Chapter 33: Train Accident

SamJun too feel relaxed thinking Hope has come as a blessing in their junior's life.

Few days pass by and ETF is all across newspapers and obviously for the good reasons. Public are much more at ease listening and reading the news about decreasing crime rate. Not only ETF, the whole Mumbai Police Department has been working hard in order to keep the city and its citizens safe and secure. But what if an official itself is a victim of a dreaded evil?

A man with black cap, goggles and long jacket gets down at the Mumbai Central Railway Station. He calls for a coolie to carry his luggage till he books a cab. But one small mistake by the coolie, the man loses his cool.

He was waiting for a cab and the coolie couldn't hold the luggage anymore. He wanted to keep the luggage down and so he did. But, one suitcase just fell off from his head and opened up only to a bag full of pictures. People around were shocked seeing the amount of pictures he was carrying with himself that too of one girl. The man witnessed the condition of the suitcase and became furious, but before that he bent down to keep the photos back and close the suitcase carefully. He pats the suitcase lovingly before he starts yelling at the Coolie.

"Tumhari himmat kaisi hui mere iss bag ko aise laparwaahi se sambhalne ki. Haan? Kuch ho jata toh?"

"Sorry sahab. Lekin suitcase hi toh tha." A terrified coolie replies with utmost decency.

"Tere liye suitcase hoga, mere liye yeh jaan hai meri." saying so the man holds the coolie by his collar. But all come to the rescue and separate the two.

In the meantime cab arrives and the man leaves leaving a perplexed crowd behind. "Itni saari tasveeren woh bhi ek ladki ki?" thought the coolie, but by then another train arrived at the platform and he had to get back to work for his living. By the time he was free, he forgot about the incident.

In the evening all leave from ETF office as usual. It was a tiring day for them as they had cracked yet another murder case. SamJun reach their home and the serious attitude Arjun has for the whole day gets dusted at the door as they enter.

He stretches his hands and places it on Sameer's shoulder "Bhai kitna thaka diya tune aaj." He complains.

"Acha?" Sameer raises his eyebrows sarcastically and hits Arjun with the pillow "Maine thaka diya? Aur woh bhi tumhe? Waah! Matlab tumhare dar se jo sab kaam karte hai woh nahi thakte, lekin tu thak jaata hai." Sameer sarcastically questions him and Arjun lets out a chuckle.

"Abhi daraane mein thakaan toh hogi na? Pata hai kitna mushkil kaam hai?" Arjun exaggerates and Sameer just nods his head in disbelief.

"Chal kuch kaam kar. Bartan dho de aur Main khana bana dunga." Sameer orders. Arjun angrily looks at him but Sameer doesn't budge, which makes Arjun sulk.

"Yaar abhi toh thake haare aaye hai. Aur bartan dhoun. Woh bhi main?" He questions sulkily.

"Rawate!!" Sameer calls. Arjun glares at him even more intensely. Sameer realises his mistake "Acha Arjun. Agar bartan nahi dhona toh at least haath munh dhoke aa ja." he pacifies.

"Okay." saying so Arjun goes to the bedroom. Sameer smiles and goes to the kitchen to check on the ingredients to cook. Arjun comes out and walks to the sink.

Sameer looks at him "Yeh kya? Maine kaha na main kar lunga." Sameer states as he doesn't want to burden Arjun.

"Already tune bahut kuch kiya hai, aur bahut kuch kar raha hai." Arjun answers in a deep voice.

Sameer nods his head and walks towards the room "Ayee!! Tu kahan jaa raha hai? Khana bana. Company de." Arjun orders.

Sameer turns back at Arjun's orders "Fresh ho jaun main? Haan?" He asks.

"Haan." Arjun nods his head in positive. "Lekin zyada samay mat lena!" He exclaims.

Sameer shuts the door and after some time comes out to see Arjun struggling with dishes "Dekh na? Phir se fresh hona padega." Arjun complains as soon as he sees Sam.

Sameer looks at his condition and laughs. Arjun glares at him and Sameer also tries controlling his laughter but in vain. "Rathode!!" Arjun growls.

"Bolo Arjun" says Sameer teasingly.

And Arjun splashes water on Sameer. He looks at him annoyed.

"Ab has na." Arjun demands. Sameer shuts his mouth to avoid provoking the sher in Arjun. Arjun finishes his chores and again goes to freshen up. Sameer by them prepares food and both of them relish it.

