Oh okay. Kerala is beautiful. I am not sure if you can accommodate both Ladakh and Shimla if you are planning to visit Kerala and Agra. Travelling will also take up some time and you might need atleast 3 days in Ladakh may be.

Well it's just postponed. I hope next year I can celebrate my birthday in the blue city of Chefchaouen in Morocco.

Wow, sounds exciting. You would ❤

IKR almost two years and God knows if things will be fine by the end of this year. smiley5

Yeah 😣, I was supposed to travel to India in the month of January and I couldn't. And the situation in India is also not quite good now. Wonder when will all this become alright. I just don't want a 3rd wave in UK 😣.

wow, this is a great list of "yet to travel" list :). I have a similar list and my top 3 is Norway, Brussels, and Rome.

❤ wow

Brussels was really beautiful. Any particular reason to visit Brussels?

I have traveled all over India. Almost all regions covered except NorthEast. Yet to finish that. Hopefully once the situation improves, will get there.

Wow, I want to visit Sikkim and also the living root bridge in Meghalaya. Darjeeling was really beautiful. I loved Darjeeling, Shillong and Cherrapunji. It was raining quite heavily when I visited Cherrapunji and I loved it. Would love to visit again. Rains in India are charming in its own way 😆.

I like camping and trekking a lot and i mostly stay in huts or tents when i am in and around the Himalayas! Thats an exp of a lifetime, stars above your head :)

Oh my god, this sounds too exciting. Will ask you for details about this as well. We had camped last year to be watch the Neowise comet. It started to get really cold but the star lit sky is something one wouldn't want to miss. It was beautiful. So I can imagine how amazing it would have been to watch a star lit sky in a mountainous place.

Bappa celebrity beautiful smiley42

You must make a trip to Ladakh once, bef its becomes too much commercial. Thank goodness in a way that so many villages are remote and up the mountains that it will take a long time to change them probably. So that local touch will be there for sure! The main town has almost become commercial.

Oh okay, will try. I am not sure if that is even going to be possible in the near future. I have been visiting India for just 2 weeks or less than that in the past 2 years and the time flies. Hardly get to spend some good time with family too.

You are right, it is a big put off when a place becomes too commercial.

Remote villages sounds really exciting. Local touch is what we actually want to experience isn't it?

Kargil is still better than Leh. Leh is a proper tourist hub now. Let me know when you plan, will give you a route that you should take and you will cover most of the beautiful spots that are worth spending time in.

Oh wow, thank you so much ❤.

Working with the NGO gave me access to many of the inner most villages and life is so different there! The simplicity in everything just makes me think that why the hell we want so many materialistic things from life???

Wow, getting to see the real life definitely makes a huge impact.

It is actually the simple things that can give us pleasure, a great sense of satisfaction. What we get out of them is not something we can get out of any materialistic thing. It is the emotions attached to it, the memories attached to it that gives us the joy. Such experience remain in our memory always and we look forward to them.

Up the mountains a small village with some 600 people and a small school upto 8th stnd and then they have to come to Leh town to continue their studies. Teachers are very committed and they want a change in their schools, as in better infra, better accessibility to books and sports and so on, however they want to keep their local essence also intact! I have taught the Teachers there, like a train the trainers program and also the kids. So cute man and they are so enthu when they see someone coming from outside world! So many questions they have bec they are curious and their enthu pulls you as well and makes you tell them your experience, share what you know :)

Oh my god, cant imagine this too. One has to see I guess. Glad to know that the teachers are so committed. I can understand how curious those kids would have been. I am so excited to learn these from you, how would those kids would have felt. Wow. I feel really happy that you could share your experience with them and you have got ti experience these ❤.

My best and memorable trip oversees is Scotland. 4 days of backpack trip in Isle of Skye. Amazing place again and best place to just be with yourself :)

Backpack trip? Great.

Just be with yourself 😍 ? Solo traveller?

I was just watching homewrecker show episodes that I have missed in my SaiRat love and boy, i actually appreciate the ensemble cast there.

the matriarch is SOOOO sassy and also really funny; her one liners are classic; and here we have to deal with BK....SMH

Is that number 1 TRP show? Woh to maaza hi aagya is hafte! I don't follow it rigorously, but watch it at times with my mom and this week I couldn't help but follow all episodes. Really I'm damn sure it's trp will rise more this week. The FL has been savage, honestly I've seen some progression in her character, the way she deals with homewrecker. The ML however made my blood boil 🤬, so so so selfish! And I love the prop (like we have Sonali and Karishma as prop, they also have a certain person). She's savage AF, and a true grey character!

Sorry, forgot to answer 😅 I went to sleep and thought I'll answer tomorrow but I'm also getting amnesiac 😆

Lucky you! My whole family is scattered all over the world and family that's still in India all live close to each other, but we aren't that close with our relatives, my phooti kismat 😂

Yes it's so true, earlier I had many more restrictions but now I've to travel 20 km alone to attend lectures, and my parents are getting more chill. At first they didn't wanted me to attend that particular uni as it's so far, we've one in Brussels too but I was adamant as it's the top uni and even my brother studied there and it has a very very cool atmosphere😅So I know slowly slowly it will get better. If I'm really adamant, they won't stop me, but I'm a bit like Veeru in this case 😅 I hate confrontations and as long as it's not necessary I don't see the point. Oh that really seems a fun thing, travelling with your hubby! They say that if you travel with your hubby, you definitely explore new places but also your partner and it tightens the bond! Don't know if it's true 😊

I'm glad the work-travel balance worked out for you! I've noticed that most people these days aren't able to much create a work-life balance, and I understand that it's really difficult as I'm not able to create a study-life balance 😂 It's something you learn with age I think.

🙈 I've always wanted to run around and dance in the mountains! And o, speaking of mountains, Kashmir seems so beautiful too!!!!! Don't know however how safe it is to visit, but I definitely will one day! I've been to Una in Himachal Pradesh once to visit a Sikh shrine, with family. Kafi choti thi, but I still remember the mountains and those cute monkeys!! 😍

Good that you are moving out from that place. Negative energy can spoil the mood and have a huge impact on mental health.

Oo I'm a big thriller/mystery/detective fan too!! More in books than movies/shows but I do watch movies too! Oh haven't checked that one out! Will add it to my list!

True, I've lived my whole life here, my parents are still not willing to shift, they love this house and it's memories so much 😅😂 I do somewhere understand it, it's from where they started their life in a true sense in Belgium and from where they got successful. My brother and I have been however adamant on shifting, so finally happening, my parents will still take some more time I think but in the main time we can enjoy some independent time

I want to visit Halstatt and Vienna.

Most of us were happy during the first lockdown. It definitely made everyone good and even the nature breathed. 😆 It was strict lockdown. Then it became too much and people started losing patience.

Oh lucky you. At least they thought about you. 😆

Aahh I completely forgot about that place where it's always day or always night!! Thanks for reminding me, has also been on my bucket list!

Yes the nature healing, I was so glad! Did you know for the first time in 50 years people in Punjab were able to see the mountains in the neighbouring state as the smog and pollution cleared? I never knew they were visible at a time! I asked my father as I first thought it was a hoax, but he confirmed! Fish returning to canals of Venice, Co2 levels dropping, I was so happy! Now everything is back to normal 😕
