I've seen it three times - once with me shrieking at the scenes and wanting to cry out of happiness seeing ShiVi scenes, another with me trying to see where this is all going for ShiVi and lastly with my biased Shiva fan lens.
Shiva trying to figure out his new found attraction is the cutest. I've never seen him so confused or stutter so much. And I'll admit I'm in love with the way Shiva admires his wife - my life has become me staring at him while he stares at his wife π€¦ββοΈ. But I have to say I hope it stays as an attraction for now and nothing more. As much as I'm dying to see him in love, there's a few things that stops me from wanting it fully -
1. I thought it was meant to be a slow burn? But he's falling faster than my optimism about life!
2. I wish for Raavi to feel something too so his heart won't break - we've seen both get affected by their proximity but we've only seen Shiva getting confused by it and see the change in his behaviour.
3. I want him to fall in love after they conversate more. I don't understand the concept of falling in love without knowing each other properly. I just need them to talk properly and openly.
This time line is the most confusing than the MCU one. Everything's happening so fast, within a month of their marriage...I actually don't know how long it's been. But they both don't want to leave the marriage but what do they want from it?
Having Raavi 1.0 without all her Dev dev dev crap back will be a treat. But at the same time I hope she doesn't become that same airy fairy girl again, I need her to be not naive and be smart about things. It's cute that she's becoming that old Raavi to get a reaction out of Shiva. Without all her Dev talks she might actually start to realise what an important part Shiva has played in her life. I felt like after the misunderstandings were broken she'll be more accepting of the marriage, especially after some of dialogues like 'tham le yeh haath Shiva' etc. Did she just actually mean hold my hand and nothing more? If so who says hold my hand like that? lol. There was one dialogue in today's episode which made me feel like she wasn't still thinking properly about a marriage with Shiva, or she just wanted to continue and live how they are. I think she's comfortable this way, especially now that she knows he's not a thorn in her life.
Why is Shiva constantly doing all these strenuous jobs?! He's had nothing but injuries and beats for past few weeks, and he's still able to get and carry around aam while everyone else enjoys eating it. And now he's back to cutting logs! And if he's going to cut them, atleast think about the audience and his wife and do it shirtless! ππ.
The other day when the kangan scene came I laughed. Shiva-kangan-mami combo has been an epic part of PS and has a fanbase of its own. I mentioned this on another post - when a character is shown as grey, the antagonist or even as humans who make mistakes, it's easier for me to cut off some of their character (nasty parts) and enjoy some of their funnier scenes. A bit like mami - I don't accept her or forgive her, but I can appreciate her funny scenes - she makes me laugh. But the precap just made me snap back to how seriously Shiva has felt about this situation. 10+ yrs of hatred is not an easy thing to do. I've forgotten how much it means to him, how much he's fought for his mother's insult, injustice and right. Now that he's sworn on his mother surely he'll get it back.
I hope Raavi doesn't get hurt, the last thing they need is more injuries and guilt. Raavi didn't hear mami's part so she might just think Shiva started it. At one point it looked like she was on the steps trying to go up, maybe to get help, but she looks like she's fallen. Maybe Shiva will see that and help her? I don't know. But I do reckon Raavi will get those kangans back for Shiva or to stop that fight forever, but Suman will give them to her. What a day that'll be! I don't want any misunderstandings at the moment - it's too early, the kidnapping one only just broke recently.
