This!! I honestly don’t understand and a part of me feels so angry! That’s why I haven’t been commenting on it honestly. There is just so much to say about how wrong it is! The cast is a beautiful ensemble, no idea why fans want to ruin it. I initially didn’t want to watch this show cuz I saw some real immature and toxic fans online (I mostly saw ShiVi ones but I’m sure it’s there for the other couples). I was honestly cringing at the comments. But then I decided to watch the show & wanted to drop by occasionally on this forum. Of course, I found a totally different vibe here! And I’m grateful for that! I hope the cast is able to block out as much as they can! It’s so so immature!

And honestly, ShiVi with a crappy story won’t work for me. If there is someone to blame, it’s the writers and channel. The actors are doing their job. I’m here for all the characters. I can’t watch a show just because I like a couple onscreen, if the writing doesn’t make sense. I won’t watch BS in the name of shipping. Nothing justifies such toxic behavior.

A GauRa fp wrote on her story about the toxic ShiVi fans ^ whatever was mentioned above and Akshay shared that on his story (which was not needed from him). I'll be honest the comments from that 'Alikan' fan wasn't needed, they should learn to stop coming at others just because they didn't like the episode. At the same time I don't like how people generalise ShiVi fans. KD ended up getting some hate comments after that too, from a gaura fp.

It's very messy atm.

We already know about the blocking situation. I feel for all of them. Eventually it'll get to them mentally.

Shaan was trying so hard to tell them that Rajni is fine and its just that her battery is dead but everybody was like "hamara beta biwi ke guzar jaane ke dukh mein pagal ho gaya hai"🤣

Only the initial promos were confusing, once the show started the promos them became just as hilarious as the show!🤣🤣

There is toxicity from both sides but it honestly comes from immature OTT fans who watch shows for just the couple 😆 Tho I won’t lie, I do find certain ShiVi fans to be super immature (I’m sure GauRa has the same). The comments under KD & Alice’s pics and even the lives make me cringe. I personally see Alice being turned off on the inside by all this. She appreciates fans but seems to be extremely empathetic and kind. She is a deep and mindful individual. KD probably lets it’s slide... like okay bacche hain. I honestly don’t understand the level of obsession certain fans have 😆 its going to be pretty bad once these two move on to other shows. I have seen toxic fans really affect the career and professional relationships of some amazing actors which is so sad and unfair. Anyway glad to stay away from all that and just enjoy what I can 😆

KD commented something like kameeno, I was also there on Kinshuk's latest pic of the Pandya Bros sans Shiva. There's your template insta conversation underneath that. You see these immature comments under many posts of the actors, and who knows the kind of abuse they're being hurled in the dms. It seems Akshay has been getting rude comments too.

About the offscreen stuff, they've said multiple times they're like a family and get along, people should just take their word for it. Even if there's some tension offscreen the actors put up a professional, amicable front, why should fans bother?

Forcing them to confront toxicity in the fandom won't do their mental health any favours when they're working in a confined environment, away from home and facing each other every day.

These toxic online brigade types had earlier ruined shows like IPK and DMG for me. I couldn't watch them when they were on air because of all the hate-mongering.

I refuse to watch Shivi without any sensible storyline.
