My wishful thinking is that of Raavi, how everyone calls him naukar like whatever, and when she lashes out. He asks her:

“Will it make a difference if he changes his clothes, behaves like a gentleman, will he become like others? Will he become Dev like she ever wanted in her life? Will he become Dev, and will she start loving him?

Strangely enough, in the past 2 days of my disappearance, when I wasn't on my fav, guilt pleasure site, Tumblr, I was looking up stories of Shiva-Parvati, and realized just how many references the show has made to Mahadev and Shiva.

Mahadev, as Shiva is portrayed on PS, did not care for material pleasures. He lived in his own comfort, and he was also one of the most benevolent gods. What I loved most about Mahadev's story was how he fell in love with Parvati for her perseverance and not for her physical beauty, and I am hoping Shiva falls in love with her personality and perseverance rather than her cute, outwardly appearance (the show is already doing this by showing his "proud" looks)

As for @bold, I'm certainly confident a discussion like that would come between them, and soon now that Maami's conversation happened. However, her initial answer might not be something we would like to hear. Raavi loved Dev for very, very superficial reasons. So I wouldn't doubt she would say something like, "YES!! Your clothes do matter. Your junglee attitude does matter!" initially. Their recent NDE experience is Raavi's first glimpse into Shiva's true personality. If she fell in love with him that easily, where would the fun be?

She needs several more examples and encounters of Shiva's love. She needs to see that Shiva will do anything for the people that he loves, not just her. She needs to see that Shiva is willing to give up everything for the people that he loves. And she needs to see that Shiva is one of the most patient, attentive souls there is who also has sound advice (His advice for Dev pre-marriage track was a glimpse of this for the audience, but now she needs to personally see this) And she needs to see that underneath everything, he is also a fun and enjoyable person.

-Shiva's tears 😭😭 Kanwar does beautifully in all the scenes, but his emotional scenes are some of his best, whether it is anger or grief. All his emotions spill over subtly and he becomes an open book. Even if he is in the wrong (i.e., picking up the sickle and putting it against Maami), you can't help but sympathize with his character

-Raavi attempted to stand up by breaking up the fight, but Shiva's shouts stopped her. And in my opinion, rightfully so. Sometimes, we just need to hear the truth, and the full truth, to heal. In Shiva's case, he never knew the full extent of Maami's hate. But today, he knows, and now he can grow from it.

Overall thoughts of the episode:

This was much needed. ShiVi's relationship cannot grow without addressing the major elephant in the room which is Maami. Shiva and Raavi both need to hear the ugly truth. They are still at a stage where all their emotions are mixed and confusing. And now what they need is time to reflect.

What you said here is so true because in yesterday's episode also Raavi said tu humesha se toh MAmi ki wajah se mujhe hurt krta aaya h but he is unable to do so and he also left mami hand a few seconds before so for Raavi to understand Shiva completely she have to get familiar with the deep rooted hatred of Shiva for MAmi of which she had a front row seat today pehle Suman k through aur baad main Shiva maybe this might help her in growing closer to Shiva and the drunken scene isnt required anymore

Okay, I don't know if it's been discussed... but that BTS pic where Raavi strangely dresses like Rishita and it's around the time of some birthday party... I really, really hope the family planned some drama event where Raavi is pretending to be Rishita and Shiva is pretending to be Dev.

Can you imagine the ridiculousness as those two say:

Raavi (very close to wanting to run away): But baby, I love you!!

Shiva (half wanting to vomit): I... love... you... too...b-baby

Krish (whispering behind Raavi): Don't forget bhabi, your next line is "If you really love me, then let's make a baby!"

Scene pans out with Shiva and Raavi both wanting to murder Krish for his awful screenplay and dialogues 🤣 and Rishita clapping in the background and turning to Dev, "They are doing such a good job. This is totally like us. Isn't it, baby!?!?"
