When you say Raghav wants to be a husband more than a friend/lover, what does that really mean? Also, does he not want to be her lover? Maybe later on when he realizes she's his soulmate?

Ok this is something i have been feeling about raghav lately everytime pallavi went “mera pati” , there was always a reaction to this particular term. am not really sure how to put it but what i meant re. husband vs lover thing is that..Raghav has always craved to belong to someone. Raghav wants to be the “main tumhara hoon” types more than the “tum meri ho” types is what i feel.. The husband tag gives him just that..being a husband is a much more tangible term for an insecure loner like him than being just her lover.
During the abortion fiasco, pallavi takes out his kerchief and wipes the dirt off her hands and puts it back on him.. something about the act probably moved him cuz he actually looks at the kerchief and decides to investigate the issue and clear her name. Although he said that he couldnt bear the disgust in her eyes, i thought it was the kerchief act that made him react that way. In restrospect, it was may be the haq that she exerted over him through the act. In several other instances, raghav has done her bidding when she has demanded from him .. be it to extend the mall payment deadline or sth as inconsequential as holding the saree high up.

Also, i dont mean he doesnt want to be her lover. But he wants to be the husband first.. the way he categorically denies love when his amma or farhad asked tells me he is not in that headspace at all. But he is aware of the pull he feels towards her so ya, he will get there eventually. Going by the latest promo, the angst, the feels are all hoing to amplify.. but
the pull.. It has always been there na since their first highway meeting where he wipes her sweat away or fixing the pallu from falling.. Ah the feels.. got carried away..

Attitude Rao, bindi ka ghulam and saree ka assistant make one fun team. Its so good to see that Krishna and Milind have whole heartedly accepted Raghav. For Milind, he is ghar ka damaad and for Krishna her only jiju. Yesterday, I was kinda bummed at learning that Krishna and Milind will be present when Raghav will sing for Pallavi but their presence along with Amma's didn't take away from the beautiful moment these two shared.. The choice of song by Raghav- ''tum aa gaye ho, noor aa gaya hai, nahi to charagho se lau ja rahi thi, jeene ki tumse wajah mil gayi, badi bewajah zindagi ja rahi thi '' the timeless classic from the movie aandhi, was so apt in expressing his feelings for Pallavi, his gratitude towards her.. ❤️ and the reciprocation of the exact feelings by her in her words ''bohot shukriya, badi meherbani, meri zindagi mein huzoor aap aaye.. kadam choom lu, ya ye ankhe biccha lu, karu kya ye meri samaj mein na aye'' was just too sweet for words.. he was leaving after finishing the song, maybe thinking it wasn't that great.. loved how she stopped him by starting to sing for him.. Milind's expression was priceless. This side of Pallavi, must be new and surprising for him too.. and while Raghav's singing may have been far from perfect, just the fact that he put himself out there for her, even ready to make a fool of himself with his besura awaz..I mean, who wouldn't melt?

When there's so much to gush about, I don't feel like talking about Sanki and Keerthi's drama but I wanna say that I hope the open threat of throwing Milind's family out on the streets, acts as a motivation big enough for Sulochana to go back to her plotting of usurping the house and property under her name and this time I hope she succeeds.

And the right way for Raghav to handle Sunny, would be to take the cheque and Rs11 ka shagun back and say that he accepts him as his brother in law and would be happy to get them married at the earliest date possible. Let's see how he reacts to that, since he has no plans of marrying Keerthi.

I wasn't thrilled at the audience for the singing moments either, but if they had to be there, Krishna, Milind and Jaya were the perfect choice. Milind and Krishna have just completely made Raghav their own now, and are such soft, good hearted, beans.

I loved that little moment of Milind and Pallavi talking in song lyrics. It felt so warm and homey to me, and I can imagine how much Pallavi would have loved it.

Song selection made me emotional. I have to thank you for selling me on this scene yesterday- I would have gone in a lot iffier than I ended up doing without that 😅

@bold- I couldn't agree more. For this and only this, I'll be fully #TeamSulochana, with the caveat that an ousted Vijay doesn't land up to live with RaghVi. Sharda and Nikhil can go.

Kaka has never gotten proper respect, be it from his wife, his daughters or VD. Pallavi is the only person who not only showed him the respect he deserves but also gave importance to his opinions. Same here. He was such a dad today, at least in terms of affection and genuine goodwill. His biggest shortcoming is his inability to take a stand, but we've been seeing minuscule but consistent progress from him in that end.

Yeah.. it reminded me of Vanraj singing for Nandini in hum dil de chuke sanam.. though Sai has a better voice texture than Ajay Devgan.. he started off quite nicely actually.. I loved how he was getting up thinking that maybe she wan't much impressed.. and she senses what's going on in his mind and how beautifully she reciprocates, to acknowledge his effort and to show her gratitude! This is one of the reason why ITV daily soaps, despite having 1000s of shortcomings, still have such a large viewership.. the way they are able to portray love, desire, longing with such simple scenes without any physical intimacy..

The pool side scene, where Pallavi is lost in Raghav's thoughts, smiling coyly while twirling the bangle in her hand...that's a girl in love...I think she has started realizing and accepting the feeling.. The flirting in the precap scene and the way she looks at him when he is so close to her, she is very much there.. as is Raghav.

The restriction on physical intimacy has given rise to such creativity though, it's remarkable. Yes, lots of tropes we love to mock have come out of it, but they still work because they get the message across.

Infact, it's his take on marriage vs live in that's a little insulting to people who choose to live together, with the implication that the responsibility and commitment is less. I have friends who've been living happily with their partners, and I couldn't dream of telling them that their relationships have less of a commitment to each other than it would if they were married.

I agree ! His reasons for being against marriage dont make sense either . He says he was left alone in the hostel because of his parents messy divorce . If that's his issue , he can marry her and remain childless or smthng .

I have nothing against live ins , but it's still looked down upon in India . He knows Keerti and her family have reservations about it . Yet, he forces her into this :/
