Copying what I wrote in another thread about ahaan, just for discussion :

Ahaan strikes me as a really intense person. His emotions don't really make an appearance but when they do, this guy is literally driven by them.

In ishqi's case, only his emotions drive him that's why he was always irritated by her even when she did nothing. Sanskaar bas bahaana tha asli chakkar toh hormones ka tha 😆

Basically he couldn't accept that he has always been intensely attracted to ishqi so he made up these sanskar issues so that it can stop him. But sadly bechare ke woh bhi kaam na aaya. He's a total goner now and he has accepted it.