Sameer later gives Arjun his supplements which had to be taken for a month as prescribed by the General physician refering to his report. Doctor even prescribed medications for the rest, which they had to take compulsorily as it was Sameer's orders.

At the home of the Five they are greeted by Hope as soon as they enter. Chotu just escapes back to his room. The rest pet Hope and give him food to relish. In between Ayesha had come to feed Hope as Hope had gelled with her really well. They too had their dinner and general medications first. After an interval they took Dr. Grewal's medications.

But, there was one person who skipped it hiding from everyone, dissolving it in the water and throwing it knowing that it was risky and life-threatening. Added to it were the withdrawal symptoms and chances of relapse, but there seemed to be no option left for the person other than skipping it.

All go to sleep. Shree and Chotu sleep in one room and the girls along with Hope sleep in other. After couple of hours all go into deep sleep except the person who skipped medication on purpose. Getting up she quietly moves towards the door. Hope gets up and looks at her, but it feels like not the first time and Hope is also used to it. She kisses him and comes out of the room. She tip-toes to the kitchen with extreme care so that there is no disturbance caused by her.

Here on the other side the man had already checked into a hotel and had finished his dinner after which he opens the photo suitcase. He lovingly looks at them and adores them. They all were of one girl and many copies of the same 3-4 photos. A psychopath to be precise.

"Chalo tumse milne ka time aa hi gaya." He kisses the photo and sleeps off hugging her photo.

Morning all get up and freshen up. ChoRee come out and see Liza in the kitchen setting the table for breakfast. Sakshi was doing pooja in the mandir in their home. She comes out and forwards the Aarti thaal and applies tika on everyone's forehead. Ayesha enters from outside and takes the Aarti. "Kahan thi?" Sakshi asks raising her eyebrows.

"Kuch kaam tha." Ayesha answers with a smile.

"Sab theek hai na?" Liza asks. Ayesha places her hand on Liza's shoulder

"Haan sab theek hai baba." she replies. The girls then turn to see ChoRee already pouncing on the paratha. Liza and Sakshi join them.

Hope comes out and licks Ayesha. Ayesha comes out with his bowl of yummy food and pets him with lots of kisses. All look at her snuggling Hope.

She joins the paratha gang soon and they all finish their breakfast and leave. But not before bidding Hope a good bye. Ayesha promises to come in the afternoon to feed him and places a kiss before leaving.

They reach the office and after sometime Sameer and Arjun arrive. They greet each other and sit to file yesterdays case. All diligently sit in the conference with papers to file and other required documents. Sameer and Arjun sit in their respective cabins studying different cases to get a grip on future cases.

Liza in her lab continues with research and studies guiding her assistants to perfection. Afternoon all take a lunch break when Ayesha plans to rush back to home to feed Hope. Since the time Hope entered their lives they never saw Ayesha in office during lunch time as she would always go to Hope.

This time all wanted to have lunch with her hence Shree spoke "Ayesha aaj main jaata hun. Hope ko khana dekar aata hun."

"Haan Ayesha tum humesha lunch time end hone ke waqt aati ho. Aaj humaare saath lunch karlo." Sakshi states with a pout.

Ayesha smiles at them "Aree lekin na mere pyaar ki wajah se Hope bigad chuka hai. Ab woh aasaani se lunch bhi nahi karta. Toh Shree tumhe aaj problem ho sakti hai." She jokes.

"Aree Ayesha chinta mat kar. Hope Shree jitna pareshaan nahi kar sakta. Ja Shree." Chotu states and all have a hearty laugh. Shree angrily glares at him and throws a file.

Ayesha looks at them and then at SamJun who come out "Shree woh lunch ke baad humein woh call records de do." Sameer orders and both leave for lunch.

"Yaar abhi call records nikaalne padenge. Kya yaar." Shree whines as soon as they leave.

Ayesha comes to him "Shree main ghar jaati hun. Tum records nikal ke de do. Okay?" she asks.

All nod in positive and Ayesha mentally thanks Sameer for giving Shree this work. She rushes out and takes a cab.

She dials a number "Haan bolo." she orders and continues to listen. She reaches home and Hope greets her by licking her feet. She sits down and looks in his eyes lovingly while petting him "Thank you Hope. Tumhare aane se sab aasaan ho gaya hai bacha." she states.

