This is how I began my journey with the show.
I saw the sindhoor scene on youtube so I went to check the episode. There I saw the scene and left the episode midway. A few days later, I saw gifs of the pole sweat wiping scene and then youtube video of the catch and fall and payment scene. I began following the show after Pallavi screams at Raghav and the scene where Aayi calls Raghav and Farhad delivery boys. After that small funny scene, I was hooked and I checked the old episodes. To me my favorite scene is when Pallavi is sitting alone in her house and Raghav is standing with a drink in front of the chandelier, though it isn’t the scene which drew me into the show.❤️ It’s still one of the scene I rewatch the most.

I stared watching after reading a funny convo (Twitter) between GHKPM character and Raghav's character.

Honestly the promos didn't do them justice. It genuinely felt like it was story being retold with fresh actors. So my journey began much later...i think around episode 20...where he messes up the Saree Dukan with his cheap tactics...gosh there were some cringe worthy dialogues...even though he back tracked by saying he was joking, it still didn't sit well with me, i was about to switch off but my OCD kicked in..so i had to finish the episode and was i glad...the way Pallavi gave it back to him by being practical. Told him i am renting the shop, so you little say in what i sell and that if she starts a strike in front of his showroom his loss will be bigger. I liked that finally we have a girl who can be a little practical and not be damsel in distress. I also liked the immediate scene of Raghav admiring Pallivi's spirit. i am tired of serials that take so long to get to even this stage.

I have plenty of favorite scenes post that. i absolutely like the Lion track, i think that is where they became comfortable in each other spaces (unknowingly). Pallivi dressing up his wound and getting distracted at the same time by his closeness was on point

There are some very refreshing things about the show like you all pointed but one that is currently my favourite is that they don't stretch the MU for too long, maybe because the original MU has been going on for 10 yrs (Poor Raghav). This fast track gives them the ability for the character to grow. Another thing that i also liked is Raghav urging Pallavi to dream and live for herself too. Not a lot men/ fictional character show that mettle.

And above all both the actors are currently doing a fabulous job! and many scenes have made reach for a glass of water ☺️

So as you have mentioned insta, youtube and Twitter people😆, I am one of them, This account on Insta had put RaghVi's VMs, I watched them and liked them too, but was bit reluctant to give it a chance, since time constraints, and even had a medical emergency in the family. But after a few days came across a clip on insta of RAGHVI and Harish and got a bit confused, didn't understand what was going on, so decided to watch it from start, usually if I am watching a show, I watch the current episode and binge watch from beginning, but for this particular show I decided that I won't watch the current episode unless I have finished watching all the previous epiosdes, completed all those 40 odd episodes in 4 days. So you could say I started watching from around 40's, maybe a bit late for most of you, but I have started watching shows when they have completed 100 to 150 + episodes as well, so for me it was pretty early.

Now lets come to my fav scene, so their first scene "The sindoor scene" and "mehndi scene", they could be filmy but are one of my fav. Then the scene where he is adoring her while she is getting ready, their notes exchange scene which had a smile on their faces, and the latest one where they sneeze together and cute eye lock and smile holds my heart too.

But to top list is the "HOLI wala scene, when he accidentally puts colors on her" and then their eye lock. ❤️ Read all the comments, I guess it is only in my fav list.

RaghVi/SaiShi had me glued to the show, but even the supporting characters amazed me when I got to know some facts about them. My family used to watch this show where Pallavi's Aai was shown as the Maami of the ML, and while watching it a few days back, I got to know that she is not shown, I thought maybe she got some other show, and when I watched MHRW, I was not able to recognize her, infact someone had tagged her on insta, so got to know she is the same person. Pallavi's Baba used to play the ML's Baba in the same show.

I also want to talk about the fandom, I used to come here just to post my VMs, I don't know when I started actively participating in the forum topics and activities, you all are so sweet that as RAGHVI/SAISHI made me watch the show, you all have made me stay here.🤗

Phew, my longest post on IF. Hope bore nahi kia.

