What's nice about this show is that the evil person is not mindlessly winning at everything and everyone around them isn't super brainless either.

Finished 9th episode

So completely behind everyone in this forum 😆

Show is moving at well pace. Uff Maham is seriously so full of herself. However I like they haven’t shown her to be SUPER unrealistically evil, like Fariya was in Fitrat. I wish Navera had the damn guts to slap Maham especially after the gross accusation she made on her saying she was looking at obscene pictures! And then Dawar seriously thought she was 🤪pagalpan. I thought Dawar was Navera’s friend but right now their relationship seems so rocky. And I don’t understand why he feels so bad for Maham when she has not done anything that would make him want to give her a diamond ring, or 5cr or anything. I guess lattoo hogya ishq mein right away ! I love Rida’s character: the perfect amount of outspoken to attempt to keep Maham in her limits, and enjoyed where she beat her stepbrother up.. he is such a dumb character.. overly spoiled just for the sake for being a boy. Wedding scene where Rida and him fought was awesome. Although Maham’s mother thinks this marraige is more of a revenge, its fairly obvious that’s not what it’s about: Maham just wants money. Revenge hota toh she would also want to give her sisters good suitors and she said she wasn’t gonna play matchmaker already in 9th episode.

Overall its going really well so far. I like that no character is irritating like in multiple GEO dramas they have (Fitoor mein DN ki family, KED mein Somia’s brother, Teri Behisi ka har character). They have so many shades and the show is gripping too.

U know, sometimes I feel maham does drugs. Her expressions look really weird at times.

Also looks like salman will use maham now, cause of the 5crore.

That’s very much possible and I think it would make for a satisfying watch.

About Maham’s eyes, drugs ka pata nahi but the actress is trying really hard to make Maham come across as this cool and calculated person which isn’t quite working most of the time.

And the way she is now trying to pitch Dawar with Navera, it looks like she is trying to set them up together and wiggle herself out with that 5 crores intact.

Today is really felt bad for Mahams mom

The asian culture doesn't allow the mom to stay with the girl after wedding

And if they want to keep the girl at home the Ghar jamai always turns out to be good for nothing

After raising 3 daughters if the mom has to stay all alone by herself in the end....this is so helplessly pathetic

That's why asian parents r so desperate for a son coz at least he will stay

I really wish asian culture comes out of it and normalizes girls single parents to stay with the girl after wedding ....that way no one will be so desperate for a son

And this can only be normalizes if the girl is also shown to be financially independent and taking part in house expenses

It's really too burdensome for the man if he has to bear the financial burden of so many people

If the girl is also earning then she can also req for a room for her mother in the in laws house as she is also paying

I was wrong. Rida finding out about Essa wanting to marry Navera wasn’t a big plot point at all. Essa told her offscreen!

but that’s ok. I like that this show somehow always keeps me guessing. I’m happy that Rida is going to London; from the first photo Usama khan ever posted of mohlat BTS, he was with sabeena (Rida) while she wore western wear and I figured they’d end up in London together (and that’s the same pic that made me think Essa was going to marry Rida even before Navera told him to).

My next big guess is that Essa is going to start to fall for Rida only for her to die. (Yeah I still think that’s going to happen.). Rida dying doesn’t mean EssaVera is going to happen, I just don’t see Rida surviving. I’m just kind of bummed both Essa and Rida are about to have their screen time greatly reduced.

I actually think kinza is a great actress. I think the nuances she gives Maham (like how she controls her voice, her body language, small details like how she takes on and off her sunglasses, etc) show how much growth she’s had over the last few years. I just don’t know how much more of Maham I can take. I feel like Dawar. Her constant evilpana is driving me crazy; she’s always scheming and plotting. Like can you just have a chill day for once, Maham?!! She wakes up every day and chooses violence.

Some of the scenes between Dawar and Navera today were sort of implying nonverbally that Dawar may be starting to feel something for Navera. I hope my interpretation is wrong, as I only want Dawar to fall for Navera when Maham is long gone, otherwise Dawar will be proving Maham right.

I don’t understand how tahir and Zahida can be so different but also so similar in that they are both the worst parents that ever existed. Like Rida, idk why Navera is so easily agreeing to a ghar damad. It was selfish of Zahida to ask Navera to do that, but at least Navera has the sense to try and think of a way to make money outside of the men in her life. Good for Navera. But tahir, after being so absent for the girls, now wants to tell Zahida what to do with Navera. I’m glad Zahida stood up for herself a little bit, but her asking Navera to find a husband that stays at home is incredibly self-serving, and tahir is right to say it’s not s good decision. But again, Zahida is right that he has no real right to the girls, especially when Navera is the reason he threw them all out of the house.

It’s getting more and more difficult for me to review this drama. Its biggest draw was Essa and Navera, but that’s starting to look like a dream that’ll never come true. Aside from that, I loved Rida and her bond with Navera but now Navera is moving to London, and I don’t know how much more Maham scheming I can watch with minimal Essa and Rida. Oh well, as I said in the beginning of today’s review, this drama keeps me guessing. Maybe a week from now, I’ll be totally shocked at the developments that have occurred, but for now, I’m a little bored.

I want Rida to survive, that will be a good message, that tumours can be treated if the right treatment is given on the right time. I don't want Naveera Dawar Essa triangle, as that will be bad as both guys are married to naveera sisters. They can bring a new guy for Naveera and let Rida stay happy with Essa.

Zahida is the worst one, she is using Naveera all life and now doesn't want her to marry a rich guy like her other daughters did. How can she be so selfish..

I glad no misunderstanding will happen between Rida Naveera regarding the Essa wanting to marry Naveera angle.

my only frustration at them possibly bringing a new guy from Navera would be that they already introduced the perfect new guy for her, only for him to end up marrying her other sister. They really are going to try and force DaVera, and as I’ve said many times before, it’s hard for me to root for Dawar and Navera as a couple because EssaVera was so superior.

I just can’t see Rida surviving to the end. If she does make it, I’ll be thrilled as she’s my favorite character on the series. However, in my opinion, there’s too much writing on the wall for her death. I’ve been wrong about other things in this drama, but I keep saying this one because it’s the one prediction I think will definitely happen.
