I don’t mind romance either but it needs to have some build up to have any feels for me 😆….and even then it will never match up to moments like Adi talking to her about how love can move mountains, how it empowers you in life. That is the stuff that sets their equation apart. That communication, the soul connect in their relationship.

GM-ST are capable of acing almost all the range of shades in AI ka relationship, but it is scenes like today when they really shine….when they are given substance and build up.

I am glad we talked about bbsb’s anger earlier because I would not have liked it as much if I didn’t have your pov in my mind 😆 I still don’t understand why so much anger though I need a different perspective on this, I get being overprotective and worried about her studies all the while being stressed out but he got so mad I got scared for a while again until ofcourse imaliya made me laugh and that adorable adi imlie scene came too 😆

Haha yes, what a coincidence that we were just talking about his temper in the previous thread and aaj ke epi mein he gave a full demo of his angry mode again 😆.

I do feel he went overboard in daantoing her even out of concern. Bhadaas toh nikaali isne thodi even if he won’t admit it 😆….but it did ultimately come from a place of immense concern and he gets very worried about her studies….this is consistent with the way he’s been in any previous situations regarding impact to her studies or career.

See this is the aspect of their relationship that will always be different….he’s not just her husband, he’s not just the guy who loves her….he’s also her teacher, her guardian figure in many ways 😆….so he ends up scolding her like she’s a child when she is acting like a badmaash baccha in his eyes. Lol yesterday he was fully in that strict teacher mode with her 😆….like the way a teacher scolds you when you don’t do your homework and don’t take your studies seriously. Lol and then he goes overboard cuz beyond a regular teacher, he feels a right over her to scold her with more Haq since he feels she’s his own….apni hai woh.

I also do find it amusing that Adi shows more emotion, more fierceness for Imlie’s EXAMS than he ever did for ANYTHING related to Malini. 😆….Imlie ki ek chhoti baat ke liye he can fight the world…his anger is actually reflective of his level of concern for her. While the Malini he spent 7 years with 😆, he can barely find it in himself to even think about the boyfriend she’s randomly produced 😆….the only time he showed fierceness to Malini was when she was insulting Imlie. Wahaan bhi only something Imlie related could bring out this level of emotion in Adi. 😆 …..it’s a remarkable window into the kind of guy he is and what really matters to him. Imlie is the key to unlocking his emotions. His anger can seem intense on the surface but it’s worth noting what it’s indicative of in his overall personality and emotions in connection to Imlie.

Imlie is like the cornerstone of his life now, the embodiment of his principles and belief system. That is why he fights harder for her than for anything else. She will always mean more than anything else and that is why she evokes more intense emotions like anger than anything else. It all does come from a place of concern for her and wanting her to not lose focus. Cuz let’s be honest, she does lose focus in between😆….she’s an incorrigible imp in some ways so Adi ends up playing the ogre then 😆.

Totally agree. The daant was extreme but for all the right reasons if I may.. he has taken the responsibility when it comes to her studies and we know how he is when it comes to zimmedaris absolutely no concessions..esp when it is anything related to Imlie.. Adi takes pride in her achievements and is only wanting the best so when he sees her doing masti not being serious he loses the fuse ke she doesn't put much effort which then becomes even more funny caz this is the sane guy who has so much faith in her too ke agar padhe bina bhi exam de toh top kar le😆 But I guess that is for other subjects and English is her weakness..

This was the typical insight into that teacher student side of their rishta which actually is taking more shape clearly and I find it very cool caz for the world it has been someone else her teacher but we all know and they want to show it more obviously that it is adi then be it her getting a FB during her exam resulf of adi teaching her or him being extra fierce like this or him visitng her at college with books. Baat wohi hai ki yeh duniya bhar ki problems solve karne mein apne future pe focus karna bhool jaati hai. Yes, her studies are important to her but she does get caught up in solving dusron ke problems over her own future. That is why Adi gets strict with her cuz he refuses to let her compromise on her future…that is where his life experience plays a part cuz he knows these are critical years for shaping her future.

They are both acting their age 😆….Imlie can act like puri duniya ki Daadi but end of the day she’s a typical college kid who will drag her feet around exams 😆….while Adi has already gone through college and work so he views this all with the hindsight of experience that you can’t take college studies lightly when so much is at stake.

Yes, fundamentally he is fighting for her to achieve her potential and not let her talent waste away or get sidetracked in life ke dusre dramas when already her life has shifted course in marrying him. More than amends, this is about him wanting her to be the shining light she is in every way rather than limiting herself to timepass masti mazaak as he thinks 😆.

But yes he needs to lighten up too😆….and Imlie manages to make that happen while accepting his concern for her 😆….she grumbles about his khadoos-ness but she does know he’s doing it out of fikar for her 😆.

He is ok with her daadiamma matters too and yeh toh sach hai isko sab pe dhyaan dena hai khud ko chod ke and whe you love someone to this extent care for them to this extent it does become frustrating to see them.not paying attention to themselves being casual about their lives .. yes her idea was smart but she was again being a bit naive and careles stoo in the sense that what if sach main book na aati.. imlie ke.irade toh naik hi hote hain but she is a masoom careless kid who.does things like.all.otjer people her age too in impulse.
