Yes there’s a lot of potential. Even the college track had so much potential though Saba said it didn’t work. Her writing was to blame.
I thought with the college track we would see
- Students teasing Purvi about being a molkki or having an older husband and Mukhi being insecure or supporting her
- Purvi winning a prize or competition and Mukhi being proud. Potential for nok jhok
- Instead of Karan there could have been a real guy her age that genuinely liked Purvi making Mukhi realising Purvi’s worth
- Maybe even show villagers not liking Mukiyani going college and Mukhi fighting for it
Just a few of my thoughts but story had a lot of potential
Couldn't agree more about the college track not being used for it's max potential. The line in bold could have made an impact in some remote corner of the society where girls are deprived of basic rights.
What I have learnt about men is (I could be wrong of course) - Jealousy can creep in when other men are eyeing his wife. But there is greater pride that his woman is quiet appealing.
Man takes great pride when knows that his wife can intellectully outsmart others, capable of treading any situation with ease.
Realizing how her man takes pride in her virtues weaves in a special bond in the relationship. ❤️
Likewise, a woman can go weak in her knees knowing her man can stand up for her in the time of need and she can count on him no matter what. Her greatest pride comes from the sense of belonging to her man and no one else. 😳
All these could have been depicted without brining Karan and the wrath that followed it. The anger he had dished out to Purvi was uncalled for, IMO!
