My family has plenty of such folks - IITians and IIM studied folks who use completely shitty language, and do the same on twitters. If not making those comments, they will go around retweeting and sharing such messages and videos - I hold them equally responsible

If it were their idol Kangana that’s what she would’ve said and they would’ve still continued to bootlick her but when it comes to the other stars they are very happy misquoting them without doing any research.

Oh I know. I have plenty of bigots in my family too. The crazy thing is that I've seen them slowly become this way. Maybe it was always in their hearts but I never saw the kind of public hatred they spread now before Modi came into power. Now they openly post hateful things on facebook and the majority of them are doctors!! Their kids, my cousins, make weird SSR posts and brag about boycotting Khan movies. Family Whatsapp groups are like garbage dumps where conspiracy theories rule. It's no different from Trump making it okay to show yourself as a racist. At least before people understood that it was shameful and would hide it even if they believed in it. Now they're proud of it. They've all been in hiding during COVID but they appear occasionally to bash normal people and how it's their own fault because they don't follow rules, to find excuses for the government's failures.

I don’t get it, 12crores for someone who is so established is not that huge sum. She deserves it and earned it, it should be more . But what do I know🤷‍♀️
