and culture can be very easily used as a reason to justify the persecution of gays and not giving them rights ( also there is no universal agreement of what constitutes of good tradition).

Thanks you remember it! But then again you dont remember it completely. Even that time I mentioned about KC isnt just about keeping fast... Its just one element about it. KC has so much going over where everyone in family enjoys. From couples to their Kids, how family embraces traditions is what makes life worth living.

I wish I could find that post made I made time have no energy to write how I feel KC is anything but regressive.

KC is not regressive until a woman who doesn't want to observe it is forced to stay hungry and thirsty against her will....KC in itself is a beautiful tradition.

PS: Blue-Ice was there when I made that post Hope she remembers... If I am not wrong she appreciated it.

Twinkle is infuriating. I can't stand her. She's the same person who clicks a poor person sh*tting on the beach to make fun of him. As if he's there because he enjoys it and not because he's forced to be there due to his poverty. Same person who pretends to be liberal but shouted all over social media about Akshay's donation to that scam PM fund to make sure to get credit for it. And god knows how many people were duped into giving to that scam because of these two Ranga Billa.

This Karva Chauth thing reminds me of the fake war on Christmas stuff that Republicans push. If someone wants to willingly celebrate Karvachauth, fine and good for them. If they don't want to celebrate, good for them too. Who cares? There is no war on Karwa Chauth. It doesn't exist. But love acting victimized for no reason. Oh don't say "Happy Holidays." Crying over Starbucks cups having a generic red cup. That's a war on Christmas. 🤣