She then moves to the kitchen corner and give Hope food. He eats like a good boy while Ayesha completes her work. She realises it's time for her to leave and so she hugs Hope before leaving. She sits in the taxi, switches off her mobile and keeps it in her bag.

On the other side Shree sits on his lappy to take the records. As soon as he takes the records he sees Chotu coming in with food. He keeps it aside and all four join in for lunch.

"Aaj kya laaye ho Chotu?" Sakshi asks patting his back.

"Dekh le na Sakshi." He smirks and opens the packets. Sakshi gets plates from pantry and Liza gets glasses for water. They set up a table near by as usual and sit in a circle.

"Yeh Ayesha bhi na lunch time ke waqt hi bhaag jaati hai." Liza complains. All agree with her.

"Waise bhi Sameer se puch ke time adjustment kar sakti hai. Woh mana thodi karega. Kyun?" Sakshi states and winks at them.

"Oooo haan.." all react in a teasing manner.

"Rathode sir senior hai humare toh obviously woh samjhenge." Liza states copying Ayesha's signature dialogue of Sameer just being a senior and nothing else. All nod their heads in disappointment as they very well know Ayesha will state the exact same words.

"Waise Ayesha ko call karte hai. Puchte hai kahan reh gayi." Liza states and all agree.

"Lunch time bhi khatam hone wala hai." Chotu adds. Sakshi calls her

"Haan Sakshi kya hua?" Ayesha asks worriedly.

"Kuch nahi Ayesha. Bas tum ho kahan? I mean lunch time khatam hone wala hai. Issiliye pucha." Sakshi states.

Ayesha looks at her wristwatch "Oh shit! Main raaste mein hun Sakshi jaldi aa jaungi." she says.

"Okay waise bhi Sameer tumse kuch nahi kahega. Toh relax haan!" Sakshi teases and the three control their laugh.

"Sakshi kaam karo apna.. Rathode sir mujhse kuch nahi kahenge lekin Arjun sir na bohot kuch keh sakte hai. Khaaskar tumse." Ayesha warns at which Sakshi pouts.

"Haan Arjun toh ek bhi mauka nahi chodta mujhe sunane ka." Sakshi expresses her displeasure.

"Abhi zyada naatak mat karo. Hum jaante hai ki Arjun sir ke taane tumhe bohot pasand hai." Ayesha states.

"Haan issiliye toh yeh pange leti rehti hai unse." Chotu adds to Ayesha's statement. Sakshi widens her eyes in shock.

"Sakshi hum bhi officers hai. Humse kuch nahi chupta." Liza hits Sakshi's shoulder to tease.

"Hum officer hai Chipkali. Tum nahi. Tum "forensic" se ho." Shree taunts double quoting Forensic which angers Liza.

"Tum na Specky chup hi raho. Tum konse officer ho. Lappy se hi toh chipke rehte ho." Liza retorts.

Ayesha smacks her own head "Guys hum sab officers hai. Bas branch alag hai humaare. Ab bas karo tum dono. Main pahunch rahi hun thodi der mein." she says.

"Okay Matashree." Shree and Liza reply by joining their hands in front of the mobile. Ayesha cuts the call and they all laugh.

Sameer and Arjun enter into the office and hear "Okay Matashree" from Shree. They look at each other surprised. "Shree yeh matashree kon hai?" Arjun asks from behind.

"Aur kon? Ayesha!" Shree answers not realising who asked. The four realise that it was someone else who asked and look in the direction of the voice only to find SamJun.

Both stand there even more amused "Ayesha?" Arjun asks.

"Ayesha nahi badi maa." Shree replies nervously.

"Humaare kaan baj rahe hai Shree?" Sameer asks sarcastically.

"Ho sakta hai." Shree replies out of nervousness. All hit his back and he corrects himself "Nahi sir."

"Phir?" Sameer asks.

Sakshi takes the matter in her own hands "Sameer woh Ayesha humaari bohot care karti hai. Humesha bewajah tension leti hai humaare liye" Sakshi starts to justify.

"Haan sir aur jab main aur Specky jhagadte hai toh wohi samjhati hai humein. Issiliye." Liza adds.

"Jaldi uth ti bilkul nahi hai. Lekin uthne ke baad humein without fail jagati zaroor hai." Chotu states.

