Although Ani is progressive, yet his impulsive behaviour on marriage day led to Bon facing the taunts of the society the next day. Similarly KSJ, although being good at heart, failed to keep his promise and this led to God knows what kind of insult of Thakuma. Because if Bon's marriage is taking place on 1920s, Thakuma's marriage fiasco might have happened almost 30 years back where the society was even more cruel. Even to this day, a broken marriage of a girl causes so much of defamation and insult to the whole of the girl's family and to the girl herself. We cannot even imagine what kind of torture Thakuma has to go through. Maybe this is the reason of her hatred towards aurat jaat as KSJ had to face nothing, and she had to face everything...just because she is an aurat. Ani and KSJ both of them could not understand the plight of women when she is insulted or left by her husband (or to be husband) in front of the society. Hope this thing is addressed in the upcoming episodes and Ani too realizes it.
