Honestly, toxic raabta aside, I do understand to some extent why Kalyani wants to keep Anu with her. The doctor said it is possible for you to take care of Anu, but it's very difficult. So I do get that she would feel guilty sending Anu to a mental health facility even though it would be most practical thing to do, maybe even better for Anu. But I get it's hard cause the guilt will eat her alive, you'll always feel you can do a better job and that you are panning your responsibilities on others. Similar to many people sending aging parents that require lots of care and attention to old age homes for better treatment, its a practical decision cause between full time jobs and own children, they are not able to take care of aging parents, but it's not an easy decision, surely there will be some guilt associated that they have to send parents to old age home.
But here, I guess Kalyani feels she can do it as she's a stay at home mom, she can take of her Aai, Moksh and Gungun. But I think it's her overconfident speaking. Malhar has forgiven her now, but I'm 90% sure pregnancy will be added into the mix, and Kalyani will be a difficult spot. Cause when pregnancy is added into the mix, Malhar will no longer support this insanity.
Kalyani is overcompensating with Anu. Cause she feels that Anu has accepted sautan's daughter deep down. It's not just stepmother relationship, it's a matter of accepting the kid of your sautan, the same kid is also the reason why she lived miserably for most of her life. Not saying toxic raabta is right or realistic, but to Kalyani, she still feels the need to overcompensate with Anu. Same feeling is not there with Moksh or Malhar. In fact, feel is reversed with Malhar. Malhar is overcompensating for his actions with Anu and Kalyani as he feels guilty for his behavior. I was able to clearly understand that in today's episode. Not saying it's right though.