"Aur ab Hope ka bhi bohot khayal rakhti hai. Toh Matashree." Shree ends the justification.

SamJun listen to them attentively and smile at each other. They see Ayesha entering the office in panic "Sorry sir. Ghar se nikalne mein der ho gayi aur traffic bhi toh.." Ayesha states when Sameer stops her "Relax Ayesha!"

"Haan Pani pi lo." saying so Arjun forwards the glass. She takes and gulps it fastly.

"It's okay. Hum samajh sakte hai." Sameer assures. Ayesha smiles lightly and SamJun leave from there. Juniors get back to their work of filing.

By evening they complete their work and Sameer informs them they can leave. SamJun leave from there after sometime.

After sometime at Ayesha's home, all play with Hope for sometime when Liza's phone beeps. She gets startled and with shaky hands picks her mobile to check. Shree and Sakshi observe this but don't react as they are unsure. Liza gets up in a hurry and goes outside.

"Yeh kya bakwaas hai? Yeh aisa kaise kar sakta hai? Ab main kya karun? Kissiko kuch bata bhi nahi sakti." Saying so she gets terrified and sits on the stairs while resting her head on the wall. A hand is placed on her shoulder and she frantically turns to find Sakshi and Shree.

"Kya hua Liza? Main shaam se dekh rahi hun tum kuch disturbed ho. You know you can share it with us right." Sakshi pacifies her. Shree keeps quiet but nods his head in positive and passes a small smile.

She tells them everything. "Yeh ek baar haath lag jaaye phir isski jo class lagegi na.." Shree clenches his fists.

"Don't worry Shree woh iss baar bach nahi sakta. Woh bhi itna ghinona kaam karne ke baad." Sakshi assures both Shree and Liza. They nod and Sakshi makes sure to rub Liza's tear off and plants a kiss on her forehead "Tension mat lo Liza. Hum hai na!" All smile.

Chotu comes out to call them for dinner. As it had turned cold Ayesha was heating it. But sensing the tension around he persists to know the reason and all tell him. He looks at all of them shocked "Isse toh main..." Saying so he rolls up his sleeves and was about to head out when all stop him.

"Chotu abhi humein kuch nahi pata. Hum kuch kar bhi nahi sakte. Samajh rahe ho." Shree tries to explain.

Sakshi comes in support of Shree "Haan Chotu humein samajhdaari se kaam lena hoga. Humare liye nahi toh Liza ke liye" Chotu calms himself down and nods in positive. He hugs Liza tightly. By now the fear which Liza had vanishes and she too reciprocates. Sakshi and Shree join in too and it becomes a group hug.

"Guys aur kitna time lagega?" Ayesha voices from the dining sarcastically.

All wipe their tears listening to her and were about to go when Liza stops them "Dekho abhi hum Ayesha ko kuch nahi batayenge. Agar abhi bataya toh Arjun sir aur Rathode sir ko bhi pata chal jayega. Aur main unhe face nahi kar sakti." saying so she pleads to them.

They all including Liza don't want to keep Ayesha in the dark. But they have to do it as this matter can't be revealed easily, that too not to SamJun. So they compose themselves and head to the dining. They all act as if nothing is wrong and Ayesha also doesn't pay a lot of attention. She feels a bit different, but she blames it on herself and continues to eat. She washes the dishes when Liza and Sakshi are making the beds.

Shree gets everyones medicines so that they can take it before sleeping. His phone rings as soon as he places the box on the table. He checks it and is startled to see SAMEER calling. He picks up the call and keeps it on speaker.

"Yes sir. Koi case?" Shree asks.

"No Shree nothing. Bas puchna tha ki tum sab theek ho na? I mean there is no problem right?" He asks concerned.

The four look at each other startled even more. "Nahi sir koi problem nahi hai." Shree assures falsely. The three look at him.

"Sure?" Sameer asks. But before they could answer Arjun's voice is heard "Dekha maine kaha tha, agar kuch hoga toh woh humein batayenge. Tujhe na tension lene ki aadat ho chuki hai." The juniors smile at this.

Sameer now has no other option and he wishes them a good night. After the call is cut the four look at each other "Bach gaye." The four sigh in relief.

