Babusahib ka Happy Birthday

A nice follow up episode today :) My expectations were low in terms of continuity but surprisingly they did maintain it for the most part Adi-Imlie wise too😆.

The T family returned from their jail yatra reflecting on izzat ke lost moti😆.....toh Imlie gave them a pep talk ki aise hi nahin kho jaate moti 😆.....Ts are fully back in the zone of Imlie being their hero and feeling grateful for her saving them. Adi bechara though was wallowing in the guilt of his family being put through this cuz AC was pissed off with him.....awww....for once though his family is feeling bad for HIM instead of blaming him for everything......haha

Phir gears huye shift thanks to Rupi di reminding everyone ki Adi ka birthday hai agle din😆.....and isi ke saath Imlie ka bhi mood badla.....haha such a cute philosophy she quoted - saal mein dukh 200 baar aate hain par janamdin ek hi baar aata hai".....toh manaana toh padega hi.....lol sabhi Ts also got pepped up thanks to Imlie ka enthusiasm and old days ka vibe started coming back 😊.

The Sundar-Imlie-Nishant scene in the college was also surprisingly nice.....we got Sundar-Imlie ka fun banter.....haha at Sundar thinking Imlie ka WANTED poster lagaa hai college mein🤣.....and Imlie ribbing him again ki padhna likhna seekh le woh Imlie se cuz she's student of the month at the college.....lol our girl really is superwomaniya.....itna saara personal life drama manage karte huye bhi college mein top kar rahi hai🤣.

So Nishant ki Pallavi is Cafeteria waali Didi, haan? 😆.....Imlie already seems to have a good equation with her too based on how she was raving about her cooking and how PYARI she is....Imlie ko sach mein sabhi pyare lagte hain😆.....but jokes apart, Pallavi ka entry was nice and the little angsty scene she got with Nishant looks decent plot-wise for now....deffo way better than Didi-KC bakwaas😆. So let's see what this plot shift brings......for now I'm happy about anything that takes this story away from Didi bakwaas for a bit😆.

Adi's actual birthday surprise was so cutely done.....hahaha at Imlie donning a patrakaar avatar today to do a birthday broadcast for her Babusahib😆.......main toh waise bhi keh rahi hoon ki Imlie ko journalist banna chahiye, policewaali nahin😆. But how hilarious was that little narration.....ki Babusahib ke janamdin ki khushi mein Dilli ke sabhi log akdu banke ghumenge, including langoors🤣.....aww@ the way Adi cracked a little smile at her nautankis......haha no one has the knack to make this cranky patthar smile like she does😆.

I liked the simplicity of the birthday celebration :) .....the way the whole family wished him and sang happy birthday itne pyar se.....it feels surreal to see the Ts being happy and themselves after so long with all the maatam in their lives.....this birthday celebration had that vibe of family togetherness as Adi cut the cake and fed everyone too. Bechara gaya end mein Imlie ko cake khilaane but ofcourse interrupt toh hona hi tha😆......oh well, there was so much other warmth in the epi, that little bit hardly matters.

Kal ka precap scene toh aaya nahin but aage naya precap de diya😆....Adi asking for a gift from Imlie for his birthday - likely the gift of telling the whole family about their truth😆.....Imlie maan bhi gayi lagti hai but last minute pe paltegi for some reason most likely😆....or they will get interrupted for some reason.....dekhte hain.....lol.....but interesting that all this is happening after Didi has delivered the "good news" of divorce ki date....Adi hardly wasted a minute before asking Imlie for her support in telling the family about their own marriage😆.

Anyways, ab toh next week hi pata chalega if some ultimatum happens😆.

Overall good episode today, I am glad we’re moving in the right direction! 😊 loved everyone today, pallavi’s intro was nice also adi imlie had that connect and sunlie banter also good and imaliya ofcourse was a ball of sunshine spreading joy 🤗

Forgot to mention but it's such an Adi-like thing to forget his own birthday😆.

Also had to laugh at Aparna rolling her eyes ki she jheloed so much dard to birth him and he forgot his own birthday😆.

It just gives you this sense of the kind of guy Adi is.....woh in sab cheezon pe dwell hi nahin karta....khud ke liye bhi nahin😆....his whole life has been spent being a workaholic and even now, an occasion only has meaning for him cuz of the people in his life who manage to make it special for him.