Chalo, main uninvited tapak padhti hu 😆

My roommate was watching from first episode, one day I was bored to death so I sat with her and watched the 1 March episode where Pallavi goes to his house and they have the fun banter and exchange with him treating the pad as a regular thing (god, I was SO DAMN impressed with that scene and how they normalised it) and then in the last scene, he has her on the highway tied to the chair. I was surprised to say the least to see the transition between them in the same episode itself and started wondering how they became enemies?! coz I had no clue about Anjali. Then I binged watched the first few episodes and started watching the show 😆

MY favorite is the orphanage scene where Pallavi meets him as Mr. Ramaswamy and then is just being a nice jolly person smiling and carefree with even the senior citizens feeling so so so happy. I JUST loved the simplicity of it + them seeing each other in a new light and appreciating the other (tho Pallavi is not aware of that till date). No other scene has touched my heart like that one did tbh ❤️

I also love the scene after marriage where they had the confrontation, he leaves and both are crying coz they are right in their own place, lost hopeless souls who need a fresh new beginning and to get over the past. It was brilliant, well done and truly just felt very very authentic AF. No overacting or tp dialogues to ruin the moment, they confronted their own shortcomings and that was just enough ☯️

Ahhh what a pretty thread. I can't wait to read people's stories of getting hooked!!

I have a really strange one, but here goes.

You know how Twitter fandoms can sometimes get super toxic? Some random tweets showed up on timeline mocking one of the scenes from this show, by some other fandom, during one of those random Twitter wars. While it was a mocking tweet, I found the shots and the cinematography so gorgeous, it stuck with me. This was the sindoor scene at Charminar from episode one, and this was back in the first week of the show. I was also a huge fan of the previous show by this production house, though it derailed quickly, but I figured if I can get a good 50-70 episodes, why not? I made a mental note to check it out, and binged the first six episodes that weekend.

Now for the part, jahaan mujhe joote padenge sab se. I was extremely put off by Raghav's character in those episodes. He came across as extremely aggressive, and made some very misogynistic statements. Having seen shows with an angry-young-man male lead (especially the trend of justifying unforgivable behavior under the guise of 'past trauma', which I thought they might do) and not interested in getting invested in one more inevitably toxic and abusive relationship which would just make my BP shoot up in later episodes, I decided to cut my losses. I actually have messages which I sent to my friends- "The aesthetics of this show are so on point, and the leads are hot af, but I can't with the aggression and misogyny. What a shame."

Come next weekend, I had some really mind numbing work that I had to do, and I needed some background noise, so I again binged the next week's episodes in the background while doing my work. I stayed in this slightly disengaged mode for another week or two, where I would just watch clips here and there and catch up on written updates. They did soften up Raghav a smidge, and dial back the misogyny from the very first few episodes eventually, and that's when I started watching full-time, around Mansi's wedding functions and the subsequent Lion track.

By now I also had another ridiculous reason for watching- my closest and oldest friend is named Raghav, and he's as different from Raghav Rao as chalk from cheese. He's one of the most humble, sweet, non-confrontational, and low-key people one would ever meet. And he hates ITV shows with a deep passion. So, like any good friend would do, I kept sending him clips of Raghav Rao behaving crazily, Pallavi screeching his name, just to get on his nerves. You guys cannot imagine the kind of bribes I've been offered to stop watching this show 🤣🤣

And aise hi dekhte dekhte, I ended up getting super invested. Raghav surprised me by deviating from the typical route of the angry young man in such shows. Pallavi's spunk impressed me beyond words. The way the show tied humor, drama and romance together in a realistic manner was just very endearing to me. And I have wanted to see a story where we go from enmity to friendship to love in ITV for a long time, instead of the switch from passionate hatred to passionate love, with no foundation of trust and friendship, which we see very often. I like that this show is demonstrating that chemistry is not all about the ML manhandling and pushing the FL up against walls.

I'm not able to pin down any particular scene, but I think it was around the wedding that I really, truly fell for the show and went from superficial, casual watching to getting deeply invested. It was from the day of Raghav's MU being cleared, and his instant regret that I started waking up at 6am to catch new episodes. Felt too good to be true- the ML realizing his mistake because of him being a genuine good person who effed up, and not because he's now in love? Unheard of! I also appreciate how Raghav and Pallavi hold their own, in terms of strengths and weaknesses. Probably just cynical after past experiences, but I've seen pairings where the guy is just criminally abusive, and that's countered with, "Yeah, but see, she can be so annoying and idealistic, so she deserves it", which just feels so unjust. And since then, I've only been getting more and more into the show and the story they're telling.

God, sorry, this got way too long. But I really loved going down memory lane. Much like Pallavi and Raghav, this wasn't love at first sight for me- far from it. Went from instant dislike, to begrudging appreciation, to genuine fondness and now I'm absolutely in love. Thanks for the tag, @Bee222!

