he is that person only and only around society.

all alone he is the person chachi and kartik have made him to be

and this is clear if we see how he behaves when drunk or around ishqi. he has never been able to choose family over his feelings for anything or anyone.

Uski personality dabi hui hai..

Exactly. His beliefs that he flaunts around are not as rigid as everyone thinks. He just follows dadi blindly as he adoilzes her. In real, he is very much normal guy who can see wrong happening in society and given a logical argument he will change his stand.

Actually in earlier episodes when in their home they were arguing about women's place in society - he had a point in that : By making a woman of family work, handle the household chores, raise kids, be the perfect wife is basically doing wrong to the woman only. He never said he is against woman working etc just that men should be the provider and that we shouldn't pressure a girl that she needs to work when she has so many other responsibilities already set by society. Obviously many people with disagree - but what he is saying from his perspective is not bad.

Even in the most feminist household, at the end of the day a woman will always be doing more work than the man. This is the majority case - i am sure there are some anomalies but it's not how it is even in this day & age. This is a very common fact in most relationships where you have both members who work and have equally important careers... but women have always been more compassionate and with empathy so they take on more charge of being the caregiver as well.

I agree with you; even in the case when "clothes"come into picture - it's wrong to blame and shame the victim and Ahaan obviously didn't handle it well. But the truth is, we as women have to be more careful/ responsible for our safety. We can't be careless when it comes to our safety.

Yes I agree ... he lacks tact in talking about all this but he has a point and that point is valid, whether we like it or not. For instance, at any religious gathering - be it any religion, I am sorry but there is a level of respect in terms of attire, speaking, etc. Forget desi culture, even in western society, church weddings are quite conservative unless of course you belong to the Kardashian-types.

Today's precap scene had a 0.2 sec bit extra wherein Ahaan smiles slightly after catching hold of her hand.

Am I going crazy?😆