Today it was finally Imlie's turn to make this day special for him and prove once again how she is the light in his life.....jaan daal di Imlie ne phir se waapis T family mein bhi with her preparations for this birthday surprise😊......they all looked like a happy family after so many days.....and woh bhi GENUINELY.....zabardasti nahin kisi pressure mein aake as it felt with a certain other someone😆

I first thought ultimatum was not going to happen after watching the precap because I thought something will happen to Nishanth and the cancer story will start 😆

But after reading the discussion in NM thread, maybe Imlie will back out last minute and ultimatum will come. Could go either way😆

Word on the old vibes coming back after so long.....it feels surreal to experience this cuz I'd mostly felt like these vibes are gone forever - lost in the black hole of darkness that descended in the last two months of Didi obsessed tracks.....but I was very thankful to see the original Imlie re-emerging, spreading her sunshine over the family again.....😊

I can take family ka serious drama ahead vis a vis Nishant track too cuz ANYTHING will be a welcome break right now away from Didi overload inserted into T family all the time......I want to see more of Imlie doing things with the family now.

The script does seem to be getting better.....hope the writers can maintain the momentum going forward now that the AM divorce phase is finally heading towards its conclusion and the focus can turn to Imlie's role in the T family more directly.

Exactly, no didi scenes overpowered any aditya imlie ones for me, everyone was so in their old vibe and elements ke I was able to smoothly watch those too. This is exactly what we had been asking for.

About bold, let’s hope bhau sticks to the script and doesn’t visit SM.. 😆

LOL yes, only Imlie can get away with saying so many wacky things to Adi and make him crack a smile over being called akdu, langoor and pata nahin aur kya kya😆

This Nishant-Pallavi track does have good scope for Adi-Imlie to work as a team and also to build up some genuine Imlie-Nishant bonding finally too beyond his bhakti of ex-bhabhi😆.....so let's see if the writers finally capitalize on the potential there......I still also want to see Imlie providing emotional support to Adi regarding the fallout of Nishant's cancer revelation which is likely to hit Adi hard too.

Ultimatum ki khichdi pakaate reh jaayenge hum log and story kahin aur hi chali jaayegi tab tak😆......Adi looks very happy about getting Imlie to join him in telling the truth😆.....toh pucca something is going to happen to flip the tables on him yet again😆......whether it's Nishant ka attack ya Imlie ka excuse....lol dekhte hain.

Imlie's efforts & the T family ka support to celebrate Adi's birthday was nicely enacted. But, Imlie the journalist took the cherry on the cake today. 🤣Akadke k bhi birthday banate h, especially for Adi, uske liye toh pura delhi akadne ka faisla for ek din, including langoors. 🤣Even the Adi-roti line was damn hilarious! 😂 ST ki smile & salwar kameez was very pretty! Chehre pe raunal chahi h.

LOL, sundar's nautankis are light-hearted as always. Konse mahahurat pe pakda h Adi ne? 😂 Was good to see Adi bond with his family so happily! 👍🏼

Loved your review AY. Finally after ages we got such a nice filler episode, where we could just enjoy Imlie's "Imliegiri", which had been missing for some time. I think kal ke incident ke baad kahin na kahin Imlie has somewhat returned to her former self among the Tripathi family and it looks good seeing that. Her entire news bulletin about Adi was so well done and really brought a cute smile on his face. Even her extolling praises about Pallavi was cute to see. It's nice that Imlie and Pallavi seem to already have a relationship outside the T family, will help Imlie get Nishant and Pallavi together in the future.

I actually even liked the scene with Malini and AC, as finally in some way she stood up to her mother, which she never did this entire time. Matlab aaj sach mein jyada usne apni maa ko, lekin usme bhi use thoda leeway de diya saying that she understands that her dad cheated her (wahaan pe DC ko bhi ek token "sorry"). Phr bhi it was something, as mujhe toh laga itna bhi kabhi apni mom ko bol nahi payegi kabhi (matlab ab toh uske character se humein literally 0 expectation rakhne padenge to tolerate her on screen). Loved that today's precap ne sabko chop marwadi who felt that Adi would flip - we were right, divorce date ka sunneke direct Imlie se bday gift mangne chala gaya Adi to tell the truth to his family. Abhi Imlie flip karegi ki nahi, ultimatum hoga ki nahi, woh toh agle hafte hi pata chalega. But safe to say this was a good week of episodes (barring Monday) after a spate of weird weeks.