You're the first one who called the thread pretty 🥺 Thank you! ❤️❤️

I love this post.. definitely not too long! Loved going down your memory lane with you I'll admit I've never hated Raghav Rao, but only bcz he was shown to be a don 😆 And also bcz he carried his personality with pride. Usually we see these kind of MLs start glaring when they're insulted, bcz they can't believe they're being described like that If Raghav finds you insulting him, he will probably do much more than just glaring 🤣 But it won't be bcz he believes himself to be better, but bcz you dared to speak against him 😆 Also one thing that sets him apart — usually these MLs behave all nice with their close ones, they're only AYM with the FL. But Raghav was angry around everyone. The way he came and slapped Harish, it was clear he was a man who expected his orders to be taken seriously — by everyone. I'm not saying these are things I started loving him for, but these are things that drew me in. I was convinced from the beginning that RR was a different ML from the best — different and more interesting. I have no idea when I fell for him so strongly, but I know I never really saw him as harshly as others did, bcz I started watching from the old age home scenes — the ones where he was becoming soft towards her. After watching that, I refused to believe this man was heartless — even when I went back and saw him tying her in front of the truck. Like I said, I liked seeing him own his ruthlessness — I was happy I wasn't getting a whitewashed don 😆 Also his first scene of entering the mansion all alone, after throwing away the jacket — there was a strange loneliness in that scene that pulled me towards him. He was powerful but all alone.

But yeah, it was Pallavi who drew me in to the show — both she and Shivangi. In the very first scene I saw, I was captivated by her eyes. And the way she carried this character — the grace and poise that defined Pallavi, her never-give-up attitude... she had an immense strength that made me love her so much, even when she was cowering in fear. And every time she has crossed swords with Raghav, I've cheered her on 🥳 After everything that she's gone through in her life, the way she continues to treat everyone with love and kindness, tries to see the best version of people... it's amazing 👏

I think this is the first show where I can write essays of appreciation for both the male and female leads Kudos to our makers for that! 👏 Even this current redemption track beats everything else I've ever seen in ITV. His guilt had nothing to do with love, it was just him feeling wrecked over messing up an innocent's life. And the way his own past played into that — uff that whole sequence was too heartwrenching! Both Shivi and Sai broke down too brilliantly 💔💔

And I love how you behaved like an ideal friend to your Raghav 🤣 That's exactly what I'd do to my besties, so I'm proud of you 👍🏼🤣 I can totally imagine the kind of words you have received from him for this torture 🤣

Thanks for the lovely comment, dear 🤗 I asked to share your love stories with the show, and here I got a beautiful one! 😳❤️

On hotstar I came across MHRW promo and to be very honest I was not at all interested in watching this show. I thought same gissa pitta story hoga angry young man and bubbly girl and maine promo ko hawa main filter kardiya🤣

Then one day at night I was just randomly going through tweets of GHKP as I was watching only leads scene of GHKP back then and came across a tweet and the tweet had mentioned about Raghav and Kaka car wala scene and that tweet was really funny. Then after thinking a lot I decided Let's just go and only watch this episode. So on Saturday night around 1am at night I started watching episode 6 and I really like the thappad scene and laughed hard on Kaka and Raghav car scene and finally sweat pochne wala scene came and I was gonecase by then and I was like these actors can act and the episode ended and then my mind was wresting with my heart ki should I continue watching this show as I don't want to get addicted as this is ITV and after few months pakka I will have a heart break😭 I had nothing to do so thought episode 6 dekh liya now let's watch episode 5 as karne ko kuch hai he nahi time pass ke liye dekh he lete hai and I liked Raghav's swag and the way he bajaoed band of Anjali maaza aagya😎 Now again my heart and brain was fighting and I thought neend tho aa nahi raha chalo time paas ke liye episode 4 dekh lete hai and liked Raghav's clubbing scene and Raghvi's first mulakat Hate at first sight wala and agian my heart and mind was fighting. Socha heart and mind tho fight karte he rahenge let's keep them a side and watch episode 3 and I loved the BG of Raghav Rao and it was very catchy and really liked that Anjali tried to seduce this guy but uska pura mehnat tai tai piss🤪🤣 Now I was thinking episode 1 dekhu ki episode 2 dekhu. I thought episode 1 boring hoga let's watch episode 2 and loved Raghvi cross connection plumber wala conversation. That was Raghvi's first banter Then I was thinking episode 1 dekhu kya as subha hone ko tha and I was very sleepy and had to wakeup again for my Sunday service after a lot of thinking I thought ek he tho episode bacha hai let's watch and the 1 episode was it for me to give my heart to MHRW❤️ Raghav's pyar wala dialogue was so deep and everything about first episode was ❤️ I loved it and then there was no turning back😎 After my Sunday service I again binged watched all the 6 episode but this time starting from episode 1 and I was waiting for Monday for the 7th episode and joined MHRW forum😳

