Yes, agree this is how many households are, abuse the bahu so much that she is pushed into committing suicide, and this is mirror to society etc but is that the primetime content SP want to show? Even if they show such tracks, why do they not show karma hitting back people who do bad things?

Instead why not make it like Maryada and air it more around 10:30/ 11 pm show? They can then show even more regressive and EMA/ sexual relationships they want without people complaining.

Forget karma hitting back, they will actually be showing the abused (Sai) taking care of the abusers in future tracks.

My problem is if they want to show something that mirrors society, why not parallely condemn it? During domestic abuse episodes, no one clearly called out Virat.

There used to be show called Balika Vadhu. It showed ill-effects of child marriage without villifying those who engages in the custom out of ignorance. That's called responsible writing. It made positive impact in society too.

Exactly, show that its not an acceptable behavior. They should talk about it instead of carrying a huge carpet to sweep everything under it after each track.

Just adding a disclaimer at everything that they know is not an acceptable behavior is not the right way.

This show shouldn't be airing at primetime coz they only show people cmmitting crime and being forgiven for it by saying sorry or sometimes not even that.

Worst was Kaku's whitewashing. In Tamil, Saranya blasted all of them for separating kid and mom for years and when Vikram says I understand why kaku did it, she super blasts him, unlike Hindi version.

I didn't like Tamil version bringing in Emon/ Rono's athma into Saranya/ Vikram as they were totally different from KD version.

The scene continues in Tamil, like he be like you also sleep etc he scares her when she doesnt join him. She runs and lies close to Vikram, hugging him after similar ghost story.

But eventually she realizes he is kidding and they both laugh at the end.

Sathya is outside the door, hoping they are fighting about her but fumes when she hears them laugh and goes to their room.

Next day morning, he will go down and ask his mom to help him make coffee for Saranya and he takes two coffee to their room, but Sathya deliberately tries to chipkao to him outside the room to make Saranya jealous and shout, but she doesn't react. She even tells Vikram, I know she is doing this deliberately to rile me up, but still gets cute angry with Vikram for allowing Sathya to touch him.

I hope they change it to chipkali or something in Hindi. Ghost se darna makes no sense, she is medical student for crying out loud.

Unlike Hindi, Tamil had many Vikram - Saranya scenes, infact there are full episodes of just them without other family members cutting in, most of them funny banters. (there was a scene of Saranya-Vikram celebrating his birthday in his room as well, this was during mission track he remembers as flashback)

Hope they dont cut the hug part.. We hardly get any in this show 😭

I saw the boycott hashtag a few days back. Gathered steam very quickly forcing actors to even react about it.

Can you guys also consider trending something like that which is easy to retweet and make viral. Like maybe just #NOsuicidetrack.

Kyunki mujhe makers se umeed nahi hai ki voh poora Google doc padhenge! 🙈😂

Really?!!??? I can't believe it....

Perhaps the production house dictates the content? The creatives can suggest changes but don't have the power to veto?

Dear makers of GHKPM

As ardent viewers of the show and fans of the leads of the show Sai and Virat, we the audience are very much invested in their journey- the story of their love and their life. And we do understand that in the story, things cannot be hunky dory all the time and there are going to be misunderstandings and roadblocks. But we do ask that when you show these misunderstandings and troubles, you do not forget the personality of our leads

that you have painstakingly established over all the episodes thus far. We do want to see Sairat get over difficulties and triumph but not at the cost of butchering their core personality.

Since you are following the story of Kusum Dola- we know there will be a track of Sai and her college friend where Virat misunderstands her and gets possessive/jealous. We kindly ask that when you show this track, even if Sai get extremely hurt/upset please DO NOT show her attempt suicide. Because as impulsive as Sai is, she has already committed the act once and has learnt her lesson. It sends out a terrible message to have her once again attempt suicide. She is now a medical student who knows the value of life so as hurt/alone and wounded as she may be if her Virat Sir makes allegations about her, she should not be shown resorting to suicide attempt. Similarly please do NOT show her use suicide as a bait to get family to attend her college function. It's utterly ridiculous and makes light of a very serious issue. Please be a little creative and change the plot a little bit.

If you want to show Sai get injured and land up in the hospital thereby making Virat guilty and realize the magnitude of his words in Sai's life- there are many ways to do that WITHOUT suicide attempt. Similarly there are many ways to convince/trick family into coming for her college function that do not involve suicide drama.

While the original story certainly is a good one and following it had garnered you great TRPs thus far we do humbly ask that you do not copy every single thing from the show. We would like to be surprised as viewers and have the story adapted to suit Sai and Virat in todays time, and not be reduced to Sai and Virat acting as Rono and Imon.

YES! DO THAT!