"Kya hua?" Ayesha comes after doing the dishes and looks at everyone sighing. All look at her and Sakshi speaks "Ayesha!! woh abhi na Sameer ka call aaya tha." She teases. Ayesha gives them an unbelievable nod when all laugh. Shree hands them their supplement first and after sometime the other one. Sakshi gets a call and she rushes to the bedroom to pick it up and she talks for sometime seriously.

All take their medicines except she who hides it very nicely in the similar manner. All head to their bedroom and fall asleep.

At SamJun's house Arjun after the call asks Sameer to take less stress "Dekh Sam agar tu aise tension leta raha na toh baal safed ho jaayenge tere aur na Ayesha bhi koi bhaav nahi degi." He states and recieves a flying pillow as a reward. "Agli baar soch samajhkar bolna. Aaj takiya feka hai, kal tujhe ghar se fek dunga." Sameer warns.

"Acha? Himmat hai?" Arjun rolls up the sleeves of his sweatshirt and looks at Sameer in full attitude.

"Himmat dikhaun." Sameer challenges him by doing the same- rolling up the sleeves of his kurta.

Both laugh together "Tere agar safed baal ho toh bhi koi problem hai hi nahi. Na?" Arjun looks at Sameer confused, when Sameer just winks at him. Arjun realizes who is Sameer referring to and that is none other than the Sakshi Anand.

"Rathode!!" he yells to stop the discussion.

"Rawate! Gussa kyun aa raha hai?" He asks smirking. But Arjun doesn't answer and goes to the bedroom to sleep after taking the supplements. Sameer just smiles and walks to his study, aiming to sleep a bit later.

Here on the other side the laptop is being operated by a man while sipping on coffee while doing something which no one should ever think of. "Abhi tumhe iss Yuvraj ki Yuvrani ban na hi padega. Aur koi option choda hi nahi hai maine tumhare liye." He laughs before saving the file.

He walks towards the dressing table and takes out all the shaadi ki samgri he brought along with him. This includes sindur, mangalsutra, chunni shawl, etc. "Thode din baad tum sabse meri Yuvrani sajegi. Kitni sundar lagegi woh. Haaye!! My Love My Everything My Liza I am coming to you."

He lovingly places them back and falls on his bed satisfied. He has no idea of the trouble he has to face when ETF comes to know about it.

Back at home, after all go to deep sleep the work begins. Hope sits near her and looks at the progress and the tension, calls being made and recieved. Writings and sketching done while side by side working on the laptop. Referring to the web she made and drinking lots of water.

This was going to take a very long time and this would mean not taking medicines until then and working on the dark. But there was no thinking done regarding this matter as for her the mission was very important. Much more than her health or her life.

Next morning the usual routine takes place and all reach office. First juniors come, soon followed by SamJun discussing the case which they got.

"Team in the conference in 5." orders Sameer and both SamJun enter the conference. Arjun switches on the TV and both watch the news. On the laptop Sameer keeps ready the other 2 similar case news as told by Arjun.

The news on the TV was of a woman who jumped in front of a train and on the laptop were the similar incidents which took place the previous day and the day before. Soon they are joined in by their team.

"Dekho Rathode. Main yahi keh raha tha. Ek time pe ek hi station aur ek hi train ke neeche aana koi itefaaq nahi hai." Arjun states and Sameer tries and understands what Arjun is stating.

"Lekin Arjun news mein toh bata rahe hai na ki yeh ek suicide hai?" Sakshi intervenes which does not go well with Arjun "Miss. Anand agar investigation journalists aur publicists se hi karana hai toh phir humaari kya zaroorat?" Sakshi looks at him furious. Arjun looks at Sameer and the rest.

"Ya toh yeh ho sakta hai ki pehle waale se dono influence ho gaye, ya.."

"Ya inn teenon ko majboor kiya hai train ke saamne kudne ke liye." Sameer continues. All look at their seniors agreeing to their conviction. Sameer too looks at him agreeing.

"Humein railway station jaake aage ki puch-taach kar leni chahiye." Arjun instructs.

"Liza woh.." Sameer starts when he notices that Liza is busy in her own thoughts. Shree hits her elbows getting her back to senses.

She gets awakened but is confused "Sir aap kuch keh rahe the?" She asks Sameer innocently.

