yes, but how they have shown SRK and Aish in the scene it was not toxic, SRK loved Saba in the scene but he was okay with the fact that they are divorced now and that she has moved on in life, but he also acknowledged his feelings for her.

In real life it would be awkward if an ex comes and tells your current that he still loves the person but it was a way to put across the message loudly

I've had feelings for the weirdest of people (don't worry, not an uncle). One was a school friend of mine. I remember clearly a few friends of mine told me to confess my feelings to him before I'd lose the chance (now as I think back I'm like to that 13 year old me, yeah right). I told him, he started disliking me. Our whole grade, legit whole grade, got to know of my feelings for him and they all teased him to an extent where he hated me.

Weirdly, we got into the same class grade 8 onwards (first year of high school and in high school, you remain with the same classmates till matric), his hatred pierced me tbh. 2 years later, my feelings diminished and we soon started talking like classmates. We soon became friends again, and despite how horrendously our friends shipped the two of us (they went to the extent of finding out our future kids genotypes 🤦‍♀️), we've remained friends.

What I'm trying to say is, my feelings were what was needed to break a four year friendship. And I'm glad we're back to being friends now, although I know not all are lucky enough to be friends and laugh over their past like me. Like trust me, when I think back to those days, I laugh like a maniac😆
