Atmanirbhar is neither a novel idea nor a very bright one.

In the age of globalization its inefficient. If Country A is a Automotive Hub & Country B is an agricultural land...its a lot more effective if both countries share resources. Its called trade.

Its an old Nehru/Gandhi ideology anyways and until Dr. MMS's historic budget of 91 that opened India up to the world and led to a meteoric rise of India's economy, thats exactly what held us back.

Modi is hell bent on sending India back to the dark ages, in every which way.
