Yes, I think the dream sequence is important. If you remember Ishqi's love list ... he needs to tick every point for her on that list. Ishqi has already ticked all points for him in both (Love & Life Partner) lists... Also this is great development - everything he considered fantasy or juvenile or inappropriate or un-sanskari, he is completely unraveling on his own ... thereby, coming to the point that: Ishq Par Zor Nahi.