I liked everything thing from RR Mansion to dialogues to story of a window and don😳 beside Deshmukh family 🤢

Guys you might be thinking this girl is weird who in this world watch episodes ulta I do and I confess I am weird Enjoy my weirdness🤪

🤗

(Please ignore typos if any)😊

Ye kya ulta pulta order hai show dekhne ka 🤣 But I loved how you pointed out the special bits of each epi, phir se yaad aa gayi Raghav's clubbing sweatshirt, that blue wala... continues to be one of my most favourite looks in the show ☺️ Since then, I have been campaigning for him to get more sweatshirts 😆 But koi sunta hi nahi 😭 This guy pulls off everything well though

Main bhi promos dekhke uninterested thi 🤣 Socha wahi do-good FL clashing with badtameez ML... aur nahi dekhna Par dekha to maza aa gaya 😆 Ho to wahi raha tha, but their story and their personalities are something hatke 😎 And yes our mansion.. it's just too good Baaki saare mansions jal bhun ke rakh ho jayenge humare RR mansion ko dekhkar 😎🤣

Thanks for sharing Blessy 🤗🤗

The thread is beautiful, loved it. I started watching from the very 1st episode. Actually the promo got my eye and I was thinking why not check this out. It looked attractive with an arrogant handsome hunk and a beautiful girl who was a widow. Felt right out of M&B books. And then on the first episode loved the way the scene was shot where Raghav throws the sindoor on Pallavi and his scenes with Farad later. RR mansion was something else which gave the elegant Don feel and I started watching it. Don’t even know when I started loving the show and a huge fan of Saishi. The rest is all history 😄

Yay, another one who calls my thread beautiful! Thanks Diya 🤗

So you're an old-timer, right here from epi 1 ⭐️ Seems like that sindoor shot impressed a lot of people 😳 It didn't get to me all that much, but RR mansion definitely did! You're right, it totally felt like the den of a don ❤️

Thanks for sharing, Diya 😳 May I ask what's M&B though?

Hey! We've talked before in one of my threads here, I remember you as the NBT fan 😆 So it was Sai who singlehandedly managed to drag you into MHRW Well, I guess it wasn't a solo effort, youtube conspired as well 😆 Either way, glad to have you here! 🤗

Mind me asking, which scene it was that youtube promo showed you? Since this thread is specifically named "Love at First Scene" I'd like to know 😆

Absolutely. Truly, finally we have a male lead that I can root for and a couple I can ship with all my heart without hating myself If someone had told me back when I had first started watching this show how much I would fall in love with these two idiots, I'd never have believed it. And here we are..

Excellent character progression for both the leads, and also the supporting cast. It adds so much realism to the show. I feel like I'm watching real people respond to situations in real way, instead of contrived scenarios. I truly can't wait to see this story play out, but I already know this show, RaghVi as a couple, and Raghav and Pallavi as individuals, have made a permanent space in my heart.

For me, the most interesting side characters are definitely Aai and baba. For aai, I love seeing her struggle between her conflicting loyalties... it's a constant battle for her. To be a mom who wants to speak up for her child? Or to be a wife whose husband does not like to be argued with? I'm looking forward to seeing her bond more with Raghav... maybe that bond can give her the strength to finally take a stand — not just for Pallavi, but for herself as well.

As for baba, I love to hate him. I know real life people like that, as well as a toned down version of Sulo 😆 I'll take a Sulo any day over baba, bcz his hypocrisy gets to me. He simply doesn't know how worthless his mentally is, and his twisted mindset towards the rich and powerful (of whom Raghav is the flagbearer currently) gives him this very, very annoying holier-than-thou attitude. It's why he can make that outlandish demand he is making now 🤔

What saddens me is how amma's character has been changed. She easily had the potential to have the most interesting character development, yet she flits around like a pendulum and I have no idea what to make of her It's just sad 🥺😭
