I watched Jogger's Park when I was in school and loved it. May-November romance which was sensitively depicted and without any frills or dramatic elements. The relationship between 2 people who fell in love despite the odds, and of course there's no quintessential happy ending but the movie had a unique flavour and was drenched in the colours of love.
What I loved the most was that it kept the Indian ethos and sensibilities in mind, and wasn't a rip off any Hollywood movie. An Autumn in New York(2000) had a similar theme but the 2 movies couldn't be more different.
The movie is more like a paean to love and how can it happen in the most unlikely of circumstances, to the most unlikely of people. Poetic and haunting, the music is also worth a hear.
Has anyone watched it??
