How often do you read? What kind of books interest you? Are you an avid reader who keeps up to date with trending books, or are you someone who picks up books on whim? Do you visit bookshops or not?

For me, I am an avid reader and bibliophile. I love reading, and buy about 10 books a week. I finish all of them too! Books - both fiction and non-fiction - interest me. I love getting lost in the magic of words, and getting entangled in the web of storytelling which the writer weaves. For me, the English language fascinates me and I read purely in English but I admire people who read and write in other languages too. Books stop me in my tracks and get me all excited and I love keeping track of new books which have released. I'm a bookworm and proud to be so!

Any other bookworms out here?

You buy ten books a week? Damn, what do you do when you run out of space. Do you have a library to store them?

I'm a book shopaholic who loves to collect books but never gets around to actually reading them. Is there a word for that? 😆

I love non-fiction books too. I recently read The Gift of Fear by Gavin De Becker and strongly recommend it to every woman out there. Such an important topic and helped me understand all the little things we easily overlook in our everyday interactions with strangers.

I have a room which is only for books. They are scattered everywhere -- on the bookshelf, on my desk, on my bed. Yes, I am running out of space to keep books but I do give away from time to time as well.

I also love non-fiction. The one you mentioned sounds interesting. I am currently reading Think Like a Breadwinner by Jennifer Barrett and it's a blueprint for dismantling the cultural conditioning which stops women from building their own wealth, and how they must start on the path of financial freedom as soon as possible. It's an extremely relevant book for today's age.

High-five 😆. I am a bookworm too. Reading is my absolute favourite hobby and I generally love reading pretty much all types of stories/fictions, though I am not really inclined towards romance novels,I find them super boring and melodramatic, but some rom-coms are enjoyable. Mostly I love reading mystery genre, horror is also interesting, I don't really go to libraries and book-stores with a pre-decided mind, I pick books up on whim, and I love collecting them as well, it's a different thing that half of these books I haven't finished or even started yet 😆. But I like surrounding myself with books, the more the better. ❤️

My university curriculum takes most of my time but I do finish at least 3 novels every week

I don't read everything I get my hands on, I go through goodreads to select what I want to read

I love historical fiction/non fiction, recently hooked up on everything about WWII from documentation to accounts of people's experiences and psychological analysis

I prefer kindle over hard copies as they take alot of space and I can take my whole collection everywhere I go

Wow! Looks like I've met my kindred spirit, that too on India Forums!

I must tell you, I love literary fiction. I recently read Shuggie Bain, which won the Man Booker prize last year, and would recommend it to everyone. It's a book with a lot of heart.

I love rom-coms too, just like you.Reading One Last Stop by CaseyMcQuiston right now. It's a queer romance, and also coming-of-age. It's about a subway crush which becomes a breathtaking romance, and transcends into space where both the protagonists are transformed by each other.

Reading 3 books a week is pretty awesome, if you ask me, especially when you're still in university.

I like that you are selective, but for me I get the bookstore to show me the new books which arrive every week, and there are usually quite a few which interest me, so I pick them up. My bookstore is my go-to place. I call it the best bookstore in the world. Right now, I'm looking forward to reading Lisa Taddeo's Animal which is releasing next week. It's quite a sensation.

I read a lot of non fiction. I have recently switched to ebooks as I am running out of space in my house and I am too much in love with my books to give them away

Wow, I have half a mind to switch to ebooks but then I'm like it's not happening, I love the tangible feel of books in my hands, and can never replace that. The smell, the touch -- these things are part of the reading experience for me.

As a child I haunted libraries, book sales and The Salvation Army book aisle for my fix. Later, book stores but also Ebay where I could get out of print books or just books on the cheap in bulk by author or genre. I once looked down on e-books but with overburdened book shelves I now own thousands. New, old, paper, digital, audio - I'm an equal opportunity reader.

I'm rarely without a book, either paper, tablet or audio on my phone. I often read in binges - genres and authors - historical fiction, mysteries, fantasy, romance, magical realism, poetry, myths, literary fiction and classics. I'm not much of a recreational non fiction reader but when I do it's usually biographies or historical non fiction.
