Aishwarya or Kareena: who had better chemistry with Hrithik?

Aishwarya was the first choice but she refused... no wait😆

These are Hrithik's two best on-screen pairings for me, but they're really very different.

Aishwarya and Hrithik is more mature and 'dignified.' Kareena and Hrithik is much more raw and emotional.

Hrithik-Aishwarya at their worst in Dhoom 2 (or should we say least amazing?) > Hrithik-Kareena at their best (Yaadein).

Actually I feel that the most authentic chemistry that they had is when they were friends in the second part of Mujhse Dosti Karoge.

MPKDH is clearly OTT and its own galaxy. Ignoring that, yes, HR/KK did some weak films together. But if you watch their scenes in K3G or some in Yaadein, even, it's not hard to understand why many liked them as a pair (nevermind all the IRL drama).

MPKDH is something I mostly set aside; the entire movie was a cringe-fest and OTT. Abhishek was the exception, but given how OTT everyone else was, it feels like Abhishek wasn't in on the joke or something.

I think their most authentic chemistry is K3G, which they did well in together, and then portions of Yaadein. It's not like Yaadein was a great movie, but for me, their chemistry/scenes was the best part of it. It was very raw at times, but you could see flashes of it and why many people liked them.

MDK is also not a great film, but it's a fun watch. Part of why it didn't quite work, obnoxious sindoor ending aside, is because Hrithik and Kareena go together better than him and Rani. If I recall correctly, the first half was Hrithik flirting and Kareena mostly disinterested, but their limited back and forth in the second half (i.e. "Hey, Mr. America" and "Hey, Miss Universe," etc.) probably is a better reflection of their dynamic, yeah.

I think they were liked by many as a pair in the early 2000s (including me, I had the posters!!!!!) is mainly because of the songs. I think the rocked in all the song videos they done.

And they both broke out in 2000 - they were seen as the HOTTEST young stars, the future, that hype favoured them both. But the quality of their films didn't live up to that.

In their early days they were trying SO hard to be stars. It was only post 2004 that they both found their creative streaks.

If they worked together today, they would be a force to reckon with. I would LOVE to see them together on screen in more than one film ❤️

Kareena and Hrithik would have made great siblings onscreen ... they have zero chemistry as a romantic couple. Aishwarya and Hrithik, on the other hand, you might as well leave the room or book them one. 😛

Can’t pick. He had great chemistry with both.