Sameer smiles lightly "teesri body tumhare lab mein hai. Baaki do ke bodies ko family ne claim kar liya hai. Toh jo pata kar sakti ho pata laga lo." Arjun looks at everyone suspiciously. He feels they are hiding something but he is unsure and he can't tell Sameer anything before being fully assured, as Sameer worries constantly.

"Yes sir!" Liza obliges. Before she leaves Sameer stops her "Ruko!!" All look at her perplexed. Liza is nervous and turns to face him without any eye contact. He finds it strange "Tum theek ho na?" He asks.

Liza smiles it off "Yes sir!" She exclaims and heads to her lab. Sameer is still not convinced but due to the case he lets it go. Sameer Arjun Sakshi and Shree go to the railway station.

Ayesha and Chotu collect the victims background details till then. Ayesha enquires with Chotu whether anything is wrong, but he replies in negative only to keep his promise. Ayesha also doesn't persist much.

At the railway station they ask questions related to what they saw and noted it down. "Uss aurat ko kissi bhi cheez se koi farak hi nahi pad raha tha. Aisa lag raha tha woh nashe mein chal rahi hai, toh maine dhyaan nahi diya. Phir aawaaz aayi aur jab mudke dekha toh usne apni jaan de di thi." One man states from the crowd. The others also agree with him.

Shree and Sakshi collect all the statement and note down the name and number of the witnesses. Arjun and Sameer come out from the CCTV room and gesture Shree and Sakshi 'lets leave'.

In the car Sakshi and Shree discuss the statements with Sameer and Arjun and they too listen to it attentively. Soon they reach the office and SamJun head towards the conference. The juniors enter soon and Ayesha and Chotu enter with information they had collected.

It was afternoon and they all did not have lunch. So all intended to have lunch once they discuss all aspects.

"Sir aaj jo aurat mari thi usska naam Shilpa hai aur woh ek elementary school mein padati thi. Family mein 3 log hai, pati aur do bachhe. Yeh usski baaki details." Ayesha says handing over the file to Sameer. She adds "Sir ek aur baat pata chali hai. Yeh aur jo do aadmi, kal aur parso kude the woh log ek cheez se connected hai."

Arjun raises his eyebrows questioningly "Aur woh kya?" He asks.

"Sir woh yeh ki inn teenon ne ek case mein last moment par statement badal ke gunhegar ko baizzat bari karwa diya tha. Lekin iss mein ek aur aadmi bhi shaamil tha. Aur yeh usski details aur unn do aadmiyon ki." Chotu forwards the files to Arjun. Sameer too forwards the file to Arjun.

"Woh case tha kya?" Sameer asks.

"Sir Pooja naam ki ladki ke saath aadhi raat train mein chedkhani aur zabardasti ki gayi thi, kuch badtameez ladko ne. Woh call center mein kaam karti thi toh late night hi travel karti thi. Jab isske saath yeh ho raha tha, tab kissine usse bachane ki koshish nahi ki thi. Aur issi haatha paayi mein woh ladki train se kud gayi aur saamne se guzarne waali train ke neeche aa gayi." Ayesha states explaining the details.

"Yeh statement uske pati ne di thi. Bohot lada woh apni biwi ke liye. Lekin yeh chaaron jo chashmadir  gawah the, inhone court mein apna statement hi badal diya tha. Shayad kyunki woh ladke bade gharane se the paison se inn gawahon ka munh band karna aasaan tha." Chotu adds and this was a well known fact that money can buy witnesses and that is what happened with Pooja.

"Kahi usske pati ne toh yeh sab?" Sakshi asks doubting that for his daughter he might have.

"Nahi Sakshi agar usse yeh sab karna tha toh woh unn ladkon ke saath yeh karta. Lekin bas inn teenon ki hi maut hui. Aur shayad kal chautha bhi marega." Arjun reasons. But they had to investigate in that angle in order to be sure. Arjun's intuitions were too good but they had to even reason it out professionally.

"Rawate yeh theories hum file mein darj nahi kara sakte. Ek baar Pooja ke ghar jaake dekhna padega." Rathode states sternly. Arjun passes him an unbelievable look and the rest just pass a smile at each other.

Liza enters the conference soon with her report "Sir iss aurat se mujhe koi bhi alcohol ya drugs ke traces nahi mile hai aur jaisa ki hum sab jaante hai, isski maut train ke neeche aane se hi hui hai."

