Ohh but I feel the dialogues are the highlight… you might not understand much without the dialogues.

Also, I think a very important part of the charm of the Tamil show is cultural. A lot of the dialogues, mannerisms and jokes took me back to my childhood and brought back memories of my mom, grandmom and cousins( normal Tamil household- not too rich but not too poor).

For example, I simply love the way Dhanam makes lists in her head for everything, and before leaving out on a trip, she crosses off a mental checklist of what to do- gah it was like seeing my mom 😆 All moms do that, but the dialogue delivery and the gestures are quintessential South Indian mom.

A lot of the beauty can not be captured in subtitles. At one point it felt like I was living in Dhanam’s family, like Kannan, Kathir and Jeeva were like distant cousins… the show is so engaging and natural. Meena used to mirror some of my inner thoughts while watching the episode 😃

They successfully dragged this day in Pandya land to 8 episodes so far. I am thinking the day is still not over yet, might show little bit on Monday and then will move on to pag phere rasam😆
