The crazy thing is that I don't think Trump himself was actually that bad. He was just a senile bozo. The real evil was behind the scenes in people like McConnell and the Fascist Barbie Ivanka. Trump's greatest weakness was his desperation for power and the Republican party's leadership being able to manipulate his stupid ass to get what they wanted - tax cuts for the rich and extreme conservative judges. He kept everyone occupied with his joker antics while they quietly stole the Supreme Court and got their tax cuts. In fact, it was McConnell's evil that ended up making Trump lose the election by not signing a stimulus package for months and months and making people suffer without money. None of his clown antics ever hurt him. People loved the entertainment. What hurt was people being pissed that they weren't getting the financial support necessary during the COVID year. He would have won once again if they just gave people their 3rd checks.

Modi is different. You're underestimating him if you compare him to Trump. Modi is very careful and very cunning. He wouldn't dare to come out and give press conferences everyday because he knows his weaknesses. Trump never knew his own weaknesses. Only a joker who accidentally made it would have his team do a press conference from Four Seasons Total Landscaping. 🤣

Modi coming to power is no accident the way Trump coming to power was.

Have already talked about one specifically in this forum. There also I mentioned about how we can adapt/modernise old traditions but continue them for good.