"Lekin wahan pe sab yahi bata rahe the ki yeh apne hosh mein nahi thi." Shree reasons and Liza looks at him irritated "Usske aur bhi reasons ho sakte hai Specky jaise hypnosis ya sleepwalking." she answers and he funnily imitates her. Ayesha widens her eyes to stop them from fighting like cats and dogs in front of their seniors.

A bell rings in Arjun's mind but he doesn't voice it. Soon they all go for lunch. Ayesha goes back home as usual. The four talk about the incident previous night in a very hush hush tone. SamJun in the cafeteria have their lunch.

"Jaisa ki Liza ne kaha mujhe lagta hai ki zaroor inn sab ko kissi ne hypnotise kar diya hoga. Warna subah ke aath baje koi sleepwalk nahi kar sakta." Sameer states and Arjun looks at him amused.

"Kya?" Sameer retorts as he looks at Arjun's amusement "Tum hi batao aur kya wajah ho sakti hai?" He asks irritated. Arjun smiles "Main bhi yahi soch raha tha lekin tu bhi meri baat se sehmat hai yeh sunke ajeeb laga." Arjun jokes.

"Rawate!" Sameer smiles and shakes his head in disbelief. They have their lunch and leave back for office. Soon Ayesha comes back and sits. They all split in two groups. Arjun Sameer, Sakshi and Chotu go to Pooja's home and Ayesha and Shree go to Mahesh, the fourth witnesses house to warn him.

"Ji Mahesh ji? Hum ETF se aap please unhe bulayenge." Ayesha asks as servant opens the door.

"Ji main abhi saab ko bulata hun." Servant obliges and tells Mahesh about their arrival. "Ji aap logon ka yahaan kaise aana hua?" Mahesh asks as he enters the hallway.

"Ji Mahesh ji humein aapse Pooja ke case ke silsile mein baat karni thi." Shree states and both notice the change of colour on his face. "Ji mujhe jo bhi pata tha maine court mein bol diya. Ab aur kuch nahi hai." He nervously replies patting the kerchief on his face.

"Aur aapne jo bhi bola tha jhooth bola tha. Kyun?" Ayesha asks. "Haan aur sirf aap hi nahi aapke saath baaki teenon ne bhi jhooth bola, jo ab mar gaye hai. Kyun?" Shree asks which makes him even more nervous.

"Please aap log mujhe uss se bacha lijiye. Main marna nahi chahta." Mahesh pleads. "Toh aapko humein sab sach batana hoga." Ayesha puts forward a condition and both Ayesha and Shree look at each other and then at Mahesh. He tells everything truthfully unlike what he had stated in the court. They then leave back to the office.

On the other side Sameer rings the door bell of Pooja's home. A 18-20 year old girl comes and opens the door. She looks at them and gets startled. "Hi. Hum ETF se hai. Aapke papa se baat karni hai humein." Sakshi says lovingly.

"Papa!!" The girl calls out and a man looking pale and dull comes out. He looks at ETF in confusion not knowing why they came. "Ji aap log?" He asks.

"Papa yeh log ETF se hai. Aapse baat karna chahte hai. Aap baat kijiye, Anuj abhi aata hoga. Aaj canteen mein meri shaam ki shift hai, toh aane mein der ho jaayegi. Khana bana ke rakha hai, Anuj ko bolke garam kar lena aur kha lena. Dawai lena mat bhulna." The daughter instructs everything to her dad. Anuj her younger brother was at school and would be returning anytime soon.

Dad just with a small smile nods and she leaves. "Yeh Rashi meri beti hai. Isski maa ke guzar jaane ke baad se yahi ghar ko chalati hai aur sambhalti bhi hai." He states proudly.

"Humein aapse aapki wife ki death ke baare mein hi baat karni hai Mr. Vyas." Sameer states and looks at Vyas guiltily. Sameer didn't want to do this as he knew he would be opening a wound again, but his duty forced him to. Vyas tells them everything with great difficulty and as they were listening Arjun's eyes falls on the books on the shelf. He gestures Sameer and Sameer too looks shocked.

"Ji aap ke yahan Psychology kon pad raha hai?" Sameer asks respectfully.

"Meri di. Psychology student hai." Anuj replies as he hears the question.

All look at him and later at each other. They have no proof and blaming Vyas's for the death would be too much. So they decide on leaving for now and returning when necessary.
